  • Can you put bluestripe into thunderclan maybe even as a Medicine cat? And do you know of any new thunderclan kits names you would be adding?

    • Bluestripe wold be a silver tabby with blue eyes and a long blue tail. He would be kind ,sweet and be distracted easily. But is a great hunter and likes to play with kits and help anyone in any way possible.

      I think you should just wait and see if you can make it in to the books. The authors are very busy and probably don’t have time to fit in everyone.

      It’s currently unknown, and frankly a bit to early to be thinking about that (on the editor’s part). We still have 3 AVOS books and 2 Super Editions! (Along with 3 novellas in the spring.)

      Just wait and see!

      (Personally, I hope if there is another arc, it’s back with the DOTC cats. I love them.)

      • If they make another prequel I’m hoping it will take place BEFORE DOTC because I want TigerClan, LionClan and LeopardClan. It would be so interesting to read about big cats!

  • So, we know that Scorchfur is the father of Beenose, Yarrowleaf, Rippletail(ShadowClan), Berryheart and Cloverfoot. Is he the father of the litter that Snowbird was expecting in Outcast?

      No, the litter that she was expecting in Outcast was a litter of three kits; who are unnamed. I don’t think you can possibly expect Kate to remember this.

      • Hm, I don’t remember it being specified that Snowbird got three kits from that litter. That makes me wonder if those three kits are Cloverfoot, Grassheart and Rippletail, thus making Scorchfur their father. However, you could be confusing it with the litter of three she-kits she had in Bramblestar’s Storm, which was probably Beenose, Yarrowleaf and a dead sibling.

    • ME TOO! Kate! How do you choose the BlogClanners names that go into the book? I want to do whatever I can to earn my way into one! I know you can’t use Shadowpaw/Shadowleaf, but you can use something like Shadeleaf or Darkleaf! Also is it a coincidence that Alderpaw considers Alderleaf for his full name and I suggested Alderleap and Alderleaf to you earlier? Please let it not be!

  • My ratings for the names given in TaS

    Alderheart- 7/10. A bit dry in my opinion. But good overall.

    Sparkpelt- 4/10. WHAT HAPPENDED??? I seriously wanted Sparkfire before I even knew Kate wanted it too. But we all knew it was coming. 🙁

    Yarrowleaf- 8/10. I’m actually really impressed with this one. There are three prefixes I really despise for no particular reason. Sneeze, Tree, and Yarrow. This name actually made Yarrow sound good.

    Strikestone- 10/10. I love this name. It sounds great and has alliteration too. If I was a warrior I might’ve wished for that name but I am Shadowpaw. Not Strikepaw. Oh well.

    Sleekwhisker- 9/10. I really thought Sleekpaw’s name was going to be Sleekpelt, but I was wrong. Sleekwhisker is great but I think somewhere out there, there is a name just a tiny but better.

    Juniperclaw- 5/10. I don’t know about this name. There could’ve been better ones but this one is alright. And claw hasn’t been used in some time…

    Needletail- 5/10. WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!! From the moment I read Needlepaw’s name I thought What should her warrior name be? I decided that I LOVED Needlefrost, Needlefern, and Needlestorm. I told Kate and she said that wasn’t her name. I’d been waiting for the worst. Fortunately this wasn’t. We could’ve gotten something like Needlethroat or Needlepelt. Or *cringe* Needleflower. This is definitely better than some other options, and it sounds good. But it could’ve been more creative.

    Beenose- 10/10. The second I saw this name I bust out laughing. Beenose has been and inside joke for me for a long time. Thank you so much Erin Hunters for coincidentally in TaS!

    Shadepelt- 7/10. It’s okay. It sounds great and is a good name for a minor character but I’m pretty sure its already been used in RiverClan (Shadepelt’s clan) at least once, maybe twice.

    Foxnose- 10/10. This name is awesome. It’s kind of hard to make a warrior name with the suffix ‘nose’ without it being too weird (Peanose), hilarious (Beenose), or it makes you imagine a tiny kitten (Berrynose). But Foxnose is cute and warrior-like at the same time. It’s such a good name!

    Puddleshine- ∞/10. If you can’t see it right above the 10 in that rating fraction is an INFINITY SIGN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I once saw someone suggest Puddlespots as a name on BlogClan before I joined, and it sounded so cute! The whole time I saw the name Puddlepaw I thought Puddlespots!. Then I see it. Puddleshine. PUDDLESHINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I believe this is the best warrior cat name ever. Puddleshine is a very ‘shine’ suffix kind of cat. And the name flows well. His name also makes sense. Leafpool must of chosen it because ShadowClan was going through a hard time and they needed some light to be shined upon them. I think this is the BEST warrior name EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      The authors probably don’t know. Allegiances just say “black and white she cat”.

      I have a feeling as to why you’re asking, though. It’s because of Shattered Sky’s cover, isn’t it?

      Well, I think the cats on TAS are Twigpaw and Violetpaw as kits; and the cats on Shattered Sky are Needletail and someone else. Cover cats are hard to identify. :p

        No, actually. It’s because I’m pretty sure that once in the book, she was decribed to have a white pelt and black sploches, so I was just curious. The wiki says she looks like that, too.
