The preview will probaly come out this month, because if it does not, they would be cutting it very close to it’s release.
I think that the preview came out closer to the release of DW last time…..

So around early March? The Ibooks preview of DW came around Early September 2020, and DW released in Early November 2020.
I think TPONS will have alot of things going down in it, So they won’t put out the preview for this book until as close as possible. After TPONS releases, they will most likly put out the blurb for ALITM.
Well, the blurb for ALITM probably won’t be released for a month or two after the release of TPONS to avoid spoilers for people who haven’t gotten their hands on a copy of TPONS yet.

also im really intensifying my annoyance of lionblaze as deputy
he’s just so aggressive and keeps killing cats by accident >:c
Lionblaze almost got killed himself when he kept bad mouthing about Shadowsight!
Here’s the scene:
Lionblaze flicked his ears as if he were getting rid of a troublesome fly and stretched out his neck until his nose was barely a mouse–length from Tigerstar’s. “Shadowsight betrayed all of us,” he growled. “The leaders agreed the impostor must die. But he has some kind of connection—”
He broke off abruptly as Tigerstar let out a furious yowl and leaped forward, crashing into him and bearing him to the ground. Pinned there by all four of Tigerstar’s paws, Lionblaze thrashed helplessly, but couldn’t throw him off.
“Say one more word about my son,” Tigerstar snarled, “and it will be your last!”
Rootspring thought that the ThunderClan deputy looked surprised that he had been defeated so easily. His pelt bristled with fury, and he let out a snarl of frustration as some of the ShadowClan cats stepped forward to drag their leader off, while Bristlefrost and a couple of the other ThunderClan warriors helped Lionblaze up and tried to block him from attacking Tigerstar.
Like, god Lionblaze calm down. You too Tigerstar.

Yes, he just was not fit to be in a position of power. I may or may not have been rooting for Tigerstar to win and kill him when I was reading that… 😛
That made me so happy! Someone needed to teach him a lesson

Just so you know, I‘m Featherclaw too. I‘m just not logged in right now. I‘m only logged in at school. Otherwise I‘m Featherpelt.
Here is what I think / hope is going to happen in this book:
Shadowsight will be in big trouble. Tigerstar will protect him but demote him and keep him as prisoner.
Rootspring and the Sisters will contact Spiresight and other ghosts to investigate where Ashfur is, how he gained his powers and how he cut off Starclan.
In Thunderclan, cats will not accept Lionblaze as their leader. He will not name a new deputy. Greystripe and other “wanderers” will return and help Lionblaze to come up with a more democratic way of running the clan where more cats have a say in clan decisions.
Ridden by guild Shadowsight will eat deathberries and follow Squirrel through the moonpool. He will get help from Spiresight and other dead warriors to free Squirrel and Bramble.
The book will end with them escaping and Ashfur announing an attack of the dark forest as revange.
Other things I hope will happen:
Mothwing, no longer manipulated by Ashfur will return to Riverclan and hopefully feel guilty about how she treated Shadow.
Mistystar dies and Reedwhisker takes over. As there is no connection to Starclan he will not get 9 lives and will die in the upcoming battle with the dark forest.
Flipclaw will return and have lots of exciting stories to tell and have many mollies admiring him. He will no longer care about Flywhisker.
Finleap has enough of the chaos in Thunderclan and returns to Skyclan with or without Twigbranch (I just want him to go back to his family).
RootxBristle will continue to be cute but will stay with their clans (for now). In the end Bristle will join Skyclan.
Thornclaw will not return but become a kittypet.
I agree, except for that I just wrote an entire article on why Mothwing wasn’t being bad to Shadowsight.

I agree with all of this except for the last three. I think Finleap will stay, he likes it in ThunderClan! I feel like Root will go to ThunderClan because Bristle should totally be a leader someday, but she wouldn’t be the leader of SkyClan. Thornclaw will return!
Rootspring might finally be able to spend time with his aunt, Twigbranch. That’s if he moves to ThunderClan, of course.
I do not think Thornclaw would EVER become a kitty pet. He’d just scratch of the two legs face if they tried
Looks like I was wrong about Thornclaw becoming a kittypet, but snap and fly did, surprisingly… He just card back after a week and probably become an elder now, we’ll see
I really, really want Mistystar to survive, she’s leader of my favorite Clan, kin to Bluestar and Oakheart(my favorite couple), and kin to Mosskit too! (Mooskit being my favorite warrior cat) But thats my only disagreement except Thornclaw=kittypet. His mentor(basically, since Graystripe was too busy with Silverstream), was Firestar, a former kittypet, and Firestar thinks on the kittypet life with scorn, so why would his (basically) apprentice go off and be a kittypet?

Ideas for Spotfur’s kits-
Moonkit- dappled silver she-kit with white patches, ice-blue eyes, named after time t=when moonpool was frozen, and that Moonlight blessed her.
Sproutkit- White-and-ginger tom with yellow eyes, named after Stemleaf (In hope that he will Sprout into a strong stem like Stemleaf was)

When I read this quote, I think about Shadowsight and the mistreatment he suffers at the hands of everyone else. What if it all cumulates into a breaking point in this book, where he snaps and switches sides, carrying out what Ashfur started? Then we would finally have an evil medicine cat. But what I’m worried about is that Shadowsight won’t be redeemed after turning evil. I think he will be killed off as a villain.

Here’s what I think will happen 😀
Rootspring will jump in after Squirrelflight and Ashfur and will probably end up near the Dark Forest.
Graystripe will probably return and will tell everyone about the Moonstone and that StarClan really is silent.
Ashfur will be holding all of the dead spirits and will not go unless Ashfur himself dies and goes to the Dark Forest.
Mistystar will lose her ninth life.
Thornclaw and Flipclaw will all return with exciting stories, although Flywhisker and her bro won’t.
Some of the spirits will die in the battle with Ashfur and the Dark Forest.
Shadowsight will save some cat in the battle and will become a full medicine cat again.
Cats will punish Shadowsight, not knowing that if they kill Ashfur Bramblestar will die completely.
And finally. . .
THE BOOK WILL END WHEN I AM GETTING TO THE FINAL AND EXCITING PART!!!

I find it funny how the one thing I’ve seen everyone collectively want to happen is Mistystar’s death. But to be fair, she’s ANCIENT!

Crowfeather will die T^T but will meet Leafpool and Feathertail in StarClan. Might choose to walk with Tribe of Endless Hunting to be with Feathertail.
There will be more attempts to kill Bramblestar’s body.

I wanna see Shadowsight snap in this book. It would be so satisfying for him to finally lash out at everyone in such an epic fashion. I wonder what he will say at the moment he breaks.
Why does everyone think Shadowsight is going to snap in The Place Of No Stars? I think he and Rootspring or just Shadowsight or just Rootspring will go to The Dark Forest and find Squirrelflight.
I cannot express how much I want Shadowsight to just snap and yell at everyone than go storming out of camp and hang with SkyClan or ThunderClan for a while. (So he can spend some time with Rootspring or Bristlefrost!)
