    • Yeah, I heard ppl weren’t too happy with Guardians of Ga’hoole, seeing as some say it bombed. But hey, it could be great. My main concern is the rating. PG or G would SEEM like a rating for a cat’s movie (not flidea) but I’m leaning toward more PG 13. PG allows some violence like when mother gothel stabbed Flynn in Tangled but no blood. Warriors had blood, no doubt about it. And unless we want all the fights looking completely unrealitsic We may need a little blood. 13 is a likely rating, but think of the fans we’d lose because parents can’t have their kid see one drop Of blood or it might scar them for life! *heavy sarcasm*

      • I only ever read one book in that series, but honestly I thought the Guardians movie was very well done. The animation was really good, the voice actors were good. I don’t know how much of the story was changed, but the story as presented in the movie made sense and was well-told. Plus, the movie got a video game that I thought was pretty good, so maybe Warriors will get something like that. ^^

        • I’ve read all of the Guardians of Ga’hoole series, and I would say that separately from the books, I thoroughly enjoy the movie, but while the animation was stunning, its book accuracy was almost nonexistent sadly. They tried to cram three books in one movie, and while they claim it was based on the first three, it ended up as a much less epic and hopelessly inaccurate retelling of the first and MAYBE second books 🙁

        • The story was very different, but personally I loved it all the same. Something can be a good film without being a perfect adaptation, in my opinion 😛

          • I agree. For example,How To Train Your Dragon was hopelessly no comparison. There was more action in the movie than in the books, and Toothless was MUCH more impressive. He also was not toothless, which made no sense since his NAME is Toothless, but it was awesome.
            Plus Hiccup was handsome.
The only similarity between the books and the movie was the names of the characters.Other than that each was an indepentent plot. Most people dont really eben know that there ARE books.
But the movie was still good.

          • Sorry if it came off that way, but I in no means intended to say that the movie was bad, in fact, I loved the movie! I was just saying, that it fell flat in terms of book accuracy. I was most disappointed that it cut out some of my favorite parts because they were a bit gory. Still, what was put in was pretty impressive 😊

        • ….You have the Guardians Of Ga’hool video game? Sooo lucky!! I have the movie and I rlly wanna play the game 🙁

          • Haha, it’s a game for the Wii. It’s not amazing or anything, but I like to play it. ^^ You get to play as one of four different breeds of owls, you move around the Wii to control how the owl flies, and you get to fight enemies and buy sets of battle armor while completing missions.

      • Yeah I agree. And if my mom sees the movie and sees the blood and violence, I MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO EVER READ THE BOOKS AGAIN!
But I watch vet shows with real life blood. If its animated and blood that could be a sign of not be able to watch it.

  • I’m so excited 🎉🎉 I really hope they don’t mess it all up though, like leave out main characters and main parts of the plot *COUGH* The Silver Brumby (if anyone has read the books and seen the movie and know the movie is really bad, you’re my new best friend).

  • WOW! I saw videos about it last night and I was so excited! So I went onto BlogClan and saw this. I really want to hear more info about the movie.

  • I was super excited to hear the news on Twitter. I’ve been busy with school lately but my last midterm for about 2 weeks is done and I’m happy to join the discussion!
The question is what story will it tell? Will it tell the story of Into the Wild? Even though it’s the first book it also has a pretty self contained story that could be fit within a movie.
Will it be CGI or will it be traditionally animated?
Although I said Into the Wild would make the most sense for a movie, what other stories do you guys think could fit? Another vote for Into the Wild is simply that it’s a good introduction to the Clan cats, you don’t really have to have prior knowledge of the story.
I think the only story I could possibly see done is maybe Bluestar’s Prophecy, but even that one is iffy. I think it’s likely going to be Into the Wild.

      • A super edition would also be a good choice for a movie, but again you run into the problem of it’s a movie and likely people who aren’t familiar with the source material might be going to see.
For instance the Marvel movies, lots of people may read comic books but when you produce a movie you usually have to go with the origin story so that way people who aren’t fans would get the story. Plus Marvel planned that they would be making more movies and eventually tie them into the Avengers which was why it was so successful.
The reason why I said I felt Bluestar’s Prophecy rather than any of the other super editions (well maybe Tallstar’s Revenge or Yellowfang’s Secret) was because I felt that it has the beginning starting with Bluekit and building into her life story, and similar things happened in Tallstar’s Revenge and Yellowfang’s secret. The reason I left out other super editions like SkyClan’s Destiny or Firestar’s Quest, that already has an established storyline, that unless you’re a reader you wouldn’t know the story behind it.
I also left out Crookedstar’s Promise because that introduces the Dark Forest whereas I felt that the three I listed could still be movies (Although now that I think about it they do tie back at some points to the main storyline) that if done in such a way could stand on their own and tell a compelling story that even if this was your first time with Warriors, you could still watch it.
But I do think it’s much more likely to be Into the Wild. Although now that I think about it, we could see Dawn of the Clans. Since that’s a prequel series but I dunno.
I should be excited to see Into the Wild as a movie but I also feel sorta sad because people have tried to produce animations of it like SSS Warriors and it’s like, well now the authors are making it and it is amazing and everything we’d want and then they stop making their animations because there is a movie made. Or it’s going to flop and then it’s like ‘damn it the fans made something better’.
I want to see this movie made don’t get me wrong, I just have that sort of thought in the back of my head and I can’t quite let it go.

          • Long story short I’ll find it a bit bittersweet if they go with Into the Wild because SSS warrior cats were working on (or worked on if they stopped) an animation for Into the Wild, and I liked what they’d made so I’m worried the production company won’t make it as awesome as the fans did, or I’m worried they’ll stop making the animation all together (if they haven’t already).

      • It’s definitely the most likely, but at the same time, Into the Wild doesn’t wrap everything up at the end. It does come to a good enough ending, but it doesn’t bring EVERYTHING to a close. Like people would leave the theatre wondering about the conflict between Fireheart and Tigerclaw and how that’s going to go. And all the other stuff that the rest of the books pick up.
That’s why I’m not so certain it’s a sure thing because I feel like some Super Editions also tell a story but they do reach an end, to an extent at least and I’d also be down to see some of them as a movie.
Or what are the odds it’s maybe a different one off story set in the warriors world? Highly highly unlikely, but I don’t think we can really say for sure what it’s going to be.

    • Its probally going to be animated in a similar way to the movie night at the museum saying the same animation company that’s going to make this one made that movie as well. so that tells us these “Alibaba Pictures” or whoever they are have adapted a book into a movie before :D, hopefully its a good adaptation 🙂

      • you mean they’re going to make a Chinese Remake of Night at the Museum. They had no hand in the original Night at the Museum. That isn’t to say they’re not good, but they’re not THAT good.
I looked through their filmography and so far they’ve only produced one film called the Ferryman. They’ve distributed and invested in other movies but they haven’t produced anything big yet. OR at least anything that’s aired. To be honest we have no idea how good or bad they;ll be, this makes me worry a little about who is going to be able to see the Warriors Movie, since it’s being made by a smaller/newer company.
