Why I dont think Bristle x Root was rushed (part #1) by Cozypaw

Cozypaw shares why they think Bristlefrost and Rootspring’s relationship.

Hi Everyone! my name is Cozypaw and this is my first article, I hope you enjoy it!
I have a confession to make. so I love Bristlefrost, I really clicked with her, and, as I am remarking, she is one of my favorite characters in the series. But I know people will have different opinions, and I respect that. and hopefully no one is bothered by this article. If i get somethong wrong, please correct me in the comments. Lets get into it!

Ok, so, in this first part I’d like to start with the Bristlefrost and Stemleaf. So, Bristlepaw has a crush on Stemleaf, so she hurries herself to be a warrior so they could be mates. to which iI have to point at Ferncloud and Dustpelt, becuase they where already kind of in a relationship when Fercloud was still an apprentice, so I don´t really see the rush. but she tries and tries until she finally gets pass her warrior assesment, right afer she recives her name, she confesess her feelings for him and gets let down, I felt like Stemleaf felt kind of guilty saying no, as it hurted Bristlefrost, but he was in love with Spotfur (I also like spotfur so im glas it was her and no cat else) so, its not like he let her down for nothing! Bristlefrost is salty about Spotfur at the start. but grows to repect her. Stemleaf gets… unalived by the imposter. and ive seen people remark how strange and careless was Bristlefrost´s reaction. but I have two ways to see it, First there were a lot of things to worry then, so I think she wouldd´ve been crying over spilled milk, people like spotfur, thornclaw and blossomfall for example, are the ones who probable mourn him, and she needed to be stable so she could be there for Spotfur, supporting her thru her loss and greif. and the other way to think about it is because she drowned her feelings for Stemleaf once he was mates with Spotfur. Tell me your opinion in the coments!
