Hello! I have a whole “Au” in my head for the 8th series lol
You may of seen this already, but I’ve changeD it up a lot!
In it the clans are destroyed and like moons passed and like only a few clan cats survived and uhm including Spotfurs Kits, Lol.
I named the main one Ivy and she’s around the age of a warrior, and is a Loner. She has no hope for the clans, dismissing the story’s and fairy tails, often not believing a word. She thinks it’s all silly and useless, and enjoys her life alone as a loner, having no memory of the clans.
She soon starts to have memories. From what? It is unknown heh heh heh.
But the first thing she remembers is how the clans ended. You may think
Oh, it was Ashfur, wasn’t it.
Oh, no it wasn’t *laughs*
You see, the clans never defeated Ashfur. Due to the dark forest and starclan joining, and both are mistrusted (yes, even starclan, since they “left” the clans) the clans started to get into well…arguments. Some trusted starclan, some did not, some belived the dark forest could help, others disagreed. The clans soon got into war with each other, even in their own clans. Due to thoughts, and rules, and stuff like that, the clans disagreed. Due to some of the Warrior code, etc. They soon all killed each other, clanmate VS Clanmate, Star Vs Dark, etc. But soon enough, almost everyone was slain.
Spotfur, Due to a mother’s love, and having past experience with WORKING, not DISAGREEING with other cats, never got engaged in the fighting. No, instead she fled, taking her kits with her, to start a new life. She Knew there was no hope left for the clans…most had already died. She didn’t want to loose her kits
They are soon all separated from each other, much to Ivys dismay :(.
So basically, the clans destroyed each other.
And ashfur? He’s still out there, but he doesn’t really matter.
Due to hatred, the code, and well, the way they went most of the time.
Everything changed for Ivy after that…and let’s say, it wasn’t a good change. You may think she’d be all
“Let’s get the clans back, save the day! Because that’s what always happens, yay!”
But no, she actually had the opposite thought. She doesn’t want the clans back, at least, the clans she remembers.
They have strict rules, and often thought fighting was the only option. Many thought the life of a warrior is the only way, and any other cat is to be mistrusted, or to be wary of, just because they don’t follow the clan ways, the clan rules.
Ivy, a past clan cat…has seen the truth.
The clans are not all perfect.
She soon meets a new cat, and you may think they instantly befriend, but no, they don’t. This cats name is Bird. She’s a fun, cat loving, and most importantly, clan loving kittypet. She often runs into danger without thinking, and generally thinks that the clans are all great, due to storys she’s been told by her father, and mother, who eventually disappeared. (This will come back later)
She leaves with Ivy, much to Ivys disapproval and disgust. Sure, she respects kittypets and all, but is annoyed that the one she had to meet was a clan loving one, who didn’t know the truth at all.
Soon, she grows a soft spot for Bird, as they spend more time together, but she doesn’t let it show. She still has a small, nagging feeling of annoyance.
They soon get back to the clan land, and come across the almost dried up moonpool. They hear no voices as they pad down the path, no, instead, Bird is shown the truth. What the clans are really like. She is alarmed and shocked, and does not accept the fact at first. But slowly, She grows to accept it, and she and Ivy come to the same terms-the clans are not as perfect as they seem.
The two carry on, and they soon figure out Birds past, who is Birds mother and Father? Well… it is revealed. And it is shocking.
Ashfur and Squirrelflight. You may be shocked. There is nooo way Squirrelflight would fall in love with Ashfur…right? Wrong! She did, and turned against the clans.
I know, this seems so sudden, but it kinda all adds up. She is angry with how the clans often misjudged her, and didn’t trust her much either. For example, when they got angry with her when she came back from the quest in the 2nd Series, or, when they don’t trust her as Leader! She also heard about the rumors of how The clans sometimes considered she was working with Ashfur. So, she turned on them. She lied to Bird, so Bird would rebuild the clans perhaps. So the clans could be back, and ashfur and Squirrelflight would reveal the truth, about the clans. She’d reveal everything, and torment the clans. This may seem all evil, but don’t worry, this isn’t the huge plot.
Bird is shocked, and alarmed. Now she knows why her mother lied to her.
She does not wish to rebuild the clans to reveal the truth. Ivy is a bit shocked-not at the part where she doesn’t want to rebuild the Clans-but at the part that she doesn’t want to reveal the truth.
Bird argues back that isn’t what she meant, she just didn’t want to reveal it that way, and plus, bringing the clans back would only create trouble and more death.
They go on, not easily forgetting what they have figured out. They soon find the city cats, and the city cats tell them about the clans, how Tigerheart(Star) and Dovewing insisted they follow the Warrior way, and how they took away some of the city cats to live the “right” way. They also meet some loners, and rouges, who also share story’s and such.
Bird and Ivy soon meet another cat…Sparrow…

The three Go on, and soon get back to the original Clan land, wow. They meet WarriorClan , and soon teach them other ways instead of the “perfect” clan ways. But for some reason, some cats still follow the clan ways, as if some cat is re-teaching them…
Then, they go to the moonstone, everyone does. Seems normal…but then, Sparrow comes out…and reveals his plan. He wishes to bring the clans back…forever, and to rule them all. Bring the originals back, and keep the normal rules. He firmly thinks the life of a warrior is the only way, and any cat who would disagree should be untrusted, and killed. He wants the clans back. The normal rules back.
Ivy is shocked and torn. Her own brother…but she doesn’t let that pull her to the other side. Even though they are related by blood, she refuses to join him.
As he uses the moonstone, which he was slowly rebuilding, to bring starclan back, and it bring memories back, so more cats would think the clan way is the right way.
Ivy fights Sparrow, and ends Up killing him, by shoving him onto a shard of the moonstone. This destroys the moonstone, destroying the connection, his plan.
The cats decide that clans are not needed-a cat may enjoy the life they want. If cats want to group together, of course they can! But there will be no more clans.
Ivy reflet’s that every good thing must come to end, and not everything is as good as it is seen. She reflects on life, on the clans history, and decides it’s good that it’s over. There’s a new thing to life now. She decides to stay as a loner, and Bird decides to stay with her forever and ever
