I’ve got this idea for a story called Fall of the Clans, so I’m asking for background characters for it. Moonclan was the clan that I tried (and failed) to start at my school last year. I made it into a story instead. Here is a little teaser thingmajig…

So you want to become one of us? Well, it isn’t that easy, young traveler. We are clan cats, our home and beginning far from here. We were forced to unite to journey to distant lands after what happened on that fateful night. I remember every inch of our beautiful home: the heather on the lonely moors, rocking in the wind like a lullaby, the shadowed pine forests, where the distant croaks of frogs echoed through the dark, the open glades and big lake, as smooth as a mirror, surrounded by clusters of willows. And then the forest, with the leaves that crunched underpaw, weaving through trees as I ran ; if I only close my eyes, I can imagine it all again.
Not all of these cats look to me as their true leader. Their loyalties still lie with those who are gone and all that used to be. I can remember all those who we lost, silenced like the shining stars above in Silverpelt. None of them got the end they deserved. Because deep down, we all know that Starclan is truly gone and our warrior ancestors vanished. They have not communicated with me, or any of the medicine cats since the prophecy given by them. I relive that night in my nightmares. The cats that saw it first, pointing in confusion. How it came so suddenly, like the sun itself falling from the sky. It’s power that killed so many, even taking two of my lives. I only hope that we find another place to thrive as we did there.
All is not lost for the clans. I remember the day when the outsiders came. I was Hollystorm then, when Spiderstar had not yet parted with his ninth life. Raven and Storm, two rogue sisters from a big twolegplace further north. There was also Luna, a kittypet they had met along the way. They had heard of how the clans lived in honour and peace, and wished to bring this way of life to their own home. They became Ravenstar, Stormblaze and Lunalight, leader, deputy and medicine Cat of Moonclan. They left us after a while, to expand the new clan and to return home. We are travelling to join them, so we may live as a true clan again.
I am not always as confident as I seem. My heart calls me back and my paws tug me the ways I came. It takes strength not to turn my group around, to go to find our camp waiting for us. To find our families waiting for us. But I must remind myself that that is not so. Not since the great Storm Star destroyed us all…

One day, a massive explosion sets across the whole world. Nothing much is affected except for a few people.
