Hello everyone! I’m here to announce the top four finalists in BlogClan’s 2017 Medicine Cat Elections!
Now before I reveal the results we’d like to thank all 29 candidates who ran. It was really touching to see how much all of you cared for BlogClan and it’s members. We hope, successful or not, you continue to share your kindness and positivity with all members new and old.
Now the moment you’ve all been waiting for…..
The four finalists that will continue into the second round of voting are:

Congrats to the finalists and all candidates! The second round of voting will commence tomorrow!

To all of you who didn’t make it to finalists:
You’re all amazing, incredible people and I’m proud how each and every single one of you performed. Everyone’s answers in Hustings were great and everyone who participated provided great spirit <3 I love each and every single one of you.
The next elections are in 2 years - which, yes, does feel like a long time but it goes by quickly, trust me - and you can try again next time. Meanwhile, just continue to be active and kind and supportive.
Remember that this is just a fun thing, it doesn't make you "better" than anybody and while it's cool to be a high position, all of you are fantastic and very very important. It may be disappointing if you didn’t make it into finalists, but I promise, at the end of the day, being deputy or medicine cat doesn’t define who you are or your importance to the Blog.
All of you are fantastic and good luck if you choose to participate in 2019 🙂

To all of the candidates – You did magnificently! So many of you would make wonderful medicine cats, I wholeheartedly believe in you. And the next elections aren’t that far away! You’ll have more opportunities, I promise. And even if you didn’t win (or, for the finalists), don’t win, guess what?
You ran.
And that takes guts. That takes courage and nerve, believe me. If you’re anything like me, it was terrifying to even think about running. But you did! You took a chance and you ran! And I am so, so immensely proud of you. Every one of you. 😀 And remember, when one door closes, another one opens. It may not be somewhere you expect, but you will find your door. I believe in you. 🙂
To everyone to who voted for me, I’m speechless. 😛 Thank you for believing in me. 😀 It means a lot to know that I have friends who have such faith in me. 🙂
Lastly, I would like to congratulate everyone who ran, finalist or not. You did spectacularly. Being a medicine cat does not define you. Your actions, words and contributions define you. You can all do whatever you want – and if you want to be an ambassador for BlogClan, if you want to be welcoming and friendly, then do it! 😀 You can do just as much as a regular member as you can as a medicine cat. 🙂 You are all wonderful, unique, talented young people, and you will all do wonderful things. 😀
