    -News-
    Whispered Storm climbed to a crevice in the cave’s wall. She called to the Clan: ‘Any cat old enough to speak to MoonClan, gather in our camp for a meeting.’ Crying Wolf looked up, surprised, and Fallen Flight joined them, watching Whispered Storm.
    ‘I have some news to tell you.’ Whispered Storm said, shifting her tail around nervously.’
    ‘Is she going to admit to being the murderer?’ Fallen Flight gasped.
    Crying Wolf laughed. ‘No, of course not.’
    ‘I’ve actually been expecting kits for a moon and Night Hunter has finally convinced me to move into the nursery, so he’ll be taking over leadership until they’re apprentices.’ Whispered Storm said quickly. Everyone stared at her.
    ‘Thank you.’ She mumbled shyly.
    Later…
    The new leader, Night Hunter, announced a meeting for the second time that day.
    ‘I’ve thought about this since our meeting earlier, and I’ve decided on who should become our temporary deputy. I say these words in front of MoonClan, so that they may learn and approve my choice. Crying Wolf will be the new deputy of CrystalClan.’
    Crying Wolf was surprised, but the rest of the Clan seemed to be expecting them to be chosen. They yowled their name, and Crying Wolf dipped their head to Night Hunter.
