Why I hate Moth Flight by Flickerbreeze

Flickerbreeze shares why they don’t like Moth Flight.

Hey ppl, I have a long hate list for cats. Today, I’ll be explaining why I hate Moth Flight so much. Let’s begin with a brief introduction. Moth Flight is an ancient WindClan medicine cat. She was born to Windstar and Gorse Fur. She has kits with a SkyClan cat, Micah and gives her kits away soon after. Now, onto the main part of this article. MAJOR SPOILERS FOR MOTH FLIGHT’S VISION!!!

Let’s start with Moth Flight’s vision. She is supposed to watch over Slate’s kits, but falls asleep and they end up missing. They end up finding the kits on the moor safe and sound, but they could have gotten killed. What if a fox had found them or if they got lost. Her mother lectures her about being more responsible. Then she goes hunting with her family. Being distracted, she misses a vole right beneath her nose. After that, he mother and father argue. Her mother says she’s too irresponsible and her father says she’ll grow out of it. She then gets distracted again by a moth and chases it onto the Thunderpath recklessly. Gorse Fur saves her from a monster. HER DISTRACTED BRAIN ALMOST LED TO HER AND HER FATHER’S DEATHS!!! Windstar is furious and exiles her own daughter from the Clan.

She later follows the moth, but gets attacked by a dog. Some barn cats save her, including Micah. She rests for a bit at the barn before pursuing the green moth again, which eventually leads her to the moonstone. Micah follows her. There, Moth Flight speaks with StarClan. After that, she and Micah go back to the Clans. Micah later joins Clear Sky’s group and he and Moth Flight become mates. Willow Tail and Red Claw get into a fight and Micah tries to stop them, but gets killed. Moth Flight later gives birth to his kits, but decides she can’t keep them because they’re getting in the way of her duty as a medicine cat. Hmmm, it totally doesn’t sound like some other cat was condemned because of that. She decides no medicine cat can have kits.

Later, in Leafpool’s trial, Moth Flight accuses Leafpool of having kits despite being a medicine cat with a cat from another Clan. This is where I really started hating her. It is plain unfairness. She has kits with a SkyClan cat and decides “Oh I’m the first and last medicine cat who can do that!”. Excuse me, but who gave you the right to decide that? Having kits did not distract Leafpool from her duties. She can’t throw the accusation of Leafpool having kits with a cat from another Clan cause guess what didn’t she have kits with a SkyClan cat?

Anyways, I feel she’s a hypocrite, plain and simple. It’s alright to accuse someone for breaking the rules, but…YOU CAN’T BERATE HER FOR SOMETHING YOU DID YOURSELF!!!Like I said, I also dislike her tendency to get distracted, which got her into big trouble. All this is to say, I hate Moth Flight. Sorry for any Moth Flight fans out there. Anyways, Flickos is out.
