This is kind of random but it’s just funny to me so I wanted to share it. My friend is taking U.S. History this semester and they’re doing a unit on Alexander Hamilton. My friend knows I listen to Hamilton, so she keeps telling me stuff about him like, “I bet you didn’t know, but he had an affair with a woman named Maria Reynolds.” And I’m over here like, “Wow, so interesting. I never knew. Much shock. Such surprise.” While rolling around on the ground like Draco from AVPM. 😋

So there is a Hamilton discussion page! Time to talk about my current obsession! Real talk: how many of you can rap Guns and Ships? (I can. It took a great amount of practice.)

it sounds so slow when I listen to it nowI can. ^^ I still stumble over “until I make ’em drop and burn ’em up and scatter their remains,” but I can keep up with the rest of it pretty well. I probably don’t sound that great, but I can keep up with it to entertain myself singing along with it in the car. 😀
Well, Ashcloud and I can say all the words as fast as the song goes, but we’re not that good at rapping 😛

I doodled Hamilton quotes over the front of a booklet thing we had to turn in for my English class…for a major assignment. Luckily I didn’t get points taken off, but whew.

Can we talk about the mixtape? I like most songs especially Wrote My Way Out. Oh my gosh, I am dead, deceased, no longer alive. It was amazing. I also like John Trumbull, Satisfied, and Cabinet Battle 3. But I didn’t really like Helpless or Wait For It. The were just to anticlimactic and while I know it’s a mixtape, it just didn’t really “fit” in my opinion. Overall I loved it!
I dunno, I liked Wait For It. I also really liked Burn, and Immigrants (We Get the Job Done), and Satisfied. ^^
I loved Immigrants and Burn! Wait For It just didn’t seem to have as much emotion which is what I really like about the original.

Well, I deleted every Hamilton song on my mother’s phone and the laptop..
………and then I redownloaded them all in the right order with all the 46 original Broadway songs, and made a separate playlist 😛
