  • Phillip you would like it uptown. It’s quiet uptown. *sobs*

  • Love doesn’t discriminate between the sinners and the saints and it takes and it takes and it takes but we keep loving anyways we laugh and we cry and we fall and we break and we make our mistakes.

    • And if there’s a reason I’m by her side when so many have tried, then I’m willing to wait for it.

I’m willing to wait for it.

      • My grandfather was a fire and brimstone preacher (actually my grandpa is a painter :P), but there are things that the homilies and hymns won’t teach ya. My mother was a genius (she is :)), my father commanded respect (and he does…in a mathy way)…When they died, they left no instructions; just a legacy to protect.

        • Death doesn’t discriminate between the sinners and the saints, it takes, and it takes, and it takes, but we keep living anyway. We rise, and we fall, and we break, and we make our mistakes.

              • I am the one thing in life I can control! I am inimitable! I am an original!
I’m not falling behind or running late!
I’m not standing still, I am lying in wait!

                • Hamilton faces an endless uphill climb
He has something to prove, he has nothing to lose
Hamilton’s pace is relentless, he wastes no time
What is it like in his shoes?

  • All right I’m going to seriously crush my soul by listening to the soundtrack again. Please help me. *bursts out singing* 1776 New York City. Pardon me, are you Aaron Burr, sir?

          • Sir I wanted to do what you did graduate in two and join the revolution he looked at me like I was stupid I’m not stupid!

          • Sir…I heard your name at Princeton. I was seeking an accelerated course of study, when I got sort of out of sorts with a buddy of yours. I may have punched him. It’s a blur, sir.

            He handles the financials?

              • Yes! I wanted to do what you did. Graduate in two, then join the revolution. He looked at me like I was stupid, I’m not stupid!

I got shot down in the wiki chat…Goldieflight and Foxo don’t like all the Hamilton singing being done in chat…

                • So how’d you do it? How’d you graduate so fast?

It was my parents’ dying wish before they passed.

  • Let me tell you what I wish I’d known, when I was young and dreamed of glory. You have no control who lives, who dies, who tells your story.

    • I know that we can win
I know that greatness lies in you
But remember from here on in
History has its eyes on you

  • Hey, hey, hey, hey
    Oooh, I do, I do, I do, I do!
    Hey!
    Oooh, I do, I do, I do, I do, I do!
    Boy, you got me helpless!

  • What comes next?
    You’ve been freed.
Do you know how hard it is to lead?

    You’re on your own
    Awesome. Wow
Do you have a clue what happens now?

    Oceans rise
    Empires fall
It’s much harder when it’s all your call

    All alone, across the sea
When your people say they hate you, don’t
    Come crawling back to me

    —–
This is essentially what the EU is saying to Britain right now.
    We screwed up so bad.

    • I’m sorry 🙁 But hey, this song was for the American Revolution and it worked out well in the long run (if that makes you feel any better, if not ignore this) 😛

      Aaaaand…

Da da da da da, da da da da daya da da da da da da da da
Da da da da da, da da da da daya da da da da da daya daaaaaaa

      You’re on your own…

      • Also, to add to my little impromptu speech since my edit time is up:

Sometimes you just have to make the best of what happens. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Change is always hard, but it almost always leads to good things in life. I’m not saying that Britian separating from the EU was a good idea (it’s not really my place to say since I don’t fully understand the situation and I’m an American anyway) but I’m sure that, in time, some way or another, something good will happen because of this. And I would say the same thing if the EU stayed and someone was upset about that. That’s just how life is 🙂
