Okay, so this post is a little later than what I would’ve wanted, but I’ve had a busy week 😛 I’m also a little tired, so, only one cat pic this time 😛 You’re getting plenty from Cadvent, anyway...

Ivypool rocks
This is the role playing page for my Survivors role play! We will role play here.
Ivypool rocks
Alpha~
Alpha opened her eyes in the den she shared with her mate, Beta.
“Wake up, Beta.” she softly woofed.
“It’s time to organize patrols.”
Beta opened his eyes.
“Ok,” he barked, walking out of the den with Alpha.
Ivypool rocks
(Nightshade)
Nightshade stumbled out of the Hunter’s den, blinking her eyes to try to get more awake. She saw Beta walk out of Alpha’s den, with Alpha at his side, so she assumed it was time to organize the patrols, so she directed all her attention onto Alpha and Beta.
Beta~
“Nightshade!” Beta called.
“Do you want to lead a hunting patrol?”
Ivypool rocks
(Nightshade)
“Yes Beta!” Nightshade called, dipping her head to him, elated that she could lead a hunting patrol. There’s no better feeling then bringing back food for the pack! “Who should I take with me?” She asked
~Sadie~
Giving Smokey a lick, Sadie headed out of the den. She pricked her ears attentively, wondering if she would be chosen for the hunting patrol.
Swan~
Swan quickly went up to Alpha and Beta. She was the Third Dog, and had to send out patrols with Alpha and Beta.
“Good morning,” she said.
Then she saw Sadie. “Would you like to be on a hunting patrol?” she asked.
Dovewing defender
(Nightshade)
“So will me and Sadie be on the patrol together?” Nightshade asked Swan. “Should anyone else come?”
~Sadie~
“Sure!” Sadie barks, “I can go with Nightshade.”
(Nightshade)
“Ok.” Nightshade looked to Sadie, then to Swan Alpha and Beta. “Is anyone else going to come?” She asked.
Beta~
“I’ll go.” Beta said. “Alpha? Do you want to come?”
Dovewing defender
Alpha~
“No thanks, Beta. I actually feel kind of tired.” Alpha said.
“But… you slept all night.” Beta said.
Alpha snapped, “I KNOW, Beta.”
“No need to be loud,” Beta muttered, walking toward Sadie, Nightshade, and Swan.
Alpha felt kind of bad for snapping at Beta. He was her mate, after all.
But she couldn’t take back what had already been done.
Dovewing defender
Swan~
Swan felt a little uncomfortable, watching as Alpha and Beta had a brief argument.
“Time to hunt, I guess!” she quickly said.
Dovewing defender
~Sadie~
“Yes,” Sadie agreed, nodding, “The pack needs to be fed.”
Spirit~
Spirit had a lot of work to do. They had to get fresh moss to every dog’s nest.
Giving Alpha, Beta, and Third Dog a nod, they trotted off to find some good moss.
Dovewing defender
(Dandelion)
“Omega!” Dandelion whispered. “While I was out on patrol I thought I’d get some moss to help you!” She looked over into the forest. “It’s behind that really big oak tree right over there!” She paused a little. “It might not be as good moss as you could find, but it’s better then nothing.
Spirit~
Spirit wasn’t sure if the Omega was supposed to have help. Alpha and Beta might not approve. But if it got the job done…
“Thanks, Dandelion.” they barked.
Dovewing defender
(Dandelion)
“No problem!” She barked quietly. “I don’t think it’s quite fair, to be honest, putting all that work on one dog.” She sighed. “But that’s pack law, it must be there for a reason.”
Spirit~
“I guess you’re right. But thanks all the same,” Spirit said as they trotted off to the big oak tree.
Dovewing defender
(Dandelion)
“Bye Omega!” Dandelion whispered as Spirit walked away. A part of her felt bad for calling her Omega, but she didn’t want to get into any more trouble if their conversation was heard.
Spirit~
Spirit saw the tree that Dandelion was talking about.
They saw moss, so much of it!
They quickly started dragging to dogs’ dens.
(Open for interaction)
(Jump)
Jump watched as Sniff ran out of the den and started bouncing over to Omega, who was dragging moss into one of the other dens. “What’s it like being the Omega?” Sniff asked, without even hesitating to think if it was a good idea to talk to the Omega. How does he do it? Jump wondered
{Omega is actually non-binary, so Jump should have thought, “How do they do it?” Please remember their pronouns next time.}
Spirit~
“Well… it’s a lot of work, I guess. But I suppose it’s worth it, to see your Packmates comfortable at night with fresh moss.” Spirit barked.
HazelFall forever
(The “he” in that sentence was referring to Sniff, not Spirit. Sorry for the mixup!)
(Jump)
“Don’t you hate being the Omega?” Sniff asked. “I sure would. You barely get anything to eat! Don’t you starve!” Jump walked over to Sniff. “Keep asking those questions and you’ll be the Omega.” Jump joked.
Spirit~
“Being Omega isn’t so bad, when you get used to it.” Spirit responded.
“As for food, well- this is the way it’s always been in a Pack. Surely that means it’s right?”
(Sniff)
Sniff flicked his tail. “Maybe it is.” He barked. “But that doesn’t mean you’d have to like it.”
Spirit~
“I DO like it!” Spirit insisted. But they knew that they were lying, deep down.
They didn’t like being the Omega. They missed the days when dogs called them Spirit, not Omega.
All they ever wanted as a Pup was to be a Hunter.
But they’d slowly dropped in rank, and now- look where they were.
“It’s fine. Don’t worry about it, Sniff.” Spirit said.
(Jump)
“Come on Sniff.” Jump said, nosing Sniff back into their den. “Omega must be really busy.” Jump looked over to Omega. “I’m sorry about my brother.” She said to them. “He obviously doesn’t know what manners are.”
Spirit~
“Bye.” Spirit said.
~Smokey~
Smokey bounced around Sadie’s legs. “I want to come hunt, too!” he yipped.
Sadie’s tail wagged. “Not yet, Smokey,” she told her brother, amusement in her whine, as she gently pushed him aside, “You’re still very little- you’d get lost!”
“Okay,” Smokey whined. He was disappointed, but didn’t protest.
“I’ll bring you back something tasty,” Sadie cheered him up.
(Nightshade)
Nightshade looked at Sadie and Smokey, and with a pant of memory she remembered Blackberry. It’s all in the past, why can’t you just let go? Her mind growled at her. “Let’s go now.” Nightshade barked icily. Remembering that Beta and Swan were on the hunting patrol too. “If you two are ready, of course.” She added quickly.
Swan~
“Come on, you two.” Swan called to Nightshade and Sadie.
Dovewing defender
(Nightshade)
“Yes Swan!” Nightshade barked, following the Third Dog.
Swan~
“Around the lake always has good prey,” Swan barked, heading that way.
Dovewing defender
(Nightshade)
Nightshade followed Swan out of the camp. “Then let’s go.” She barked
Beta~
“I might go talk with Alpha first. I need to apologize for being rude.” Beta told Nightshade.
“I’ll be back soon.”
Dovewing defender
(Nightshade)
Nightshade dipped her head to Beta, as she followed Swan
Swan~
Swan started walking. It was a very nice day.
She sniffed the air. “I think I smell a deer!”
Turning to her fellow hunters, she said, “If we all work together, we could catch it!”
A deer would be enough for every member of the Pack to eat until they were full, even Omega.
(Nightshade)
“I’m with you.” Nightshade barked. “How are we gonna tackle this one?” Nightshade thought for a bit, then said more. “How about I’ll chase it forward, then you and Sadie keep it from getting to far. Beta and Alpha can then jump in and take it out.” She quietly barked out the plan with confidence.
Swan~
“That sounds like it would work,” Swan barked. “What do you two think?” she asked Alpha and Beta.
Beta~
“It’s a very good plan,” Beta said, giving Nightshade a nod.
Alpha~
“I think it’ll work.” Alpha said.
(Nightshade)
“T-thank you!” Nightshade whispered, forcing her tail not to wag and shake something. Taking her position, and walked around the deer. Her heart almost stopped when it lifted its head to look around, but it didn’t see her. Thank the Forest-Dog. Nightshade thought. Once she was right behind the deer, she gave a signal that she was about to chase the deer, and burst out of the bushes, barking and biting at the deer’s rump.
Beta~
Beta leapt out, starting to attack the deer as well.
Alpha~
Alpha started to follow Beta, but then heard Swan bark, “Wait!”
“Swan, what is it?” Alpha asked.
Swan~
Swan had spotted two baby deer, peering out of the trees.
“This deer is a mother deer! If we kill her, her babies will die!”
(Nightshade)
Nightshade came to a halt as soon as she had heard what Swan said. “What?” She barked in surprise.
Alpha~
Alpha’s eyes narrowed. “We NEED that deer. It is the best prey we’ve seen in moons.”
Beta~
“Russet! We can’t let the young deer die!” Beta barked.
Alpha~
It had been a long time since Beta had called Alpha her real name. Russet didn’t even feel like her name anymore.
“Swan. Kill the deer.” she said.
Swan~
Swan couldn’t do this. “No.” she said. “I won’t.”
(Nightshade)
Nightshade didn’t know what to do. Both Beta and Swan didn’t want the deer dead, and Nightshade wasn’t sure she wanted it dead either, but Alpha wanted the deer for the pack. In the meantime, while Alpha Beta and Swan worked things out-at least she hoped they would-Nightshade kept the deer from fleeing, which was hard as it kept lowering its head and she had to jump away multiple times.
Swan~
“Nightshade, you’re letting it suffer!” Swan yelped.
Alpha~
“Kill it now.” Alpha said.
Beta~
“Don’t!” Beta barked.
Alpha~
Alpha went back to her den. She was tired, and also annoyed with Beta.
I shouldn’t be this tired. Or this annoyed. Earth Dogs, what’s happening to me? Sky Dogs? Forest Dogs? River Dogs? Can anyone know?
Alpha huffed. Get it together.
She saw Omega gathering moss out of the corner of her eye.
They’re a good Omega. Always does what they’re told.
Alpha then decided that she would try to sleep, but if she couldn’t, she might join a hunting party.
If she wasn’t still tired.
Dovewing defender
Beta~
Beta poked his head into his and Alpha’s den.
“Alpha? I’m sorry I snapped at you. I was being rude.”
Alpha~
“I was rude too.” Alpha admitted.
Beta~
“Swan and the others can’t be far. Want to join the hunting party?”
Alpha~
“Sure.” Alpha said, getting up.
Swan~ (to Nightshade and Sadie)
“Looks like Alpha and Beta are joining us,” Swan barked.
Brook looked around to see the Omega. “Hi,Im Brook” she whispered
Spirit~
“Hi.” Spirit said. They continued to gather moss, uncertain if they were allowed to talk on duty.
(Oof, I haven’t roleplayed here for so long! Sorry about that. I’ll try to be more active now that I’ve gotten used to the new Blog.)
~Sadie~
“That’s good!” Sadie smiled, “I think we could really use their help.” Her tail wagged in welcome as she saw Alpha and Beta in the distance. “Hi! We’re over here!” she yelped because the tall bushes hid the hunting patrol from view. At the same time she was careful not to bark loudly enough to scare off any prey- they needed all the prey they could get.
Beta~
“Hello,” Beta barked, coming closer.
Alpha~
“Did you catch anything while Beta and I weren’t here?” Alpha asked.
Swan~
Swan barked, “No. But that will change.”
Swan~
Swan paused, then corrected herself, “Actually, Sadie did catch some.”
~Sadie~
Sadie glanced at the meager amount of prey she had managed to catch, her brown eyes shining with a mix of embarrassment, amusement, and determination.
“Sorry I didn’t get much,” she told the others apologetically, “I’ll try over there and hopefully make up for it.” With her slim muzzle she motioned to a row of trees.
Swan~
“It’s fine,” Swan assured Sadie, “we still have plenty of time before we need to head back.”
Sadie gave Swan a grateful glance.
Swan~
“Sadie, what do you think? Should we kill the deer?” Swan asked.
Alpha~
“Feeding the Pack is the most important thing.” Alpha argued.
finally i snuck out. now i can get some free time without anyone watching over me. Then a badger jumped out infront of her. oh no! what do i do?
Beta~
“Wait, is that Brook?” Beta asked, peering through the trees, recognizing the pup’s small shape.
(Stripekit, I have a tip: make sure you say your character’s name before saying what they’re doing! It’ll help if you have more then on character.
Like, for example, you could do:
Brook~
Brook walked up to another dog.
I don’t mean to offend 🙂 )
(Thanks for the tip 🙂 )
(You’re welcome!)
~Jessa~ (Sad news, the real Jessa passed away a few days ago. 🙁 I will continue roleplaying here with her to help her memory live on <3 )
Jessa walked towards the fresh kill pile and took a piece of prey. She glanced around the camp, wondering which dogs had gone out on patrol.
(I’m so sorry, Pine! 🙁 )
Spirit~
“Jessa, I’m gathering fresh moss. (no, autocorrect, not fresh mods!) Does your nest need any?” Spirit asked.
~Jessa~
“I think my nest is fine,” Jessa barked. She liked keeping moss in her nest for a while before changing it- she found it more comfortable.
Spirit~
Spirit flicked their tail. “Alright.” they said.
“What about you, Ruby?” they asked.
Ruby~
“Are any patrols being sent out?” Ruby asked Spirit.
Spirit~
“Alpha and Beta left on a hunting patrol not long ago.” Spirit told Ruby.
Ruby~
Ruby was a Patrol Dog, not a Hunter, so she said, “I’ll wait till they come back.”
Ruby~
Ruby walked out of the Patrol Dogs’ den, huffing with annoyance. She’d gotten up late.
Brook~
What do I do? Do I run and hide,or stand here and seem like a statue? Brook chose option 2. It seemed like the safest way until help came.
Beta~
Beta barked, “Guys! Forget the deer, we need to fight this badger and help Brook!”
~Rusty~
Rusty flew at the badger, baring his teeth and growling fiercely.
Swan~
Swan picked up Brook by the scruff of her neck, and put the pup several feet away.
“Don’t. Move.” she ordered, then dove right back into the fight.
Alpha~
Alpha winced in pain as the badger slashed the side of her face.
Beta~
“Alpha!” Beta gasped, but he turned again to focus on the badger.
Swan~
“It’s running to the camp!” Swan howled, watching in horror as the badger entered the camp…
Pups. There were pups in the camp, pups who didn’t know how to fight!
Ruby~
Ruby gasped as a badger came into the camp, Beta, Alpha, Swan, and Sadie (am I missing anyone? Oh, Nightshade) chasing after it.
Spirit~
Spirit didn’t know what to do. They were the Omega, not a Hunter or Patrol Dog! Should they run, or fight? They stood rooted to the spot, having no idea what to do.
Aurum-
“Wha-” Aurum yelped, bolting out of their den at the commotion. This is what I get for sleeping in, they thought, bristling at the sigh of the menace that had invaded the camp. The badger was smaller than xem, but they knew that its claws were sharp. With a snarl, they lunged forwards, biting at the badger’s shoulder.
Gray-
Gray got up ready for the day dangit I woke up late
(By the way I have only read one book of survivors soo)
(It’s ok! This role play is pretty similar to a Clan life role play, except with a Pack. If you have any questions, I’ll answer them 🙂 )
