The Sunning Patch

1. Firestar. He was a great introduction for the series and an amazing protagonist that the reader learned alongside.
2. Sunstar. He served a good leadership and didn’t seem to hurt ThunderClan at all, only leading them through prospering times.
3. Featherwhisker. At a young age, he had to take over the medicine den due to Goosefeather’s worsening mental state. He was kind and thoughtful, making him a great medicine cat.
4. I have to say Goosefeather. What happened to him wasn’t his fault and he wasn’t lazy or incompetent, just incredibly mentally burdened, but that doesn’t change the fact that he was a bad medicine cat.
5. NightSun. I preferred their dynamic to everything else in the series due to how it developed over the course of A Starless Clan, with them weaving through the Clan and parental drama to be with each other.
6. ThistleSpotted. Incredibly toxic and manipulative.
7. Mapleshade. For someone who only appeared alive in one book, she’s one of the most debated Warriors characters of all time. Her backstory was very well-written and so effectively open-ended that people still argue over it to this day. Very good book for a very good character, and a great backstory for a recurring Dark Forest cat.
8. Curlfeather. She was close to the protagonist and was secretly much worse of a cat than she let on, something that few suspected until it was revealed. She was a very good villain who was one of the most manipulative and intelligent in the series.
9. Loudbelly. That’s just mean. To be honest, most modern Warrior cat names are pretty bad. A name of the type Warriors uses should describe the cat to some extent. In old arcs, they did. It would be pretty easy to find “Leopardstar” or “Graystripe” in a crowd if one was new to the Clans. Nowadays, if one was new to the Clans and stumbled across SkyClan, if they got hurt, they’d be asked to see “Frecklewish” and “Fidgetflake”. The new cat would be so confused as they’re ridiculous names and not know who to go to.
