“Okay T-2319, you’ll be coming with me and the protocol droid to a detention cell.” Agent Vave then gestured for the red droid to start walking. He did, and then Agent Vave waited for T-2319 to start walking as well.
T-2319~
T-2319 calmly began walking, but inside she was quite annoyed.
A detention cell! Why is that needed?
She gave a small huff of annoyance, and then silently wished that Agent Vave hadn’t heard.

Agent Vave walked with the protocol droid and T-2319. When he saw the detention cell, he said, “Go in there, and you can wait for the interrogation to begin.” He then watched as the red droid entered and waited for T-2319 to enter as well.
T-2329~
T-2319 walked in. She reminded herself that there were plenty of Imperial people who were working to figure out who had murdered the troopers.
And yet…
The murderer could be anyone.
It could be Agent Vave himself!
While that seemed unlikely, the thought that the killer could strike anywhere, anytime, kill anyone…
it was scary.

~Agent Vave~
Agent Vave decided to interrogate T-2319 first. After all, what could a droid have done? When he opened the cell’s door he said, “T-2319, where were you doing at the time of the murders?”
T-2319~
“I was waiting for the troopers. We were supposed to go on a mission to Naboo to check out Rebels that are thought to be there.
“I asked the droid if he saw them. He said he saw troopers walking to the lifts.
And well, I found them- dead.” said T-2319.

~Agent Vave~
“Did the droid appear to be doing anything suspicious before he directed you towards the troopers?”
(Sorry for my grammar mistake earlier 😛 )
(It’s alright 😉 )

T-2319~
“No, not really. I mean, he was just standing there, but that’s a thing droids do, right…” finished T-2319.
Real smooth. Now he totally thinks JJ is the killer. I’m so bad at this.

~Agent Vave~
“You are dismissed for now, but please remain in the cell until the interrogation is complete.”
(Just a heads up, I’m going to be inactive until Friday)
(Ok.)

~Agent Vave~
Agent Vave waved for the red protocol droid to step forward. Once the droid had, Vave said, “Droid, what were you doing at the time of the murders?”
“Well, I was walking along a corridor in this Star Destroyer, when two troopers walked passed me. Shortly after that, a shadowy figure ran past me, but I assumed it was a death trooper. Then, I spotted T-2319 and decided to observe her since I noticed that she seemed to be doing something important. She asked me if I had seen the troopers she was supposed to be meeting with, and I told her about the troopers I had passed. She left to find them and came back and told me they were dead.”
Agent Vave was puzzled. Neither of the suspects appeared to be guilty, but if he had learned one thing as a cadet, it was to dig deep when investigating. He said to the droid, “you’re dismissed,” and then said, “T-2319, what was your relationship with G-3345 and K-4218?”
T-2319~
“I didn’t know them well, honestly. It was just a job.” she said.
There were no long-term friendships among the stormtroopers- only jobs. And even then they usually didn’t count on each other as friends per se.

~Agent Vave~
Agent Vave quickly tapped T-2319’s answer into his datapad. “Do you know anyone who had any arguments with G-3345 or K-4218?”
T-2319~
“No. I’m sorry. I wish I had more information, but I don’t.” T-2319 apologized.

Lucas~
Who was it? Who murdered those stormtroopers? Who would be so disloyal?
These were the questions Lucas asked himself as he paced from one end of the star destroyer to the other, thinking.
Could it have been Captain Grisol?
Probably not. She seemed very trustworthy.
Another stormtrooper? Could be.
That’s when Lucas remembered the trooper he had chosen to go on the mission to Naboo, along with the now dead troopers.
T-2319.
She HAD seemed VERY eager to go on the mission… could she have done it?
Even if she hadn’t done it, and Lucas was mistaken, he WOULD get to the bottom of this.
Could Never Be
Sorry for being inactive Turtle
It’s alright. 🙂

~Agent Vave~
Agen Vave turned to T-2319. “Very well. You are able to return to your duties now.” Agent Vave opened the holding cell. “Hey droid, get out here.” The red protocol droid obeyed and walked out of the cell. “Do you have any other information about the late troopers that I should know about?” The droid was silent. Agent Vave took this to mean it was thinking, and waited patiently.
“I do not have any information,” it said. Agent Vave sighed. He had absolutely no leads and he didn’t know where else to turn. First, he told the droid to return to maintenance and then decided to report what he had learned to Captain Grisjoi, and started walking towards the bridge.
Once he reached the bridge, he spotted Captain Grisjoi and stood off to the side, not wanting to interrupt her. A few minutes later she noticed him, and beckoned him forward. “Agent Vave,” she said, acknowledging him.
“Captain,” Agent Vave said in response. “I have found no real leads, but I do have some information about what T-2319 and J6-J4 were doing at the time of the murder.” He relayed all the information he had and fidgeted with his datapad once he was done. Captain Grisjoi was silent, and Agent Vave thought she was just going to ignore him when she said, “I do have one person in mind you could question.” Captain Grisjoi spoke into her comlink. “Lieutenant Douglas, please report to the bridge.” Agent Vave was puzzled by Captain Grisjoi’s choice. Lieutenant Douglas? What could he know about the murders?
Lucas~
Reporting to the bridge? Again? Didn’t Captain Grisol already call me to the bridge today?Lucas thought.
But he walked to the bridge anyway.
He saw Captain Grisol, and another person who looked important. Lucas didn’t know his name, though.
“Afternoon, Captain Grisol.” He gave her a nod, then waited to see what she would say.

~Captain Grisjoi~
“Hello Lieutenant,” she said, returning the nod, “I know it’s unusual for me to call you to the bridge a second time, but these are unusual times. Agent Vave here,” she gestured at the young man, “Has some questions for you about the murder.”
~Agent Vave~
Agent Vave nodded. “Yes, but I think we should go somewhere where we won’t be overheard. After all, we don’t want rumors spreading. How about we go to the detention cells? There shouldn’t be many people there.”
Lucas~
“Alright.” Lucas agreed.

Once they reached the detention cells, Agent Vave stopped and turned to Lieutenant Douglas. “Why did you pick G-3345 and K-4218 for the mission to Naboo?”
Lucas~
“G-3345 and K-4218 had proven themselves to be calm under pressure before.” Lucas explained.
“I thought they’d both do well on a mission, and I chose T-2319 because of her undying loyalty.”
Lucas paused.
“Where IS T-2319?” he asked.

~Agent Vave~
Agent Vave recorded Lieutenant Douglas’s answer on his datapad, then answered his question, “I told T-2319 that she could return to her duties. I don’t know what they are, but I assumed that she’d follow up with you.”
Lucas~
“She’s probably fine.” Lucas said. “She always seemed loyal. I don’t think she could be the murderer.”
Ivypool rocks
~Agent Vave~
“Probably not, but T-2319 is still a suspect. Now, do you know if G-3345 or K-4218 were ever involved in treasonous activities?”
Lucas~
“Well, earlier this morning they were on guard duty, and I saw they weren’t exactly paying attention. But I quickly scolded them, and they went right back to their work.” Lucas said.
Ivypool rocks
~Agent Vave~
“Were any other troopers annoyed by their antics?”
Lucas~
“Not that I’m aware of, but if you questioned more stormtroopers you’d be able to find out.”

~Agent Vave~
Agent Vave was stumped again. And he had already thought that at least a hundred times. Sure, he was exaggerating, but it definitely felt like a hundred. There was only one question he had left to ask the lieutenant, “Do you have anyone in mind that you think killed them?”
Lucas~
“As much as I hope it’s not,” Lucas said, “I have to admit that T-2319 is our biggest suspect. She was the one who found the bodies.”
Ivypool rocks
~Agent Vave~
“Thank you Lieutenant. I’ll look for T-2319 now. Just wondering, do you have any idea where she could be?”
Lucas~
“I haven’t the slightest idea,” Lucas admitted.

Agent Vave sighed internally but said, “thank you for your time.” He then set off to look for T-2319.

Lucas nodded, then walked away to return to his duties.

T-2319~
As T-2319 walked out of the room, she thought about the murder.
It had to have been the Rebels. There aren’t any other enemies of the Empire! Well, I WAS supposed to go to Naboo to search for the Rebel base… it’s not exactly disobeying orders if I go by myself…
T-2319 started walking toward the escape pods before she could stop herself.
The Rebels are obviously behind this, and I’m going to find out why. And I’ll be respected by all the higher ranks.

~J6-J4~
JJ did not want to return to maintenance. He had already been there how many times? Three? So he decided to take a detour. While walking, he spotted T-2319. “Hello T-2319,” he said, waving.
T-2319~
“Hello.” said T-2329.
Will you just keep walking? I’m trying to sneak to Naboo here! she thought.

T-2319~
I might as well tell him. Even if I don’t want to admit it, I have started to think of him as a friend, T-2319 thought.
T-2319 said, “JJ, I’m sneaking to Naboo. You were interrupting. I’m walking to an escape pod now.
“I’m certain that the Rebels we suspect are on Naboo killed those two stormtroopers.
“You’re welcome to join me, but if you don’t, do not say a word of this to Captain Grisol! Or Agent Vave.”

~J6-J4~
JJ has never heard of the option to sneak away. He was fascinated by it. “I’ll come with you, but you’ll need to show me where the escape pods are.”
T-2319~
“We just have to go down this corridor,” said T-2319.
“If anyone stops us, I’ll come up with some sort of cover story.”
Ivypool rocks
~J6-J4~
JJ nodded and walked down the corridor T-2319 had said to go down. Once he reached the escape pods, he waited for her to follow.
T-2319~
Upon reaching the escape pods, T-2319 said, “Nobody’s around. Get in before anyone walks by.” She climbed in.

~J6-J4~
JJ quickly scrambled into the escape pod and fell on his face. Embarrassed, he got up and sat down. “How do you close the hatch?” he asked.
T-2319~
“I think you twist that latch.” T-2319 said. She tried twisting it.
“Yep, that’s it. Now we just have to set the course for Naboo, and we’ll be good to go.”
Ivypool rocks
~J6-J4~
JJ set course for Naboo and was immediately forced into the back of his seat once the escape pod was ejected from the Star Destroyer. Here goes nothing.
T-2319~
“Isn’t this so exciting!” exclaimed T-2319, gazing out the window.

~J6-J4~
“Personally, I find this quite nerve-wracking.”

~Captain Grisjoi~
“Captain.” Captain Grisjoi turned around at the sound of her name. She saw an ensign standing behind her and acknowledged her, “Yes Ensign?”
“An escape pod has been launched. We scanned it for life forms and there was one on board.”
“Do you know the trajectory of this escape pod?” Captain Grisjoi asked.
“No, but it looks like it might be headed out of the system.”
“Try to contact the escape pod,” Captain Grisjoi ordered.
“Yes ma’am.” A transmission was pulled up and Captain Grisjoi was about to speak when the ensign warned, “there’s no guarantee this will reach the escape pod.”
“A small chance is better then no chance.” Captain Grisjoi then said in the transmission, “Escape pod, identify yourself and your purpose.” She then waited to see if there would be a response.
(I hope this was okay, I used an ensign just for this part)
(Yeah, it’s fine)

T-2319~
“What are we going to do?” T-2319 whispered to JJ.
“We’re going to be in so much trouble! They’ll think we’re deserters!”
Ivypool rocks
~J6-J4~
“Tell the truth? If we tell them what we’re doing they probably won’t think we’re deserters, but we might be reprimanded for setting off on an unauthorized mission.”
T-2319~
T-2319 still didn’t want to tell, but deep down she knew that JJ was right.
“Fine,” she sighed, “but you do it.”
Dovewing defender
~J6-J4~
“Very well,” JJ said in response. I really hope that was Captain Grisjoi’s voice and I’m not about to call another Imperial Captain Grisjoi.
He hesitated for a moment before he pressed the red button in front of him. “Hello Captain Grisjoi, this is J6-J4 speaking and I am currently headed to Naboo with stormtrooper T-2319.”
“On who’s authority are you doing this?” Captain Grisjoi interrupted.
“Er, our own,” JJ said nervously.
“And why would you be going to Naboo?”
“Well you see, T-2319’s mission was never accomplished, and she thinks that the Rebels killed G-3345 and K-4218, so she-I mean we think it’s appropriate to see if there’s a Rebel base on Naboo.”
“How are you even going on this mission J6-J4? Shouldn’t you have a restraining bolt?” Captain Grisjoi asked.
“Well, a restraining bolt was never put on me since in the few days I’ve been here I’ve been quite busy,” JJ said, realizing that it was quite unusual he didn’t have a restraining bolt.”
“Have you been to droid maintenance? Surely they would have put a restraining bolt on you.”
“I have,” JJ answered, “but for some reason I haven’t been given one.”
Captain Grisjoi was silent. The silence went on for about five minutes when she said, “You and T-2319 can go on your mission. But you need to report all your findings to me and Lieutenant Douglas. You will also not take the Rebels on in combat unless you find a way to contact me so I can get you in touch with Lieutenant Douglas. This was his mission after all. And expect to fully reprimanded and punished when you return. Oh, and J6-J4, expect a restraining bolt as well.”
“Yes ma’am,” JJ answered right before the transmission was cut off.
“That went better than expected,” he said to T-2319.
~Captain Grisjoi~
Captain Grisjoi was annoyed. Annoyed with J6-J4, annoyed with T-2319, and especially annoyed with whoever was in charge of droid maintenance. Why didn’t J6-J4 have a restraining bolt. She needed Lieutenant Douglas to look into that. She pulled out her comlink, taking note that that was the third time she’d contacted Lieutenant Douglas with it that day. She spoke into it saying, “Lieutenant Douglas, I need to go to droid maintenance and see why J6-J4 wasn’t given a restraining bolt.” She then awaited his answer.
Why didn’t J6-J4 have a restraining bolt?** not “Why didn’t J6-J4 have a restraining bolt.” 😛
Also, Need you to go to droid maintenance** not “I need to go to droid maintenance.” Captain Grisjoi wouldn’t tell Lieutenant Douglas about what she needed to do 😛
I’m noticing all these mistakes once my edit time is up 😛Yeah, that sometimes happens to me. The editing thing.Dovewing defender
Lucas~
Lucas was confused. “Why wouldn’t that droid have one? It should.”
Dovewing defender
~Captain Grisjoi~
“I’m wondering the same thing. Do we have a forgetful Imperial in droid maintenance? Or is there something else at play?”
Lucas~
“I hate to think that someone within the Empire did this, but it’s looking like that might be the case. Perhaps we should question everyone in droid maintenance.”
Dovewing defender
~Captain Grisjoi~
“Yes we should,” Captain Grisjoi agreed. “I’ll meet you there, and then we can begin our own investigation.”
(Should we each make someone to work in droid maintenance?)
(Yeah.)

~Agent Vave~
Agent Vave couldn’t find T-2319 anywhere. He was growing increasingly frustrated when he realized there was one person he hadn’t asked yet; Captain Grisjoi.
Once he arrived at the bridge he spotted the Captain in her usual spot. He walked calmly towards her and said, “Excuse me Captain.” Once she turned around, he said, “I cannot find the trooper T-2319 anywhere on this Star Destroyer. Do you know where she could be?”
“Actually I do, she’s on an escape pod headed to Naboo with the droid J6-J4.”
“What?” Agent Vave sputtered, not sure he had heard her right.
“Yes, she’s headed to Naboo. Why did you need to find T-2319 Agent?”
“I needed to ask her more about the murders,” Agent Vave said.
“That’s actually quite interesting, considering the fact that she’s going to Naboo to investigate possible Rebel activity there, because she thinks the Rebels killed those troopers.
And I’m sorry Agent Vave, but it appears your investigation will need to be on pause until T-2319 gets back from her mission.”
“Yes ma’am,” Agent Vave said, hoping Captain Grisjoi couldn’t tell how annoyed he was. He then turned and walked out of the bridge.
(I made a droid maintenance person.)
