I should go on a LemKuuja listening spree again now that he’s released some new music because I HAVEN’T HEARD ANY OF HIS SONGS SINCE LIKE AUGUST 2020. 😛
(The closest things I have listened to since then are Justice, a Remute song called ‘Does Time Really Exist? (‘I Don’t Know)’ and other Future Funk music artists like Fibre. 😛 )
I know I’ve talked about him before and I mentioned this on my old ‘Boombox Kittens’ secret page, but he still looks like the really cool and chill fusion (haha, unintentional Dragon Ball Z reference 😛 )of those guys from Tuxedo & Chromeo but with a Justice-like sound.
I still freaking love him. 😛

Future Funk is a music genre similar to French House, and it’s a subgenre of Vaporwave (a music genre that started on the internet during the 2010’s). 🙂
Most FF artists make music that has a similar sound to Daft Punk (the famous French House music duo), but LemKuuja’s music sounds vastly different as he takes inspiration from Justice, a French Electronic music duo.

What music were you raised on? In other words, what music did your parents play around you when you were a small child and will forever stick with you for life?
My dad is a mega They Might be Giants fan, and he listened to their music a ton around me, so I grew up around TMBG, which is now my favorite band. He is also almost definitely going to wear a TMBG smirt sometime every week. 😀
My mother likes 60’s and 70’s music, so I grew up listening to those songs.
My dad, however, likes Gorillaz, Pink Floyd, Blondie, Madness, Johnny Cash and many more artists, so he played them whenever we travelled places. 🙂

I have some band recommendations for anyone who wants them lol. It’s mostly rock but there are others that are more pop or sea shanties ( i am kind of obsessed with sea shanties right now) so here are the bands: Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless,Dorothy, Bandmaid,Paramore, Paralandra, Liliac, The Longest Johns, Against the Current, and Blink-182
