Thank you so much to everyone who participated in this year’s gift exchange! As always, your creations were absolutely wonderful and you never fail to blow me away with your talent and creativity! To find your name in...
Okay, so this post is a little later than what I would’ve wanted, but I’ve had a busy week 😛 I’m also a little tired, so, only one cat pic this time 😛 You’re getting plenty from Cadvent, anyway...
The seventh edition of the Blog Monthly is here – written by Lil, fresh off the printing press Hello, everyone!! The Blog Monthly is back and better than ever! I hope you all love this edition, in my opinion it is one...
Spiritflight and Coralpaw discuss ships from the series.
Fallowpaw defends Appledusk.
Pinnerpaw –
Pinnerpaw was prancing around camp not knowing when they would come back. “What if they got lost somhow. Or maybe they got in a fight with Bloodclan lost and Bloodclan took the survivors and turned them into prisoners “he thought. He wished he knew where the groups were.
(all the cats went to BloodClan ALL)
Opps sorry i just didn’t see my character’s name
(Smokestrike)
Smokestrike watched as Windhowl ran into the trees. She had to stop herself from calling out. What’s wrong with me? She wondered. Why did she want to follow Windhowl into the trees? Smokestrike growled to nobody, though it was most likely at herself, and walked away from Calo, Bloodmoon, Tigersnow and the kits.
(Calo and Moon left already)
~Windhowl~
Windhowl’s head hurt, his claws flexed and he caterwauled into the air, not to anyone specifically, he hated secrets, he hated Loststar, he hated everything, why couldn’t he just have two DarkClan parents, no half-clan siblings, and NO feelings for a stupid WaterClan she-cat… he growled and attacked a tree, he soon calmed down, he noticed other scratches on the trees, knowing he didn’t make those, “This is either a training area or a place that they get their anger out…” he stared at the blood stains, bones of prey. A sketch in the ground, a cat lead a large group of cats, he noticed Bloodmoon beside the lead cat. “Scourge and Moon…” he realized, in a new sketch that looked fresh showed cats attacking a smaller group of cats… “BloodClan is going to attack the Clans…” he hissed and ran back to the place the Clan cats were staying.
(Oh, ok)
(Smokestrike)
Smokestrike saw Windhowl run into the place the clan cats were staying. She wanted to run to Windhowl’s side and ask what was wrong, but she knew she couldn’t. She knew she shouldn’t want to. She slowly walked over to where he was. “Where were you Windhowl?” A DarkClan cat Smokestrike didn’t remember the name of asked. “Loststar came back but you didn’t. Loststar looked worried, too.” Smokestrike pricked her ears to hear what Windhowl would say
*extra info here: the cat is Jaggedpath, though that will only make a difference if you want too*
~Windhowl~
Windhowl’s breath seemed to be lost… “I…I-I s-saw…” he took a breath “I saw her plans for the Clans…” he tipped over and fell limp, he was in shock.
(Smokestrike)
Smokestrike started running towards Windhowl, but jerked herself to a stop. “Windhowl?” The DarkClan cat asked. “Loststar! Come, Windhowl needs help!” Smokestrike turned around, and went back to where she was sitting earlier. Why do I want to help him so much? Smokestrike wondered. He did help me, Smokestrike thought. But he also attacked her! And made his own sister in danger of getting hurt by Echomist! He never hurt Pebblepaw. The thought echoed in her mind, and she had to block it out. I hate him! Smokestrike thought, hoping if she thought it hard enough she could convince herself. I hate him, I hate Loststar, I hate DarkClan! Her mind thought hard, trying to distract her from wanting to help Windhowl.
(Whoa whoa whoa what did Echomist do?)
(She attacked Pebblepaw remember?)
(Oh yeah
Is he STILL holding a grudge about that ? 😛)
(1. Smokestrike is a she, not a he,
2. Yeah, of course she does! She hates the entirety of DarkClan for being related to the “death” of her father (who she never met) Of course she would hate Echomist for doing that one thing that one time)
(op sorry spellcheck annoying)
(It most certainly is)
Amberclaw saw Smokestrike getting really mad.
“What’s wrong?” She asked, but then remembered how much smokestrike hates her. She realized she was backing away and returned, awaiting an answer
(Smokestrike)
“Nothing!” She snapped quickly at Amberclaw. Why does she want to know? Smokestrike wondered. Why does she care? “I’m fine.” She curled up, putting her tail over her ears. If it was any other time, she would have left the area, but she didn’t want to risk re-opening her wounds, which had just begun to start healing. They’ve been re-opened enough, she thought. If it weren’t for those DarkClan cats then this she would have been fine!
Clawstar-
May all clans gather under the twolegplace roof for a gather-”
Before she can finish, Tyro jumps out at her and knocks her off the roof. She falls, and falls, and splatters on the floor. And does not get up. Tyro looks out at all the cats and sprints off. There are yowls of surprise and anger, and everyone knows what this means: War.
(Ripplekit)
“W-what’s going on?” Blazekit stammered, as the cats erupted into battle around them. “We need to get out of here!” Splashfur meowed sharply, picking up Blazekit by the scruff. Blazekit looked too terrified to protest. He went as close to Blazekit as he could. “Don’t worry.” He murmured as calmingly as he could. “I’ll protect you.” “Where’s Irisshine?” Splashfur asked, his eyes darting around the battlefield, filled with terror. “I-I don’t know.” Blazekit mewed, unable to keep her voice steady. Ripplekit could see her trembling. “Splashfur, we need to get Blazekit out of the battle!” He meowed fiercely. He was surprised that he could muster that ferocity, though Splashfur didn’t seem phased. “Irisshine! Irisshine!” He kept calling. “I’m…fine…” Blazekit huffed. Ripplekit could almost feel her heartbeat racing. Or is it mine? He wondered. Suddenly, the weight of the moment crashed down. This was a battle. A battle . Cats could die here, and he couldn’t do anything. Suddenly he felt his legs collapse under him. “Ripplekit!” Blazekit cried. I have to be strong! Ripplekit thought as he got back to his paws. For Blazekit!
Ripplekit is in the store finding the honey, and failing to open the can. He just said fox dung
(Then Splashfur comes and scolds him for his bad language, and Blazekit gives him a can opener. Ripplekit doesn’t know how to use it and Splashfur doesn’t want him taking the honey. He almost says mouse-dung but stops himself)
~Bloodmoon~
Bloodmoon sat as the Clan cts attacked one another, she yowled and every BloodClan cat walked up to a Clan cat and pinned them. “Clans!” she hissed. “I know I of all cats shouldn’t be saying this, but fighting isn’t the thing you should be doing” she walked around the hissing cats. “Get to your feet, and go to your seperate areas, NOW” she bared her teeth.
(Smokestrike)
Smokestrike saw a BloodClan cat walk up to her and pin her down. The cat looked older and larger then her, and though she struggled she couldn’t get free. Why would Bloodmoon stop the fight? Smokestrike struggled more, and the cat pinning her down just tightened their grip. She hissed, not saying anything, and went limp. The cat tightened its grip. “Let me go!” She hissed. The cat didn’t move, and it looked at Bloodmoon. “Now get to your feet, and go to your separate areas NOW!” She heard Bloodmoon’s voice. The cat got off of her, but it stayed close in case she tried to run. Separate areas? She wondered. Was she trying to keep them from fighting? Or was she trying to make the clans each easy to pick off, one by one.
~Windhowl~
Windhowl walked away into the DarkClan temporary camp as he watched Calo and Bloodmoon walk up to Loststar and the limp body of Clawstar. (I am assuming that she is dead o>o) Loststar dipped his head to Clawstar and looked up at Calo, Calo’s eyes showed mourning and Bloodmoon closed her eyes and put her nose to Clawstar’s.
(Blazekit)
Blazekit froze in terror as she saw her leader’s body. Ripplekit was trembling, and he murmured something Blazekit couldn’t hear. “Will Clawstar be ok?” She asked Splashfur, who was also looking at Clawstar, his gaze filled with grief. Splashfur didn’t answer. “Leaders have nine lives, right? StarClan gave them to her. Right?” Blazekit felt Ripplekit’s tail touch her shoulders, followed by Splashfur’s. “Let’s get you two to a medicine cat, you’ve had a mighty shock.” Splashfur meowed, picking Blazekit back up. Blazekit was too shocked to struggle. She simply let herself go limp as Splashfur carried her away. Please wake up! Blazekit thought. We need you, we were going to fulfill our prophecy! Blazekit’s thoughts trailed off as the weight of what happened collapsed, and she found herself being pulled away by sleep.
“That cat, just killed, a leader,” Amberclaw growls with her teeth bared and claws unsheathed
~Bloodmoon~
“I get that, but don’t attack the other Clans, especially with BloodClan here.” she glared at Amberclaw, her eyes showing her pride of the grusom cats.
“Attack the other clans? We’re attacking Bloodclan. Your clan. I don’t know why you want to kill my leader, but you better have a good reason. Also, what makes you the ruler of us? What if i dont want to go to my ‘seperate area’?”
~Bloodmoon~
Bloodmoon raised her eyebrow and looked at her cats. “Tyrantstar killed Clawstar. What makes you think you were supposed to attack BloodClan? We did nothing but help you guys! So tell me cat, why attack us?” she growled, her teeth bared at the cat who challenged her, despite her being small, her Clan made her look huge.
No tyro killed Clawstar
A character I made up.
~Echo & Half & Jasper~
Echomist glared at the grass. “Any idea what the prophecy means?”
“Nope.” Halfbird sighed. “We’ll never know!”
“Hey!” A voice called.
Echomist and Halfbird turned around.
“Over ‘ere!” The sisters saw a black she-cat with ginger paws lying lazily on a fence. She licked a paw. “New ’round ‘ere, are you?”
Echomist glanced at Halfbird, then turned to the she-cat. “Um, yes. Who are you, exactly?”
“Me?” The she-cat slid off the wall and down in front of them. “The name’s Jasper. And I suppose you’re Echomist an’ she’s ‘alfbird?”
Halfbird’s eyes widened. “Yes, yes, that’s us. We’re a tiny bit lost, could you help us?”
Jasper chuckled. “Two young kitties, lost in Twolegplace. ‘ow can I resist?”
The sisters sighed in relief.
“You know, you came to the right cat,” Jasper mewed as she led them through the town. “I’m well known in this place for knowin’ me way ’round.”
“Really?”
“Oh, yeah. Ask me anythin’, I’ll tell you ‘ow it is.”
Purdy walks into the room
(What?)
(Jasper)
It’s because Purdy kind of says things like young un’
Also he knows the way around
(Oh yeah.
But female 😛)
(Jasper is the reincarnation of Purdy confirmed)
(NO.
She is his great great great great great great great great great granddaughter 😛)
(She must be really great then!)
Hey bloompaw?
(Yes?)
Will smoke strike ever have a friend?
(Good question. Smokestrike may have one someday…but I don’t think she’s quite ready yet. She probably will get one someday. She likes Windhowl, but she’ll never admit it)
Skit-
Windhowl: Hey~ *scoots closer*
Smokestrike: *pushes him away*
Windhowl: *cries*
Smokestrike: crybaby…
Also Smokestrike: *comforts him with tail anyway*
(If so how bout Halfbird? I’m sorry I really want a Jude-Cleo situation 😛)
(Sure…but we’ll need to force her to be friends because of her hate of Echomist, and the fact that you know, she’s DarkClan, but if we push enough they could probably be friends. *has no idea what Jude-Cleo is* if she can like a cat from another clan, she can probably be friends with one)
Amberclaw –
Amberclaw, the new leader. She traveled to the flooded territory and dipped her nose into the water, hoping that her ancestors would speak with her. She fell into sleep in her den in Bloodclan territory, but hated being there. She wailed herself to sleep.
That dream, her ancestors came.
The first cat, her mother. Lightstep.
“Mother…” Amberclaw stumbled.
She stepped closer.
“With this life, I give you the ability to love. Your kin, clanmates, and all cats.”
Amberclaw felt pure passion pass through her.
Her brother, Thriftpaw, was up next.
“With this life, I give you bravery. Be brave, for your clan needs it.”
She felt a strange sensation pass through her. Stronger than pain, weaker than joy.
Her mentor, Dandelionwhisker, was here now.
“With this life, I give you wisdom. Use it to make decisions for your clan.”
Amberclaw:s brain was filled, and she understood more.
Her first leader, Tinystar, appeared in place of her mentor.
“With this life, I give you energy. Energy to lead your clan,” he said.
Amberclaw felt she was running through the forest. She had more energy than anyone.
The leader disappeared.
Her sister, Bouncestep,took the place
“With this life, I give you strength. Use it when you need to help with strength.”
Amberclaw felt a strange sensation yet again, but this time undeniably pain.
Her mate, Deadwhisker appeared next.
Amberclaws heart leaped.
“Deadwhisker…” She couldn’t get the rest out.
“For this life, I give you compassion. Use it to help understand what others are feeling.”
Sadness erupted through her when her mate started to fade away.
“Goodbye, and thank you…”
Sudennly, Her two kits, Redkit and Clawkit were next.
“I give you a life of happiness,” Redkit said.
“And I give you a life of respecting all cats!” Clawkit said.
She felt two different sensations, but ignored them and nuzzled her two kittens before they disappeared.
Clawstar was the very last.
“With this life, I give you power, use it to lead your clan.”
Amberclaw felt power flow through her. All the cats appeared before her now.
“Thank you,” she said to all of them.
Clawstar steps up again.
“Now, you will use your given name by us, The Cats who Walk at Midnight. Amberstar.”
Everyone starts chanting.
“Amberstar! Amberstar!”
Suddenly, everything stops. She sees a bloodred sky, hovering over the clans. But in the midst of it, a red moon in the sky is still giving her hope. She wakes up with a start and goes to tell her clanmates.
Then, staying on the ground, she adresses two kittens.
“Blazekit, will you please step forward? You too, Ripplekit.”
~Seedkit~
Seedkit stared at Ripplekit and Blazekit, his heart flooded with joy. Despite not knowing them, he still knew that they were about to become apprentices. Seedflight sat beside him with his tail around him. Seedkit smiled and looked up at Seedflight.
(Could Seedflight be deputy of SunClan Tyrantstorm? And Seedkit be an apprentice?)
Maybe eventually, right now I dont want tk make three apprentices.
(Ripplekit)
Ripplekit came out of the makeshift medicine den. He licked the honey off his paws so nobody would notice it, and Blazekit came out from behind him. What would Amberclaw-no, Amberstar, want with us? But Ripplekit had a hope of why, something he was hoping for ever since he had opened his eyes. He found Blazekit shaking by his side, not with fear this time, but with excitement. “Yes Amberstar?” Ripplekit responded with as much dignity as he could put in his voice. He could barely keep the excitement out of it, and as he said the words he wasn’t even sure if he accomplished that.
“It has come to my notice that the two of you are six moons old. Now, do you both promise to uphold the warrior code?” She glanced at Splashfur, who was gazing proudly at her kits.
“Wait, hold on. May all cats please gather here? I have two… Important matters to decide.”
(Blazekit)
“I do!” Both she and Ripplekit responded at once. “Wait, hold on. May all cats please gather here? I have two…important matters to decide.” Amberstar meowed. Blazekit was confused. What important matters were there to decide that wasn’t already being done. Well, there’s us being made apprentices, and…wait! SunClan needs a deputy! Blazekit saw Splashfur and Irisshine watching the kits, their tails twined, their gazes filled with pride.
(By the way, Splashfur is a he. Splashfur is the father, and Irisshine is the mother)
Amberstar smiled at the two young kits.
“Then I give you two your apprentice names. Blazekit, you are now blazepaw. Copperwhisker, I trust that you will train Blazepaw as best as you can?”
Copperwhisker smiled.
“Yes, Amberstar.”
” Now, ripplekit. You seem to love the medicine den. That is why I want Mistshadow to train you. Your new name is now Ripplepaw. Now, onto more important duties. We need a deputy. Seedflight (clockit) will you accept the duty of becoming this clans deputy?
(Ummmm…I kind of wanted Ripplekit to train as a warrior. Maybe we could switch Ripplekit and Blazekit’s positions? I’d be fine if Blazekit was a medicine cat. Or maybe Ripplekit (I really need to start using his apprentice name by now) could be like Hollyleaf and realize he liked warrior training more?)
Ok blazepaw. Imagine I said Blazepaw.
(Blazepaw)
I’m going to be a medicine cat! The thought of having such an important position awed her. She saw Ripplekit touch noses with Copperwhisker. Oh! Not Ripplekit! Ripplepaw! She did the same with Mistshadow. Blazepaw still couldn’t believe she was an apprentice now! She would be able to see the world outside the camp whenever she wanted, without having to sneak out ever again!
~Seedflight~
Seedflight dipped his head in acception and said “I do” he smiled.
Wait wait wait
I always thought Blazekit was male!
Huh.
I guess I read male.
(Oof no. Blazekit is female, and Ripplekit is male)
(Smokestrike)
Smokestrike sat in the makeshift WaterClan camp. As much as she had hated being around the other clans, Smokestrike felt uncomfortable with how much the BloodClan cats who were watching them outnumbered WaterClan alone. They’d outnumber us even with all of the clans! Smokestrike soon found herself wondering how Windhowl was doing. Why had he come into the camp like that? Why did he look so scared? Had he woken up yet? Wait! She didn’t care! She couldn’t, wouldn’t, and didn’t care! Smokestrike wondered if she could go hunting. That would take my mind off of BloodClan for a bit. She headed out of the makeshift WaterClan camp and went towards the forest nearby. Maybe there would be a river or stream she could fish in.
Tyrantstar-
Tyrantstar bared his teeth at Bloodmoon. Even though he didn’t care about the other clans, he knew lilling a leader was a major offense. He leaped at her, claws unsheathed, teeth bared, and tried to bite into her neck.
~Bloodmoon~
BloodClan cats immediately leaped to her defense, Calo first. Calo easily overpowered Tyrantstar and pinned him baring his teeth as Bloodmoon slowly got up and hissed, “Listen closely Tyrantstar… BloodClan will shred you to tiny- tiny pieces…”
Tyrantstar jumped up out of Calos grasp and leaped away.
~Halfbird and Echomist and Jasper~
Echomist and Halfbird tentatively followed the she-cat, nervously glancing at each other.
Suddenly Jasper stopped. She sniffed the air, and turned around. Her amber gaze rested on the sisters fearfully.
“Run.”
Suddenly ten foxes came out of the shadows, claws unsheathed and teeth bared. Echomist crouched down, scared for the first time in her life. “Are these-”
Jasper turned around. “Yes, my dear. RUN, if you want to live.”
Halfbird almost choked. “What about you?”
Jasper stared at her sadly. “I’ll find my own way.” She turned to face the foxes. “I always do.”
“No.” Echomist stood beside Jasper. “I’ll help. Halfbird, go and find someone. Anyone!”
Halfbird dashed away, feeling guilty. She jumped anyway she could, leaping on Twoleg bins and Twoleg nest roofs. She jumped off of one, and landed beside Smokestrike.
“There are foxes – loads – and Echomist is fighting them off with an old she-cat called Jasper who won’t last very long and they need help so if we could go and help them that would be amazing please?”
(Smokestrike)
Smokestrike was shocked as Halfbird dropped down beside her. “There are foxes – loads – and Echomist is fighting them off with an old she-cat called Jasper who won’t last very long and they need help so if we could go and help them that would be amazing please?” Halfbird meowed quickly. For a moment Smokestrike was stunned, and soon she was caught in Halfbird’s panic. “Let’s go!” Smokestrike meowed before she realized what she was even saying. After what was happening sunk in, she wasn’t sure she would have said yes. Echomist was getting attacked. Echomist. The cat who attacked Pebblepaw! But Smokestrike knew she couldn’t just let her die. She remembered Pikefeather. If DarkClan had done something he wouldn’t be dead. I’m not like DarkClan! I won’t just let cats die! She’d help Halfbird and Echomist, but Smokestrike knew she wouldn’t like it. I have to, she reasoned. “Where are they?” Smokestrike asked, ready to fight.
~Claws~
Claws heard the conversation between Smokestrike and Halfbird. She flicked her tail and multiple cats ran with her, they past Halfbird and Smokestrike, following Halfbird’s fear scent.
(Smokestrike)
Smokestrike sharply inhaled to try to find where the foxes were. The smell of Halfbird’s fear-scent was overpowering, but through it she could smell something else. Not the smell of foxes, but the smell of cats. Unfamiliar cats. Dangerous cats. “Halfbird!” She called to the jet-black she-cat. “Somebody is following us!” Smokestrike didn’t stop running though. There were lives at stake if she stopped. Smokestrike saw the unfamiliar cats streak past them, running in the same direction Halfbird was going.
~Claws~
Claws and Frostbite zoomed in the lead with their other siblings, Phoenix, Bear, and Binx, behind them. “Clan cats! Stay back it’ll only take a moment for us to get them out of here, we always do!” Claws looked at Frost, Frostbite was large. About the size of a dog, of course a medium sized one, but still a dog.
(Smokestrike)
Smokestrike ignored the rouge’s order to stay back. She dashed forward and clawed at the foxes, her wounds flaring with new pain. Oops-forgot about that, she thought, gritting her teeth with pain.
~Claws~
Claws growled and leaped at a fox, she bit it’s neck and was flung off, she landed perfectly. Almost as if she’d done thins many times before, Frostbite, nearly a bit smaller than the fox, bit one’s neck and snapped it.
(Smokestrike)
Smokestrike saw how well the group of rouges could fight, and Smokestrike was glad that, at least for now, they were on the clan cat’s side. But there was something so familiar about these cats, but she wasn’t sure what. She was momentarily distracted by her thoughts, and a fox grabbed her and started shaking her, and she struggled madly trying to get free.
We need to get Smokestrike and Windhowl out on a blind date!
(Oh yeah!)
(Smokestrike: Ottersong where are you taking me?
Ottersong: just go along with it it’s the first time I’ve been mentioned in forever
Smokestrike: why are we in a weird twoleg building?
Ottersong: you’ll see….
Smokestrike: just tell me already!
Ottersong: here we are!
Smokestrike: what are these weird twoleg things….
Ottersong: it’s called a restaurant and you’ll stay here until your date arrives
Smokestrike: MY WHAT!!!
And that’s how she’d react to a blind date. She’d be even worse if she knew it was Windhowl. She’s trying to leave. Luckily Ottersong stopped her)
(YES! We should do something like that.)
(I agree uwu)
(yeah that would be great if it is ok with Clockkit and Bloompaw! Also, sorry I have been so inactive on the roleplay I will try to be mire active!)
~Halfbird~
Halfbird fought beside Smokestrike, panting slightly.
“You know, I’ve never had so much fun fighting,” she mewed while slashing a fox’s face.
(Smokestrike)
Smokestrike lashed out at the fox’s neck with her back claws, getting free from its grasp. The fox Halfbird was attacking was stunned for just a moment, so she leaped onto the fox’s back and tore into its pelt, driving her teeth into the back of its neck. “Fun isn’t exactly the word I would use…” Smokestrike mumbled. Even with the help of the rouge group, the cats were still outnumbered by the fox group and the foxes were much bigger then most of the cats.
~Halfbird~
“Yes, I’m hating it,” Halfbird replied, still focused on the foxes. “But I’ve never really enjoyed violence, so…”
(Smokestrike)
Smokestrike blinked at Halfbird, thinking of how different she was from her sister. “I never loved fighting, but I know sometimes it’s necessary.” Smokestrike responded, dodging the snapping teeth of a fox and twisting around to claw its muzzle.
~Halfbird~
Halfbird smiled at her sister. “Are you okay?”
Echomist gazed at her warmly. “You’re my friend, Halfbird. I know you would never hurt me.” What is she talking about?
“I know you would never betray me, and I know you would still love me no matter what I did.” Echomist smiled at her sister. Suddenly she leapt on Halfbird, pinning her to the ground. “What are you doing, Echomist?”
Echomist let out a long and horrible laugh. “You never get it, do you? I’m not your sister!”
Halfbird’s eyes widened. “Echomist…”
“I’m not your sister, I’m not your friend, I’m not working with you!” Echomist hissed at her. “All these years I have had to put up with you, so that I could have something that didn’t blow my cover. I was using you!”
Halfbird felt her heart shatter into thousand pieces. She was the only one that ever liked me… and now…
Halfbird flung Echomist to the side. She walked up to her. Every step almost killed her, destroying what was left of her faith, hope, and trust.
Echomist bared her teeth, springing back onto her paws. “You are worthless to me! My name is Vixen, and I will make sure that you do not win!”
“No,” Halfbird whispered, raising a claw. “You won’t win.” Halfbird struck Vixen’s throat, and who she once thought to be her sister fell to the ground, unmoving. Tears streaming down her cheeks, Halfbird walked away from the fight with the foxes. “I will win.”
(well that was a fun plot twist 😛 )
😮
(Smokestrike)
Smokestrike watched as Halfbird killed Echomist-no-Vixen. So many lies…Smokestrike thought. First Windhowl and Loststar’s other kits discovering their real mother, only for her to be Bloodmoon, and now Halfbird discovering that Vixen had been lying to her all this time. For a moment she stopped fighting, and turned to Halfbird. “Are you ok?” She asked. Smokestrike knew it was a silly question. Of course she wasn’t ok. For just a moment, Smokestrike was glad that she had no family, nobody to lie to her, but that feeling soon left.
~Halfbird~
Halfbird half-smiled at her. “Thank you. For everything.”
(Smokestrike)
Smokestrike was confused. What did she do? The only thing she had done to help Halfbird was fight the foxes. “What do you mean?” She asked
~Halfbird~
Halfbird just shook her head. “I don’t know. Just thank you.”
(Smokestrike)
Smokestrike put her tail on Halfbird’s shoulder. “I’m so sorry all of this is happening.” She meowed.
~Halfbird~
Halfbird smiled faintly. “It’s not your fault.”
“HATE TO BREAK UP THE FAMILY UN-REUNION,” mewed Jasper, “BUT WE’RE KINDA STILL FIGHTING FOXES HERE, AND IF YOU COULD HELP…”
“Oh, of course.” Halfbird starts slashing one of them.
(Smokestrike)
Smokestrike went back to fighting foxes right after Halfbird did. Smokestrike wished she knew how to comfort Halfbird, but Smokestrike didn’t have much experience in the area. She focused her mind on the fight, and was soon reminded of the pain her wounds brought. For a moment though, Smokestrike wondered. What did Vixen want from Halfbird?
(Blazepaw)
Blazepaw bounced beside her brother. They were apprentices! “What should we do now?” Blazekit asked excitedly. For some reason Ripplepaw looked slightly sad. “What’s wrong?” She asked. “Nothing!” Ripplepaw meowed quickly. Too quickly, Blazepaw thought. “Something is wrong.” Blazepaw huffed. “Tell.” “It’s just…your gonna be a medicine cat apprentice and I’ll be a warrior.” He meowed. “We won’t be able to train together.” Just then, Blazepaw remembered. Clawstar was dead, and now who would help Blazepaw fulfill the prophecy! She had to talk to Amberstar. “I’ll be right back!” Blazepaw meowed. “What is it?” Ripplepaw asked. “Important stuff.” She meowed. “Prophecy stuff.” With that she ran off to talk to Amberstar
“What is it?” She asked as she heard someone walking to her. Then she saw the new apprentice, blazepaw. “What’s wrong?” She asked blazepaw
(Blazepaw)
“Well…” Blazepaw meowed. “A while ago I had this dream, warning about great danger ahead or something, saying me and the other cats had to go to high rock and train. I told Clawstar about it and she said she had the same dream! But now….” Blazepaw trailed off, grief for Clawstar making her stop.
unless anyone shows up again I think we have to end this roleplay
Do you have any ideas on what to do?
(I’m here! I just have nothing really to respond to….)
(I’m here. I’ve just been really busy with summer school.)
