Rusty To Firestar (SPOILERS!) by Silverbreeze

Silverbreeze explores differences in Firestar’s characteristics from back then to now

Hello! My name is Silverbreeze, and I’ll be your guide to one character we all have to know. Firestar. I’ll be speaking from Rusty to Firestar and how the differences make the BIG WORD, and that big word is for you to find out. Now, lets’a’start! First, we have the scared kittypet Rusty. Rusty started out as a weak, tiny kittypet who had a blue collar. Thats any kittypet. What was rusty? Rusty from the start was weak, sure, but now look. In the book, Into the wild, He went out in the forest, as he was going, Smudge appeared and called out to him a few words. Smudge went away, And Rusty was left alone. Great, that’s Rusty himself at the beginning.

MOVING ON: Rusty soon ventured, but a fox appeared. That weak orange tabby cat fought the fox, and he managed to get it away, that was level 2 of braveness level. He met a gray tabby with yellow eyes, His name was Graypaw. Soon Rusty wanted to join thunderclan, and he told Smudge. Smudge was sad to hear the news, but he accepted it. Rusty met Whitestorm and Lionheart and they took him to camp. LEVEL 3: Rusty was then made his apprentice name- Firepaw. But then a pale tom with black stripes battled Firepaw. His name was long tail. Firepaw moved on to a more braver level- he managed to tear off Longtails ear at such a young age. Pause. Look, Fire alone can save the clan. Star clan knew this kittypet and sent a prophecy to spottedleaf.

Now, WHO has the prefix “Fire”? Easy. Firepaw. Fighting bullies was important- and he managed to do it. Firepaw soon started his mentoring with Tigerclaw and Bluestar. Firepaw uncovered the secrets that Tigerclaw killed Redtail. Firepaw saved the clan again by moving out Tigerclaw- for the best of the clan. Firepaw and Graypaw soon became warriors. Firepaw became Fireheart and Graypaw became Graystripe. Fireheart fought rogues, Brought Windclan home (as an apprentice), He hunted for the clan.He put the clans needs first. He saved Graystripe. Fireheart became deputy. Fireheart was proud and, loyalhe still put the clan’s needs first. Eheh! It gives me chills! Wooh. Okay. Moving on to… ehh.. “Pack pack, Kill kill.” EHEH! Bluestar went in a battle to fight dogs, she jumped on one and drowned in the river. Fireheart, as deputy, tried to save her of course. But it was useless. Fireheart then became leader. He was smart and brave and he learned everything he could to be a proud leader. He had 9 lives and was pronounced the brave, powerful, Firestar. Bam. The end.

The big word? Here it is. MOVING ON. This word means from little to big, no, don’t sit on the couch and watch netflix, as much as i want to, GET YOUR LAZY BACK PART UP AND FIGHT IT. Be like a warrior or medicine cat, and live it all because one day you’ll hunt with starclan, and you’ll never regret your journey you made up and moved on with your own skills. Thanks for reading!

  • No hate, I love the article, but there are a few things wrong:
He brought back Windclan when he was a warrior
He also warded out Tigerclaw/star when henwas a warrior.

Other than that this article was. One of the best I have ever read! (Pls don’t throw a doughnut at meh)

  • You make an overall good point, but there are a few inconsistencies in the article. Rusty didn’t even really encounter the fox before he met Graypaw, he just got a glimpse of it and didn’t know what it was… Also, he did not bring WindClan back as an apprentice, he and Graystripe were young warriors at that point. Firepaw/Fireheart didn’t manage to convince Bluestar of Tigerclaw’s treachery, either, so only Tigerclaw’s treachery and not so much Fireheart’s involvement led to his expulsion from ThunderClan (though Fireheart saved Bluestar from being murdered at that point, so there’s that). The exceptions to him putting the Clan first were when he ate the rabbit he caught for Yellowfang before he fed the Clan, which he was punished for by being forced to care for Yellowfang, and feeding RiverClan when they were having fish issues. Also, I feel like the lesson we learn from Warriors isn’t necessarily that we have to leave our “comfortable” lives to be happy and fulfilled. The lesson I learned from the first series is that everyone has a place where they belong, and it isn’t always where you are now and has nothing to do with your status or blood. Just as some people born to a simple life could rise and become great, others are happiest leading simple, comfortable lives, like Ravenpaw.

  • Great Article!

But I don’t think Firestar ever saw a fox before he became an apprentice because, later on he sees a fox while hunting (I think) with Graypaw. Firepaw asked what it was and Graypaw said it was a fox. That was the first encounter of a fox.

And he started with Lionheart and Tigerclaw but then Bluestar decided to train him.

    Great Article though!

  • That was great, however there were a few details off, but, I liked reading it.
