Lavenderpool walked into her den holding some catmint.
Pebblestar trotted into the medicine den. ¨Hello there, Lavenderpool.¨ meowed Pebblestar. ¨And what are you mixing catmint for? We havent had a case of Greencough since the beginning of last year.¨
“You can’t be too careful,” Lavenderpool meowed. “Its leafall, by leafbare all the herbs will be gone. We should be prepared.”
Pebblestar shook her head. ¨Well, i suppose so. Where are our warriors, anyways?¨ she asked the medicine cat, turning her head to the empty clearing behind her.
Lavenderpool shrugged, “I might need to take an apprentice,” she meowed, “You never know when I’ll die and leave Moonclan without a med cat,”
Hmmm…¨ Thought Pebblestar. ¨Have any in mind?¨ she asked, turning to Lavenderpool again.
“nope, done at all,” Lavenderpool repiled. “All the kits are interested in being apprentices. The apprentices are all interested in being warriors and all the warriors are interested in being deputy or queens and the deputy is interested in being leader.”
¨Well, I AM due kits…¨ she murmured. ¨Maybe one of them will become the next medicine cat.¨
Lavenderpool perked up, interested, “But don’t push them into being med-cat. They must have the passion and the heart,”
¨Alright then.¨ she murmured, heading back towards her temporary den, the nursery.
“What do you want to name your kits?”Cedarkit asked Pebblestar, “because I overheard that you were expecting kits”
“Oh just talking about trying to find the next med apprentice,” Lavenderpool meowed. “How would you like to help me sort herbs?”
“Sure,why not” Cedarkit meowed(she doesn’t know what she wants to be) while plucking the dead herbs out of the pile. “Try asking some of the kits, one or two might be interested”Cedarkit added

“Do you know any?” Lavenderpool asked. “Are you interested?”
“I don’t know what to be yet” Cedarkit mewed. “Stripekit generally seems pretty quiet and calm, maybe she’d be well suited for this job”

Sunfur was up and ready for the day he walked out of the warrior den and went to Sparknettle “Any patrols for today”he asked

As she eavesdropped on Lavenderpool and Pebblestar’s conversation,Lavenderpool said

The apprentices are all interested in being warriors and all the warriors are interested in being deputy or queens and the deputy is interested in being leader.” she forgot about me. i’d love to be a medicine cat. i already know lots of stuff like alder bark is for toothaches and juniper berries are for stomach aches and breathing. Stripekit thought Then padded away.
¨Why hello there, Stripekit.¨ She murmured, then paused. ¨Lavenderpool and I had a little chat. We were talking about how there were no kits wanting to be medicine cat apprentice. Do you want to?¨ she queried, hoping the kit would say yes.
(*Everyone is hinting that Stripekit should become med apprentice*
so imma do a mini celebration here on dis post if Stripekit says yes)
~Stripekit~
“Yes!” She squeaked “I’d love to.”
¨Well.¨ Meowed Pebblestar. ¨You have reached the age to become an apprentice, so go speak with Lavenderpool about it, and if she says yes to taking on an apprentice, than i will announce it right before the gathering tonight.¨ Pebblestar felt proud. Finally, a kit that was interested in becoming the next medicine cat!
(les go peeps) Cedarkit smiled proudly at the older she-cat, realizing this was the first time anyone around her had wanted to be med cat.
Lavenderpool poked her head out of the medicine cat den, “Did I hear someone say med-cat apprentice?”
¨We are going to talk about it when we get to the gathering.¨ meowed pebblestar. ¨Now come along, Lavenderpool.¨
(Fast-forward to gathering nighttime!) ¨Ah, the night of the gathering.¨ murmured Pebblestar. She felt squirming inside her belly, and purred. The little mites will be born soon she thought proudly. ¨Alright, everyone! Let us go.¨ she led the way out into the gathering place.
Lavenderpool padded over to the other med-cats.
Scrambling onto the rock while being careful not to squish the kits, Pebblestar hopped up on the leader tree, listening for conversation.
Lavenderpool watched as an enthusiastic golden she-cat apprentice bounced around saying hello to everyone. “Lots of cats,” she muttered.
Pebblestar angled her ears, straining to hear the excited voices of the new apprentices that just came. When she realised that the other leaders were there already, she yowled. ¨Cats of all clans. Moonclan has some exciting news. We have found a kit willing to become our next medicine cat.¨ She turned to look at Stripekit, who was brought to the gathering with Lavenderpool. ¨Do you accept the job of med cat apprentice?¨
(hey weird question but would be ever travel? I mean the roleplay is called travelers at dawn :P)
Yeah, just be patient 😛

“Yes!” She squealed
¨Then if Lavenderpool allows it, Stripekit, your name shall be Stripepaw! Welcome, as a medicine cat apprentice.¨

Sunpaw bounced into the Lightclan camp, “The gathering was super cool!” she meowed to everyone who’s listening, “There were so many cats!!”
Cherrystar purred, watching the little apprentice hopping up and down ¨Wow. Thats some energy you have, Sunpaw¨
Sunpaw nodded, still jumping up and down, “Its like I can’t stop,” she meowed earnestly, “There’s just words and actions bursting out of me so fast I can’t keep up! Oooh look at that leaf, its so nice and red!”
“It is a very nice leaf,” Mottledmouse affirmed, slipping out of the camp entrance. She smiled fondly at the apprentice. She’s as excited as I was at my first gathering. She dipped her head at Cherrystar in greeting, eyes sparkling with amusement. “Nice evening, isn’t it?”
Cedarpaw(me) looked down at the two Lightclan cats(this is NOT part of rp) and smiled. “awww,these ocs are cute”she thought. Cedarpaw(me) continued surveying the clans from the sky, so far, Darkclan had been inactive.
[rainpaw (me) looked at darkclan. “Yeah we need to start roleplaying darkclan soon,”]

Echopaw was at the gathering, and there was a new medicine cat apprentice! Finally she was not the only one! Well first she would have to talk to her to become friends. And that was a problem.
