I just spent an hour creating a lovely collection of wobbly lines vaguely shaped like a very lumpy, crooked face and ending up deleting it. (which, by the way, isn’t even as satisfying as crumpling up a piece of paper)

My lines usually start out wobbly, too. For me the key is to then zoom in and fix up the wobbly parts.
I second what Viper said about practicing. ^^ Also, finding the program that works best for you really helps. I used to dread digital art until I found a program I’m comfortable with and then practiced a lot.

Yeah I’m much better at traditional
you just have to practice, honestly. keep experimenting. don’t expect it to be perfect on your first try – just try to have fun with it, and the skill will come over time. when you’re first starting out, i suggest keeping your drawings pretty simple – i started out by drawing ducktales characters, which have really simple designs that i could easily reference. i also use a lot of references, and copying poses is a good exersize too. my old sketchbooks are filled with poor renditions of random scenes from the ducktales comics, but it taught me how to draw different poses and angles and familiarized me with the designs, and my art now is a lot better for it. it’s also fun!
for wobbly lines, you can try making a sketch layer underneath that’s messy so you know where to go. it’s hard to do lineart freehand. you can also try drawing a bunch of small little lines instead of one long line, if that makes any sense.
digital art programs in particular have a lot of tools that can seem overwhelming and confusing when you’re first starting out. i think it’s best to start out a little at a time and play around with them! also, look up tutorials.
remember, art is a learned skill. as long as you continue to draw, you’ll improve! and the most important thing is to have fun with it and enjoy creating.

I’ve been training one of my my chickens Peach to spin when I tell her to (she’s doing really good!) She actually starts spinning whenever she sees my mom pass by her enclosure, to beg for treats.
Today I was spending some time with Cherry, and she just started spinning. I never taught her that trick so she must have learned it from her sister!
