Sliverthorn argues why Ashfur would’ve been better for Squirrelflight than Brambleclaw.

Aithne felt a cold breeze into her den and shivered. ‘This winter…’ she reminded herself, rising to her paws and stretching out into the snow. Her tribe was shivering all around her, their eyes glazed with fever and their pelts thin.
‘Why does our tribe have to be freezing while the IceFangs are thriving?’ Aithne thought as she padded over to the prey pile.
Sunny walked into camp, a mouse and a vole in her jaws. She set them down as a cold breeze came right at her. “Aithne come sit with me”
Aithne nodded. “Alright.”
Settling down, she shook her fluffed out pelt. “What do you think about this weather? Do you think it’ll ever go away?”
Sunny shrugged and made a fire in front of her. The fire melted the snow around Aithne and Sunny. “I don’t like this weather but I’m not sure if it will go away.”
Bramble approached his little sister and her friend. He watched as the moon started to rise. “Hey, wanna go hunting?”
Shadow slipped out of the SkyFang, camp, shivering. Why does it have to be so cold? I hope the waterfall isn’t frozen,
Scatter saw Shadow leave and decided to follow. “Hey, Shadow,” she greeted. “Mind if I join you?”
Shadow froze. She’d thought she’d be able to slip away easily. “Sure..” She mewed after minutes of hesitation.
Scatter noted Shadow’s hesitation. “I mean, if you don’t want company, I can find something else to do…”
“Oh, um..uh..you can leave if you want to.” Shadow replied, hoping Scatter would take the hint.
Scatter dipped her head. “I’ll leave you be, then.” She padded off in a different direction.
Shadow quickly left the camp before any other camp could object. She followed the familiar cold ancient stone path down to her home away from home. The elders said the path was created by Twolegs many seasons ago.
Claw treaded onto SkyFangs territory, he had made it! He could spy on the other wolves, but two wolves were coming his way he turned into honey. They didn’t spot him, that was great!
Aithne took a bite out of the vole. “I’m so sick of this cold. It’s so dangerous!” She sighed to Sunny.
Fox sat near the FlameFang camp entrance. Will they ever take me back? Mother?
Sunny nodded as Bramble walked up. “Hey want to go hunting?”
Aithne nodded. “Sure! Sounds fun.” ‘If there’s prey, I hope.’ She added silently, but smiled. She was glad to be a FlameFang. She could burn her prey once she saw it. Though of course, different FlameFangs had different powers revolving around fire,
just like the other tribes with the ground, water, and sky.
“Where should we hunt?” Aithne asked, flexing her claws.
“Maybe near the border with the Groundfangs?” Bramble shrugged. “Their forests are mostly filled with prey. Maybe some of that prey will spill into our territory.”
Aitne nodded. “Alright.”
“You lead the way.”
Aithne led the way out of the camp and into the cold bitter woods. Shaking her pelt, she flexed her claws, tasting the air. “Do you smell anything?” She asked the others.
She picked up the scent of a rabbit and dropped down to the ground, pouncing.
With a flick of her tail, the rabbit up ahead burst into flames as a flame lit it and killed it swiftly.
Her amber eyes glowing, Aithne made the fire carry the rabbit towards her and grabbed it in her jaws.
Sunny concentrated and closed her eyes. Suddenly 3 little flames appeared near them. As the flames died down, it was revealed that three mice had been killed the flames darted towards Sunny, and dropped the mice at her feet. Sunny looked around for her brother and noticed he was gone. “Hey, Aithne! Have you seen Bramble?”
“No, I haven’t.” Aithne shook her head with a bristling pelt.
“Where could he have gone?” Sunny wondered aloud
“Let’s look for him.” Aithne decided, bounding off in the forest; holding the rabbit in her jaws
“Ok!” (By the way, he will be found by the Earth border)
(UGH! The last comment isn’t showing up on my screen! I mean the words aren’t. Any tips? )] )
