To start with, here’s my main protagonist Fireblaze.

I made a new oc recently and I adore her! <3
This is my new oc Fern. Her middle name is Sympathy (suggested by Captain).
Fern is sweet, kind, and helpful. She cares a lot about her friends and is always trying to please them. She constantly tries to make other chickens like her by doing nice things for them. She is quite shy, and can struggle with making decisions and voicing her opinion because she is afraid to offend someone, and she can also be clingy at times.
I love Fern! I find her to be a relatable character because of the way she wants to please her friends which is how I often feel, but I also just like her personality and I think she would be a really good friend to have.
Awww I relate very much to this chicken 😛 she kind of reminds me of one of my ocs Marcy, who sadly has been written out of the plot of my story but who I still love.
My twin sister ocs Sandy and Dusty:
I love these two, they’re some of my favorite ocs! Their relationship is definitely my favorite relationship among my characters. They’re inseparable and always there for each other. Sandy is more confident so she is usually the one encouraging Dusty and caring for her, while Dusty looks up to Sandy and often helps her with things. I find the bond between them adorable and very fun to write.

Sage and Basil’s relation ship in my story is somewhat similar, for a long time Basil’s the only one who Sage feels comfortable opening up to (although eventually ferris annoys her troubles out of her 😛 ), and they tell each other essentially everything and are constantly bouncing ideas of each other. They compliment each other well, with Basil’s fiery spirit and Sage’s colder, more observant nature.
They are pretty similar! I’ve noticed for a while that Sandy is kind of like Basil and Dusty is kind of like Sage. And both our pairs have matching names 😛
Sandy and Dusty tell each other all their secrets, too. There is a part in my book where Fire asks Sandy to keep a secret (the secret is something Fire and Sandy are planning to do) from everyone including Dusty, and Sandy disagrees stubbornly.
(Also “annoys her troubles out of her” 😛 that’s so funny and it reminds me of Victoria and Fireblaze’s relationship! 😛 I would seriously love to read about Ferris doing that)
I haven’t written it yet, since Ferris has just shown up in my rewritten story and at this point Sage is determined to dislike him 😛 (which Ferris finds hilarious but is equally determined to become friends with her) but once I write it I’ll share it :]
Basil & Sage’s names are somewhat a mystery, her father’s family has a history of being plant nerds but I don’t know how he convinced her mom to agree 😛 The twins have a younger brother named Kale, and their dad’s name is Oregano, although they usually call him Rio.
I’m gonna have a random unorganised rant about my cougar oc Hurricane and his relationship with his mate, Tamar, because my mind is very controversial about him XD
im being serious one day I’m like “Hurricane is great!” and the next I’m “Hurricane isawful.”So Hurricane killed his mate Tamar for vengeance after his sister died. He killed her to throw the blame on someone who was kinda the cause for his sister’s death?? Even I don’t know 😛
So he pretty much went crazy and grief took over him.
That doesn’t change any of my thoughts on him XD
I made a new oc last night! He’s a police officer.
Peachy is an oc I named after Peach- a chicken I knew in real life who sadly passed away about three years ago. <3
Peachy is shy quiet, caring, and very kind. She’s been a pretty minor character so far and I’m still looking for a bigger role for her but she’s still very special and one of my favorite characters.

how are your antagonists and what is their motive?
Here are my antagonists (them and my protagonist Fireblaze do not get along!):
Spur- my main villain. He is driven by power and also sometimes revenge.
Zita- She’s a thief and steals valuable things because she likes them and wants to have them.
Mr. McRinch- Not a villain but still counts as an antagonist. He’s Fireblaze’s and her friends’ very strict math teacher. His motive is to discipline the children and scare them into being perfectly behaved. Fire does not like him.
Here are some characters who are good and have a generally good relationship with my protagonist but occasionally take on the role of the antagonist whenever them and Fireblaze disagree: (basically the conflict in my books is often based around disagreements between two good characters rather than actual enemies)
Elderberry- She’s a doctor. She’s a good person and in many parts of my stories she’s the hero but Fireblaze sees her as the antagonist whenever Elderberry is trying to give Fireblaze a shot because, well, Fireblaze hates shots. Fire and Elderberry get along otherwise though.
Fire’s Mom: Fireblaze is very close with her mom but sees her as the antagonist when they argue. When Fireblaze’s mom scolds her, Fire gets very upset about it and often feels as if they are enemies. Fire’s Mom’s motive is to keep Fire safe and to teach Fire to be more polite and less stubborn.
ah yes, Fire’s hatred of shots would get her in tangles with the doctor anytime. (okay, but I heard they were replacing the needles with nanopatches™ so that’s good)
The main ‘antagonist’ in my story is more of an organization (the Monster hunters and their allies) than an individual person. Some individuals are:
5 shapeshifting siblings: want revenge on humanish life for wrecking earth
Occisor of the Northern Elves: a nice fellow who got stuck torturing people because his kingdom thinks the MH will win either way, knows he’s on the wrong side and hates it, just wants to end the war as soon as possible
Colton Gray and almost every other Monster Hunter: thinks he’s doing the right thing even though he’s really really not
Orpheus of the ventus: mad at his son (ferris) and family for humiliating him, selfish and stuck up, thinks he’s real great, jealous of his sister the Queen, maybe tries to overthrow her later on and switch the ventus to the winning team (my least favorite charecter >:[ )
Quinton Deveroux: on the right side, but is willing to do anything to win the war. (aka, let’s throw sage into battle even though she’s a teenager with no training.) honestly, is the most realistic when it comes to the reality of the war. is heavily influenced by the deaths of one of his children & his wife, believes if F.A.N.G had been willing to break some rules earlier on they might not have died and F.A.N.G. could have won the war. Is willing to sacrifice individuals (mostly sage) if it means winning the war.
Corvus- MH has his family captive, so anything he does isn’t really his fault. Mostly just wants to see his parents again.
In conclusion, most of my villains (with the exception of Orpheus >:[ ) are semi-decent people. (Except Orpheus, he’s just a little foxhearted piece of mousedung.)
Out of all my charecters who die, Orpheus is the only one who didn’t necessarily have to die, I just wanted him to 😛
I made a new character!
Her name is Leafshade and she’s thoughtful, kind, wise, and somewhat quiet and shy.
