I’ve only listened to the Hamilton + In The Heights soundtracks, but here are other musicals I’m curious about! 😀
Hello, Dolly!
In one of my favorite movies, WALL-E, the main character (WALL-E) is obsessed with it, particularly Put On Your Sunday Clothes. So naturally, I’m kinda curious about it. I honestly have no clue what it’s about though 😛
Wicked
From what I’ve heard, it sounds interesting! 😀
Dear Evan Hansen
I haven’t actually listened to the soundtrack, but I’ve heard one of the songs, Waving Through A Window, and I like it. 🙂
What do you think of these musicals? Do you think I’d like them?
I don’t know much about hello dolly but I love wicked and dear evan hansen! I always recommend giving unfamiliar soundtracks a listen, you never know what will be a pleasant surprise!
OMG I LOVE HELLO DOLLY IT’S SO GOOD
Wicked was really good too!
I’ve never listened to Dear Evan Hanson (kinda semi-overprotective sister), but I really really want to!
My top ten favorite Hamilton songs! 😀
10. Your Obedient Servant & The Reynolds Pamphlet (tie)
9. Cabinet Battle 2
8. Cabinet Battle 1
7. Yorktown (The World Turned Upside Down)
6. What’d I Miss & The Room Where It Happens (tie)
5. Guns And Ships
4. Non-Stop
3. Satisfied
2. Dear Theodosia
1. Wait For It <3
I really like the songs from Encanto! They’re all pretty good. 💚😀 My top three would probably have to be We Don’t Talk About Bruno, (favorite) Surface Pressure, (second favorite) and The Family Madrigal (third favorite) but they’re all cool! <3 🙂
The Encanto music is awesome
It really is! 🧡
Agreed 100%, the music in Encanto is the best music to ever grace my ears.
Nice! My favorite is All of you 😀
I also thoroughly enjoy the Encanto soundtrack. But you already knew that 😛
The rankings are as follows:
1. We Don’t Talk About Bruno, no, no, no…
2. Dos Orugitas
3. Surface Pressure
4. Waiting On A Miracle
5. The Family Madrigal
6. Colombia, Mi Encanto
7. All Of You
8. What Else Can I Do?
And I don’t even dislike What Else Can I Do?, just goes to show how absolutely phenomenal the soundtrack is. It’s so good, in fact, that I listen to the soundtrack daily, and We Don’t Talk About Bruno is played at least three times a day.
I will stop before I start going on an entire paragraph about why I like Encanto. Because we really don’t need that, trust me.
I really love Piragua (Reprise) from In The Heights 🧡 I’m so salty that it didn’t make the movie soundtrack; it one hundred percent deserved to >:[
Salt
Maybe it didn’t fit the vibe of the movie, or the producers had a better song to put in? I don’t know haha
Well it was in the movie itself, it was just in a post credits scene. But for the CD of the movie soundtrack, they didn’t put it in. >:[
I’m really glad Tomorrow There’ll Be More Of Us isn’t on the Hamilton soundtrack 😛 (it’s more of a scene than a song.) I wouldn’t want to cry my eyes out every time I listened to the soundtrack.
Here are my top three favorite They Might Be Giants songs! 😀
3. Erase
2. Let’s Get This Over With
1. Birdhouse In Your Soul <3
The only TMBG song I know is Particle Man 😛
LISTEN TO MOREEEE 😛
What’s your favorite album by your favorite band?
I love all of TMBG’s albums- I don’t think I could choose a favorite! ❤️ Book, Glean, Phone Power, I Like Fun, and Join Us are all so good! <3 😀
‘Discovery’ by Daft Punk! 😀
It’s a perfect experience from beginning to end, and it reminds me of my childhood. 🙂
Hmmm, probably A Strange Case Of… by Halestorm but I might change my mind when their next album (Back from the Dead) comes out because the two songs that where already released are super cool
Uhhh…
I’d say Book, Flood, I Like Fun, Join Us, and Nanobots, by TMBG! 😀
American Idiot by Green Day
But 21st Century Breakdown is great too
Due to one of my friends saying I should learn a sea shanty to play on my electric guitar I now kind of know Wellerman (yes, I know I am 2 years late to that song being popular but I have no intention of playing We Don’t Talk About Bruno or whatever else is popular now)
LEARN SOME SEA SHANTIES YES
Wait you have an electric guitar? Cool!
I found an Apple Music Playlist with 2016 hits and I’ve been drowned in nostalgia 😩
I used to wake up early every Saturday to watch the TV that showcased the music videos for the charts from 2016-2018, and I’d listen to the radio in my room make a list of the Top 20 that week in a notebook, and compare the charts week to week. When I had a second to spare, I’d check the iTunes Store charts and wonder why Shape of You was still No. 1
Even though I’m awake at 6:30 more often than not on weekends, I can’t be bothered to watch the charts anymore 😛
Anyways if anyone else remembers 7 Years by Lukas Grahman and Stressed Out by twenty one pilots, please let me know because I need someone to talk to me about my old chart obsession
Gosh, I remember those songs being overplayed on the radio 😛
I heard Shape of you about 3 times in the same 1 hour segment on the radio once 😛
Those were the days 😛
oml my radio station played shape of you every other song, and now just thinking about it I can remember all of the lyrics. 😛
I remember 7 years and Stressed Out
Has anyone listened to Madalen Duke? If not, I HIGHLY recommend her music! Especially her album Talking to myself!
My favorite band is going to drop an album on May 6th and I am very excited (the band is Halestorm and the album is Back from the Dead) Are any of y’all’s favorite bands/artists releasing any albums or songs anytime soon?
I know George Ezra is releasing a new album, and even though he isn’t my favourite, the single sounds good!
Remember last June how And So It Went by The Pretty Reckless was the most overplayed song , or is that just me
I went to listen to it, and I’ve never heard it before 😛
I didn’t even know that happened but The Pretty Reckless is a good band so I can see that happening
I’ve never heard of it before. 😛
All that I remember was playing last June was maybe a lot of Doja Cat songs, some Harry Styles, Levitating, by Dua Lipa, and basically a lot of pop stuff. 😛
How do you usually listen to music? (YouTube, CDs, Amazon Music, Apple Music, etc.)
I usually use Amazon Music, but I love listening to CDs in the car, too! 😀 I also use YouTube occasionally if I want to listen to something that’s only on Amazon Music Unlimited, which I don’t have.
Hello H2O!
I use Amazon music
Digitised CDs (CDs that I own and have had the music copied off them so I can listen to it on my phone or computer’s MP3/Music apps), YouTube (when listening to music that I don’t own yet and/or music that is too obscure for me to get), Vinyl Records (whenever I feel like doing it 😛 ) and the radio. 🙂
Apple Music!!
I used to use Amazon music, sharing an account with the rest of my family, but my mom let me get Spotify and I have my own account on it, so I use that know bc my siblings tend to make fun of my music taste and they can’t see what I’m listening to anymore
Apple music for most of the time, and Amazon music for when I don’t have my ipad and I have my Alexa near me. I also have an MP3 player that I got in 2014, and CD’s that I rarely use. 😀
I mainly use YouTube, though sometimes I’ll use Spotify, and for the Encanto Soundtrack, I listen to the physical CD.
