I love Elephant by Tame Impala!
The guy who sings the song ‘Do it at The Disco’ by Gary’s Gang (which was sampled by Mr. Oizo for his song ‘Patrick122’) literally sounds like Dieter Kolb, the vocalist of Supersempfft (German music group known for their song ‘Let’s Beam Him Up’).
I know that no one will understand, know or care about what I’ve just mentioned, but the fact that a song that Dieter Kolb might’ve worked on has possibly been sampled by another one of my favourite music producers (Mr. Oizo) amuses me. 😛
It shows you that the world is smaller than you think, as well as how diverse my music tastes are. 😛
UPDATE: I just found an original EP/Vinyl Single of the Gary’s Gang song that Mr. Oizo sampled in my mother’s vinyl collection! 😀

Also, I agree with you on songs with good percussion (or baselines) like ‘We Will Rock You’ by Queen (Admit it, you slap the table to this song whenever it comes on! 😛 ) and ‘Voyager’ by Daft Punk (They made the baseline the main focus of this song, and it shows).
Oh, and ‘Around The World’ (also by Daft Punk) also has a really good baseline. 😛
I’m surprised that the song ‘With Or Without You’ by U2 is from 1987 and not 2000 or something, because it sounds really modern and contemporary. 😛
