The Story Of Tonight (Reprise)
Oops- Claimed!
~Mushroompaw~
The they-cat padded into the barn, a piece of prey in their mouth. They just had successfully caught prey.
Cloudless Night accidentally ran into them.
“Oops- sorry!” He said. When he caught his mother’s glare, he fixed it, “I mean… um- is that for me?”
He knew it wasn’t for him, and he felt emmarased for saying that, but his mother would kill him if he didn’t.
~Mushroompaw~
“If you want it to be..”
He dropped it in front of him, backing up. Their fur was filled with twigs and petals.
Storm interfered, knowing Cloudless Night would mess things up.
“You keep it,” she snapped, “We don’t need to rely on little apprentices.”
~Mushroompaw~
They shrunk back, instead of picking up the prey they quickly walked away from the two, letting out a small sigh when they were out of view. Why did they think they would be safer here? They were all rejected for a reason.. other than a few who were born into it.
~Raven~
The she-rouge padded into the barn, looking around for some cat.
“Hello there.”
She spoke softly to Storm, her voice was oddly calming.
(If you don’t mind, could Raven be able to subdue Storm for a few minutes with their voice?)
“Who is it?” She snapped. She relaxed when she saw Raven. “Oh, hello.”
~Raven~
“I deeply apologize for interrupting you.. but I am looking for a they-cat.. named Mushroom? They often have twigs and petals in their fur.. and it’s always messy..”
“It’s okay,” she said, “Yeah, I just saw him.”
She didn’t say anymore, she didn’t need or want to.
Shaded Sky teleported onto Cloudless Night”s back, and he squealed in surprise.
“Get off me!” He squealed.
~Raven~
“They.. Mushroom is a they.. Thank you though.”
She padded off towards Cloudless Night and Shaded Sky
(ahh sorry)
Shaded Sky saw Raven walking towards them and sat up.
Cloudless Night stared at Raven curiously, while Shaded Sky had more of an angry glare.
(ITS OKAY)
~Raven~
“Have you seen a they-cat named Mushroom..? Twigs, petals in their fur..?”
“Yep!” Cloudless Night squeaked. “He went over there.”
Cloudless Night tilted his head to where Mushroompaw went.
~Raven~
“They.. Thank you little ones..”
She padded over to where Mushroompaw was. “Mushroom..?”
~Mushroompaw~
“Raven!”
They spun around and jumped on her in happiness. “How are you? Are you hungry? I can hunt! I promise I can!”
I’m so sorry I meant they not he
Its okay, I dont blame you!)
~Raven~
After a while, they had started to leave.. But had bumped right into..
Shaded Sky made a small snarl as Raven bumped into her.
“Watch it!” She hissed
~Raven~
“Hm.. I apologize..”
They didn’t seem bothered by her
Shaded Sky shook her head, and teleported infront of Raven.
“What have you been up to?” she asked.
~Raven~
“Just checking up on one of my children.. No need to worry young one..”
Shaded Sky snorted then walked off.
~Raven~
They sighed. Cats these days,, so snotty and angry. Mushroom won’t be like that.. hopefully.
~Mushroompaw~
They padded with another piece of prey in their jaws. THey were saddened by Raven leaving but had a spark of newfound confidence.
Storm shook her head.
Darkened Gaze! Answer now! she said in a mind message.
That little rat, ignoring me!
~Raven~
The they-cat had came back, but nobody had seen her. She padded over to Storm.
“Walk with me, please.”
“Sure,” she said in a rude way, “Where?”
~Raven~
“Just through the woods, that’s all. It won’t take long.”
Her voice was gentle and soothing like honey.
“I guess thats fine,” she said.
~Raven~
They padded out of the barn, motioning for Storm to follow
Storm followed, and her ears perked.
Darkened Gaze! she thought when she heard her message, Finally!
~Raven~
“Come along now, Whoever you’re speaking with can wait..”
Storm rolled her eyes but didn’t object. Instead, she sent Darkened Gaze a message to say she was busy and padded after Raven.
~Raven~
“I see you have a lot on your mind.. Would you like to talk about it?”
(And these two have a beautiful relationship that blossoms /j)
Storm sighed, “My plan is all that I have on my mind. And I love Darkened Gaze (it was pretty obvious she was the favorite of her three kits) but can she do her job in Devious…”
(should Raven know about Storm’s plan?)
~Raven~
“Ah.. Your plan, Yes, to take over all groups, Yes? Because you were casted out?”
(Yeah!)
“Yes,” Storm sighed, “I can’t do it without Darkened Gaze though.. is she even doing what she’s told?”
~Raven~
“Hm. She is, she’s just in a situation with a clanmate.. they seem to know the truth.”
“What?!” Storm roared, “How could she do this?”
~Raven~
“Oh but, they might not really know.. You can never know with a Deceit.”
(Mother bonding moment? /j)
(Wait so does Trickspirit know about Darkened Gaze’s plan??)
Storm sighed, “I guess you’re right..”
(Nope! He’s just lyin, theres no need for her to worry et, unless you want him to know?)
~Raven~
“Would you like me to hunt for you? You seem weary and need rest.” The two had gone into the middle of the forest that was near the barn.
~Raven~
“Would you like me to hunt? You could rest.” The two had made it to the middle of the woods. Far from the barn.
(If you want him too!)
(I think it’d be an interesting plot if he did. Then he can actually tell Darkened Gaze he knew exactly what she was planning and use it to manipulate her even more and if she didn’t believe it he could explain almost exactly what she was plannign and then she’d be freaked out and all)
“Sure..” storm muttered and sat down.
(Then its settled! He’ll know)
~Raven~
She hunted a few mice for her and Storm, bringing them back. “Would you like to yell? I heard it helps.”
“…Yell?” She said. “What do you mean?”
~Raven~
“Why, yell at someone or something. Let out all the anger and annoyance through yelling. It’s just a suggestion, although.”
“I wouldn’t know what to yell,” Storm said, “But I’ll try.”
Storm took a deep breath, and after a moment she yowled, “Betrayal! The clans betrayed me!”
~Raven~
She nodded in approval.
“And that would have made you furious.. So perhaps, if you’d like, yell everything you’d like at those who betrayed you.”
“Masterminds!” she yowled, “Don’t you think you were smart? But no! I’m coming back for you!”
~Raven~
“They best fear you. I’ve heard you’re quite dangerous. Perhaps if they stopped being so cowardly and face you like a true warrior, they’d realize that.”
(Would it be okay for these two to bond really close?)
Storm snarled in a reply, her claws digging into the earth.
(sure!!)
~Raven~
They waited a minute before gently running her tail against her side. Being careful not to have her anger directed at them.
(Yes! >:D)
Storm’s fur was bristling.
“Well, I’m thinking we need to recruit some cats. We’re obviously strong, but with others we can defeat the clans.” She growled.
(like form a cult. maybe they could be like the main threat to the others)
~Raven~
“Well I’d be honored to help out. I do believe my ability could be of help.”
(Bet!)
“What is your ability again?” she asked.
~Raven~
“I have the ability named Night Calling.”
She brought over a moss ball soaked with water.
“In case you’re thirsty after that yelling”
“Thanks,” she said and lapped the water.
~Raven~
“I apologize for taking you so long. You may return to the barn now if you’d please.”
“It’s fine,” she said and padded back to the barn.
~Raven~
She flicked her tail, backing up into the darkness and disappearing.
Storm settled down on some hay in the barn, hissing when her kits came near her.
~Mushroom~
They padded over to her, tilting their head.
“Why did Mother Raven take you with her?”
