Refs for both!: I sadly don’t have any refs, but SleepCatcher is a light whitish brown she-cat with slightly darker brown stripes on face, tail, and paws. She has thin tail with a puffy floof at the end, and blue eyes with gold flecks. ToucanFeather is a black Tom with a long feathery tail and orange-ish paws and muzzle with purple eyes

Graphite pencils were used, I scanned the image on my printer, then edited it a bit with procreate! I though plain grayscale was, well, plain 😛
For people with requests, I’m working on them! I’ve started on Pantherpaw and Hazelwhisker, but I haven’t finished yet.
I have more art that I haven’t shared (consists of Oonsh and a clay Freckle!!) but I’ll share that after I finish some requests hahaha

I used a small mixed-media piece of paper, then (with a reference) sketched out the proportions with a 2H pencil. With a darker (2B i think) pencil, I went over the outlines and erased my guidelines. I shaded it in with a B pencil, and added darker values as the shadows were formed. (Adding the darker shadows included using 4B and 6B pencils!) After Whitepatch was done, I sketched in some flowers and shaded those too. (although not as dark as the positive space!)
Lastly, using a brush (yeah, paintbrushes can be used with graphite 😛 ) I added some value into the negative space.

Ooh wait I forgot that one huge help was a small blending stick!! It’s what makes the pencil lines blend into each other, it’s so good 😀
