  • Dear Kate,
can you please, please, PLEASE NOT kill Squirrelflight and make sure she gets to become leader? She’s made it this far-she MUST live long enough to get nine lives and become the next leader of ThunderClan!

  • Who is the father of Curlfeather’s kits? I know we don’t know their descriptions yet, but I think it’s Jayclaw! Since one of the kits is called Graykit, I think we can assume he’s gray, and Jayclaw is the only gray cat in RiverClan that doesn’t have a mate or isn’t related to Curlfeather!

  • Wierd, my comment just disappeared after a day or two not approved yet. Whatever, anyways I had a few questions fr Kate and I’ll ask now.

    1. If you could change the series in anyway how would you change it?
    2. If you could choose a character to be explored more who would t be?
    3. If you could choose a character to come back after we haven’t see them for a while who would it be?
    4. What is the craziest idea that was scrapped for a series or scene in Warriors?
  • since i think mistystar is a Russian Blue breed can she please please please have a russian accent!!!!!! Insert darling begging eyes here

  • Hi! Kate, I’m a big fan, and I would like to ask some questions. First, will the broken code be the last series of the warriors? And if there’s another one, will Frostkit, Mistkit, and Graykit be the main character’s? Cause there hasn’t been a single series of the warriors that take place in Riverclan. I suggest they also get some credit. Anyways, thanks. Stay safe 🙃

  • Am I the only one mad that Ashfur was the Imposter? We needed something different in the arcs but it would’ve been cooler without StarClan being gone and if the “codebreakers” went missing instead of possessing characters and still being hooked to killing the three. Also, since when was Ashfur a good fighter? Unless i’m suffering from memory loss, I don’t recall Ashfur having excellent fighting skills that were so good he killed 3 out of six cats attacking him at once AND with little injury. I also don’t remember Ashfur being lazy or wanting to be leader. UnLeSs there’s a novella I need to read.

Anyway, enlighten me fellow BlogClan members.

    • I’m not that fond of Ashfur being majorly involved in another arc, especially when AVoS was supposed to be a soft reboot of the series and welcoming to new fans (who don’t know who Ashfur is). However, I’m holding off a bit before deciding whether his arc is a good one, and i’d recommend the same for you. Maybe he trained a lot in StarClan with the intent of fighting when he got back onto normal territory. Maybe he grew ambitious after languishing in StarClan surrounded by decision-makers who were leaders and medicine cats in life. Who knows? We don’t. Not yet. :3

      • I’m mostly disappointed in the fact that he has become the villain. Ashfur was a bit desperate in TPoT but it wasn’t that severe. Yellowfang said it, all he did was love too much. I would’ve loved to give Ashfurs’ character a break. He’s been heartbroken and upset (a little physcotic honestly). And Ashfur wasn’t always the jerk he was now. I hate how hes become the psychopath here. But I have to give the Erins credit for making this arc quite unlike the others. I’m also noticing that the books always seem to somewhat revolve around Squrrielflight, though just a little bit. For example, when Ashfur attempted to kill the Three during the fire, and this current arc where Ashfur has come back. Yes Squrrielflight is important, but she doesn’t have to be a major character in every other arc. It’s true, Ashfur could have changed quite a bit while he was in StarClan but it seems weird to me that he did this all for one cat. Squrrielflight. I love Bristlefrost though, and I love how this series introduces us into a further understanding of spirits. We’re definitely exploring some Warriors lore and I’m all for it!

I do have a question for Kate though!
Will Ashfur ever have a reform? Or is this a secret that will be in the books?

        • As long as you can come to an honest conclusion about the actions of the character, there’s nothing wrong with liking them! I like Hawkfrost a lot as a character, though I certainly don’t condone his actions. :3

    • 🐅🌟Tigerpaw/shine (Tiger Dashing Under Shining Sun/Tiger Shine/Tiger) (mae/mim/mair/mairself, rav/rae/raven/ravenself, she/her/her/herself)🐅🌟 says:

I think that because Ashfur was in Bramblestar’s body, he likely was strong enough to upend three out of six attackers, like the real Bramblestar could. He could also have done a lot of training after he reached StarClan. He did not want to be leader, as far as I know, but Bramble was simply leader at the time so in order to make Squirrel suffer he took over Bramble and became fake leader. He also was in a better position of strength as leader so its possible he wanted that. And being lazy simply made Squirrelflight suffer more, so that may be why he was like that. I agree, StarClan vanishing was unnesacarry, but if StarClan found Ashfur to be trouble they could have simply warned the Clans, so its dissaperance helps the storyline. From what I know there were simply too many codebreakers to go unnoticed in the series so the authors decided to fix it by creating The Broken Code. That’s as much as I know.

  • Hey Kate!! I have some ideas of what the current Thunderclan apprentice’s names can be if you did not come up with any yet 🙂

    Flamepaw- Flametuft

    Finchpaw- Finchpool

    Baypaw- Bayclaw

    Myrtlepaw- Myrtleflower

What do you think of these names?? Also, can you please make Flamepaw and Myrtlepaw mates in the future?! I don’t know why I just find them cute together 😛

  • Hey, Kate! I was just wondering, what do the two kittypet kits in Darkness Within, Eggs and Bacon, look like? I noticed that the books never really stated that, or their genders.

  • Hi Kate,

What do you think the dynamics between Tigerstar and Brokenstar were like in the Dark Forest? It seemed Tigerstar originally had the alpha cat status, but then Brokenstar seemed to take over especially by The Forgotten Warrior/The Last Hope with regards to meetings.

How did other cats such as Mapleshade, Hawkfrost, Thistleclaw, and other more rank and file cats fit into the dynamics of the Dark Forest and who did they considered/respected as the leader/alpha cat?

    • What a complicated question. I think you can work out the subtleties of the hierarchy yourself. It’s up to the reader’s imagination to interpret our work – start interpreting! ☃️
