It’s offical, my class will be listening to “Aaron Burr, Sir” for my Hamilton presentation.
Well, we got our 8th standard history, P.T.S., science and religion textbooks for next year yesterday.
And we have a new curriculum with effect from 2017. Nothing surprising there.
They’ve removed America from the history syllabus and replaced it with the Renaissance, I notice. Thank StarClan – I might have died multiple times in history next year if we had Hamilton, even though we don’t do history in English.
(and yes I know dying multiple times is medically impossible 😝)

This isn’t exactly Hamilton, but Lin helped work on it, so close enough. 😛 I just saw Moana tonight, and oh my god, it was so freaking good. 😀 The music was wonderful (of course, since Lin helped write it), it was so cool to hear Lin’s voice in one of the songs, the animation was gorgeous, the story was cool, it was just really really good. 😀 You guys should totally see it.
Also, unrelated – apparently Lin has (or had) dysgraphia, just like me! 😀 That’s just really cool to me, ’cause you never even hear about dysgraphia, and I didn’t even know what it was called or that I had an actual disability and not just general terrible hand writing until I was probably middle/high school,.. ^^

It’s a disability where your handwriting looks terrible no matter how much you try to make it neat, basically. 😛 That’s probably over-simplifying, but oh well. And my hand cramps very easily when writing. I can make my writing neat if I basically draw out each letter, but that’s way too time-consuming, and not at all practical. I’ve been typing pretty much all of my schoolwork since middle school.
