Why ThunderClan is my Least Favorite Clan by Moonpaw

Hey everyone! Today I’m going to be explaining why ThunderClan is my least favorite clan. Without further ado, let’s get started!

Before starting, this contains MAJOR SPOILERS for A Starless Clan, the Broken Code, Omen of Stars, and actually, like every series ever. :3

Everyone knows that ThunderClan likes to save stuff. Land, the Clans, battles, etc. It can get a little boring, because we don’t get a lot from the other clans, except when ThunderClan goes to save them. It’s great that they want to help, but seriously, do they get help from the other clans? No. They stick their chin up and say that they don’t need any help. Honestly, I don’t blame Leopardstar for bursting out in fury in The Fourth Apprentice. Come on, Firestar! Just because she’s old doesn’t mean she can’t lead her clan just fine.
Speaking of which, we need to talk about Firestar. I know that the whole 1st series was based on him, so he is a super important character. But we don’t need to continuously bring him up in the books, even 3 series after his death! I mean seriously, wouldn’t it have been so much cooler if Rootspring had a different cat take his body? What about Redtail? He’s so underrated, and he is a great cat. Before you argue that Redtail died too long ago, think about this; the same goes for Firestar. He is such a Gary Sue!! No, the fourth cat is Firestar, Firestar leads the battle against the dark forest, and Firestar leads the battle against Ashfur and his spirit army. Firestar, Firestar, Firestar! It gets old. I would love to see some more of the other powerful toms that are not in ThunderClan.

I know the Broken Code exploited some weakness in this clan, and I liked that. For once, ThunderClan was not the best Clan, they were one of- if not the weakest- clan. Yes, one might argue that losing a leader would destroy a Clan, but did it destroy RiverClan in A Starless Clan? No, they kept trucking like the awesome cats they are! And they lost their deputy, too!
So yeah, ThunderClan always seems to get the attention. Maybe this series, it’ll be some other clan.
