I haven’t watched Cruella, but I adore the music in Home Alone. Written by John Williams, the composer for Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and so many other amazing franchises, it doesn’t fail to disappoint. From the notes that play during Kevin’s realisation that he’s home alone to the stunningly beautiful music at the church, it’s all so delightful. Heck, the mainstream songs in the film are all bangers. I love the version of White Christmas used in the movie, and Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree is always awesome. And then, of course, Somewhere In My Memories. It’s not only iconic, it’s also beautiful. Overall, the music, and just the movie in general, is such a masterpiece.
I love the fact that I can easily write a paragraph about the music in a classic holiday movie but struggle with writing an essay that’s due tonight. Then again, I’ve always been more fascinated with nostalgic 90’s media than the importance of the classic tropes presented in Macbeth 😛
I haven’t even /seen/ Home Alone and I found that paragraph about its music interesting 😛

Yorktown’s in my top ten favorites! And Satisfied and Wait For It both made it into my top five. <3 The Room Where It Happens is tied with What’d I Miss as my favorite Act Two song. 🙂 My Shot’s a great one, and the King George songs are really enjoyable too. 😀
