The Hug Page

The Hug Page is here. Because, whoever we are, we still need hugs. This is still the best place to come if you’re feeling sad and need a hug from BlogClan…

If you know other hotlines that provide support that are not on this list, feel free to contact a BlogTeam member to add it to this list.

Regarding replies that mention or are about religion: Generally, religion should be avoided when replying to other people to give them hugs, such as stating that you will be praying for them. However, exceptions will be made if the person asking for hugs is asking for prayers from people who practice the same religion as them or if they are open about what religion they practice. Otherwise, people who do not practice the same religion or do not practice any religion should steer clear of providing religion-related comfort if they don’t know if another BlogClanner practices a specific religion.

A note from BlogTeam: From now on, we will no longer moderate comments on the Hug Page that go into specific detail about events. Instead, commenters will post in a vague manner, such as “I’m having a bad day, I could really use some hugs”, and other BlogClanners are welcome to provide comfort and support. This change is not because of any specific event or person, but because it is extremely difficult to mitigate questionable comments and determine what parts of certain comments are suitable to moderate, as well as making sure that replies with advice are in no way harmful to the original poster or others. If you ever feel like you need advice about a serious situation, you are welcome to reach out to BlogTeam, because your health and safety is our top priority. However, no one on BlogTeam is or has ever been a mental health professional in any way, and all we can do is provide advice. We implore you to always reach out to a trusted adult or hotline (listed above) about a situation that worries you. You are still welcome to come to the Hug Page if you need any hugs or comfort from your BlogClan peers, but the cause of your distress can no longer be explained——no matter the situation. Thank you so much for understanding <3

  • I come sharing positivity. Also warning of my imminent death. Okay, maybe not death. But maybe being grounded. Which would suck.

    ONE! THE HAPPY STUFF!
I am tutoring French to some of my friends, and they are all doing very well! 😀 Also, I am catching onto irregular verbs all right, which is great because they are hard as heckles. And Baguette is the best game ever. Don’t ever doubt it. If you do I will play baguette alone and you will be the next kidnapped by the baguettes! I may or may not have a secret alliance with them. 😉 Ssshh, Fro, it will help us in the long run in this war!

    TWO! MY DEATH!
    So, I was awoken by my almost three year old sister Oceankit this morning yelling because my mom is it work all day. Anyway, I let her play some coloring game. I was falling asleep while she played it, and apparently she bought part of a game. She doesn’t have any concept of money yet, or anything like that… So now my mom is going to be mad at me. Unless I can reverse it somehow… She would still figure it out and be mad for me not telling her… 🙁 Great. Well, hopefully I don’t get grounded! Actually, hopefully it wasn’t my fault and someone helped her, or maybe my mom did. I doubt it, but I wish! Save meeee. ;-;

    • I wish I could help. Here is a cat face (maybe I don’t know if it works but if not just imagine it) 😺

    • Yikes! Parental controls! Use ’em with younger siblings. I’d recommend telling your mom. She’ll be even angrier if you try to hide it. Gather up any money you saved and pay her back. But still, thats rough!

  • I just had probably the worst field trip EVER. My class and a younger class went to see the play Seedfolks (which was great by the way) but right at the start one of the kids In my class puked all over one of my other classmates. She had it on her coat, all down here leg and on her boot. It was disgusting. On the bright side I got to see one of my friends that I haven’t seen in two years… Though one of my classmates almost pushed me into her twice. Just to clarify, this was on the LIGHTRAIL and “she/her” was the one who got puked on. It was afoul. Then after the play, one of my classmates said I was mean because I am friends with someone mean (which is partially true, the part about my friend being mean) though luckily she apologized for saying that. At least I’m about to go to the airport to get on a plane to travel to a place I have never been. If you actually read this far, thank you for reading this this… whatever it is.

      • I’m not really sure what this is either XD. Seedfolks is a play. It was played by one person for like 10 characters. It’s about Cleveland… I think… maybe… I forgot. Some city and it starts with a little girl planting beans in a abandoned lot in the middle of a run down neighborhood that is segragated. Also, the lot is full of garbage and over time people come from around the city to see this lot.

  • 3 word. SCHOOL PLAY TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Also our teacher showed us a video of a murder, he then said today that he actually showed us the wrong video as this one was ‘too violent’)

  • First day of spring break! I went to the zoo. And when I got to the gorilla exhibit, I jumped to see him and banged my head on the medal bar above my head. About 4-6 hours later still hurts! OUCH!!!

It was a silverback by the way

    • Those things are awesome
I love animals <3 (who doesnt?)
What other animals did you see? (frogs and wombats are my fave animals but everyone hates them)

Maybe you should put an ice-pack on your head. If it still hurts after that, you should tell an adult. 🙂

    • *hugs* Sorry about your head! I’m not really sure what would help… definitely tell someone if it keeps hurting. I hope your head feels better soon!

    • Awww! That’s a shame, Badger! I hope you’re feeling better now, though! (I’m awfully clumsy, so I’m prone to doing stuff like that too. 😛 )
How was your trip at the zoo??? Tell us all about it! 😀

    • Hate you? We’d never hate you! 🙂
Though I’m not entirely sure if you’re joking around or being serious. Either way, don’t sweat it! 😉
      ‘Cause I have a confession to make too . . .

(I love you, Dawny!!! 100000000000% 😘❤ ) You totally have crush on me, right? With my abs of steel and killer smile? *wink, wink* (Jokes aside, I really do love you as a friend on BlogClan, and I’m sure everyone else does as well!)

      • I’m not joking. .. 😉

        I love everyone on blogclan
        But
This person I like a but differently.
Luv ya too Dancey (I can call u that right?) 😉
I was worried people would think liking someone on here would think it’s weird and throw me out.
Yeah total steel abs bro 😛

        • Don’t you ever worry about us not liking you because of anything you say. BlogClan will always love and accept you 🙂

          (don’t steal Sunny from me >:( 😉 )

          • Haha 😛
Thank you guys for the support. I love my Blogclan family. 🙂

        • Yes, you can call me Dancey!!! 🙂 ❤
We would never dream of throwing you out! That’d be bonkers! Crushes (even online ones!) are totally normal, and I’m sure people here can even relate! So don’t worry about it! Hope everything works out good! I’m glad you have someone on BlogClan who puts a smile on your face (and butterflies in your stomach 😉 ) whenever you see them!
Also . . . I totally lied. I do not have abs of steel. Just an endless supply of flab/blubbery goodness. 😂

          • Sunny OMG
XD god I’m dying of laughter because of your description
            “Flab/blubbery goodness”

    • It’s okay! I think it’s happened before on here… hmm I’ll have to do some digging. 😛 And we wouldn’t hate you!

    • Why would anyone want to throw you out? THAT RIDICULES. (sorry if I can’t spell) There is nothing wrong with liking people.

    • We would never hate you!! Liking people is normal, and I’m pretty sure this has happened before. I mean, Blogclan is so amazing, it’s not too big a stretch to think you like one of us. 😛 I’ve had online crushes too, it’s fine. <3

  • So, this isn’t my problem, but two of my friends, Frostpaw and Bouncepaw, are on a ski trip and they have to be in a room with a really mean girl, Ashpaw ( referring to her real name). That girl has no shame and has already made two people cry. Frostpaw is literally saying ‘kill me now’. But luckily Bouncepaw has been secretly recording her and she managed to record her saying really mean stuff to Frostpaw. But anyway I hope Ashpaw gets what she deserves. But on the bright side I’m going to my best friends house, Simpaw’s, on Tuesday along with the others, so that’ll be fun.

  • Well, I ‘ave really mean parents! At School, we have gym and heart rate monnitors and in the course of the 45 min. class we’re supposed to get a total of 20 minutes of high heart rate zone. I came home and my parents asked me if i got 20 min.

Well, for me the dance unit (for Gym) doesn’t really raise my heart rate. So, I said: “No, I got 17 min.”

Then, get this, they (as in, my parents) started screaming at me and made me timeout and miss dinner. And now their ignoring me! Like I was never born, like I was never the mistake that happened to them!

So, yah. Reading Warriors and Watching youtube is really the only thing making me happy…but then my parents always ruin it for me! Saying, “Your already a failure! Have you no shame? GO AND STUDY!!!”

P.S-BlogClan is probably one of the best things that’s happened to me.

    • *hugs* I’m sorry, Amber(Is it okay if I call you that?). I don’t really have any advice, but maybe next time for gym, try to get an extra 3 minutes?

  • I’m kinda nervous and I’ve been inactive and I’m kinda nervous and I repeat myself when I’m nervous am I going to vomit I’m nervous about that and I have a tutor coming and I’m nervous about THAT and AAAHHHHH

  • Ah! I’ve been inactive on here! *huggles to all* *makes it rain cookies* 🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪

    • Welcome back! I like cookies.🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪 here are some more cookies!!!!! COOKIES. They immerse me In whatever I’m reading. Say I’m reading a warriors book 📚 then I eat a cookie then the plane of all things imaginative takes off and goes into the book then I’ll be reading for hours. I honestly don’t know what this is just saying welcome back

  • GUYS (i say that a lot)

Today Windpaw was staring at me in Math, Culteral Studies, AND Social Studies…

What does he want from me?
I gave him my Yellowfang’s Secret book to borrow. He was lucky for that i’ll tell you that

Also i need to rant about my best friend, Elkpaw

Okay so this girl in my class is madly in love with Elkpaw lets name her Fennelpaw. She stares at him, and when she dances, she makes odd facial expressions at him. Elkpaw doesnt like her and thinks shes weird. Fennelpaw hands out with the uh…i hate using this term but its the best way to describe them.
She hangs out with the “out” crowd. Not a lot of people pay attention to that group and when they do, its to bully them/ or because they HAVe to talk with them.

Elkpaw came up with a plan to make fun of Fennelpaw by giving this ring he made from an antler to another girl (one of his friends) as an act to hurt her feelings.
Elkpaw does this to Fennelpaw ALL the time

    I feel bad for her
But if this is the person shes madly in love with its not my fault shes still crushing on him when he bullies her. She just blushes whenever he does anything remotely related to her.

Windpaw used to trip me in the hallways
    and steal my things

    ALSO

One of my friends Kestrelpaw was asked to the dance by Claypaw and at the dance he asked her out
She said yes to both of those things at first to be nice, but they went on a “date” and now shes getting to like him
    I think theyre cute together
But a lot of the 7th graders call Claypaw the very bad word for a male with a significant other thats the same gender when hes not..gay. o_o

    Okay im fine now.
Thats all the news i have

    Oh
I have a bad grade in math because of state testing
    What backwards thing

I do a stupid test and i start failing
Thanks whoever is in charge of Colorado’s education department.

    • *hugs* I hope your grade improves, Dawny. If I were you, I would talk to Windpaw. I don’t really have any advice, I’m really sorry. <3 <3 <3
