Feathermist – Dark blue-gray she-cat with yellow eyes. She is a secretive warrior that mostly keeps to herself. Her father was deputy when she was an apprentice and her mother was an elder with permanently damaged eyes. With both now deceased and in StarClan, she hunts and fights for her clan as any warrior would. Even though her leader has suggested she should get an apprentice, Feathermist always finds a reason to change their minds. However, as age creeps up on Feathermist, she wonders how many excuses she has left to use.

Mallowclaw – Dilute ginger tabby tom with yellow eyes and a long, thin tail. Buoyant Mallowclaw is the youngest of three and a medicine cat. As an optimist, he always manages to turn to the bright side of life even after battle. He is messy and disorganized, as most warriors note when they enter the medicine den, but he somehow provides all the necessary herbs and keeps his patients satisfied. During the half-moon meetings, all the other medicine cats treat him with friendliness. However, under that politeness lies pity, as Mallowclaw cannot communicate with his ancestors.

Tansyfern – Brown-gray tabby she-cat with heterochromia eyes. As the Clan’s deputy, Tansyfern does her best to keep all the Clan cats and patrols in check. While she is calculated, some of her opinions are controversial and therefore disliked by some of her Clanmates. She is haughty compared to her peace-loving companion and leader, and knows a potential threat when she sees one. Being previously a queen, Tansyfern is a mother to two litters of kits, one litter made of fully-grown warriors and the other apprentices. The deputy does her best to not be biased towards her kin, but she sometimes ends up doing so anyways.

Icenose – Fluffy pure white tom with pale blue eyes, a pink nose, and a missing ear. Icenose lost his ear in battle as a senior warrior, right before he became an elder. He has hearing loss, but that doesn’t stop him from interacting with the rest of his Clan. He is grumpy yet an amazing storyteller, speaking of the Clans and the Tribe of Rushing Water, where his kin are from. The kits love to nag him at sunhigh until he tells them a story, or until their mothers scold them away from the elders den. Icenose also has a companion with him, his best friend and half-brother.

Dreamshine – Calico she-cat with green eyes and a scar on her cheek. Friendly and pretty, Dreamshine is the crush of many toms in her clan, although she only has eyes for one cat; a skinny dark gray tom from a separate clan. Unfortunately, he does not replicate those feelings, so she is contemplating whether to move to his clan or stay in her own clan. She is close friends with the leader and deputy, and occasionally chats with the two when all other warriors have been sent on patrols. Dreamshine was even temporarily deputy once, until another deputy took her place. Ever since then, Dreamshine is struggling to be happy, and is instead annoyed with all the toms who keep mooning over her.

Snowpounce – Marbled gray she-cat with black stripes and yellow eyes. Previously a kittypet, Snowpounce has worked hard to earn her place in her clan as a fully-trained warrior. She is skilled at climbing and hunting but a terrible fighter, always forgetting to unsheathe her claws or the strongest battle tactics against a foe. She is often criticized for this, with her only defense being her former mentor, the closest thing she had to a biological parent. Once a rumor was brought up that Snowpounce regularly ate Twoleg food, causing cats to avoid her during patrols or even speak with her. Snowpounce could only communicate with her former mentor and, oddly, the Clan’s medicine cat. Together they found the source of the rumor, told the leader, causing for that cat to be punished. Afterwards no cat dared to talk about Snowpounce’s origins again. She was finally a warrior for real this time.
