Do you want to help write a collective BlogClan fanfiction? Then you’ve come to the right place! This is where we can all, as a writing team, decide what the story should be, as well as assign chapters to each person! Here’s what we need to do so far:
– think of a title
– think of a plot
– assign chapters to people
– write the story
We’ll start off with thinking about a title and a plot, since the two go hand-in-hand. If anyone has any ideas, feel free to share!
Ok… a title and a plot…
– think of a plot: (Member 1) goes missing from the forests that all the BlogClan members live in. Member 2 and Member 3 are the best friends of that member. They scout the forest to no avail, but the second they come back, all of the others are gone.

Interesting, I really like it! It could lead to some really cool world building when they go looking for the members!
I was thinking a murder mystery type of story, where one of the cats gets killed and the other cats were all at the crime scene, and they have to investigate. A good title might be If You Tell, because it has that sense of mysteriousness that suits the storyline well.
Our ideas could go hand in hand!

Okay, how about this? I based it off of Freepaw’s idea! So, there are five main characters from each of the five Clans. It’s been many, many moons since BlogClan was formed, and since then, the Clan had split into the five Clans we know and love. Then, one day, a really really big storm hits, and I’m talking tornados and huge amounts of thunder. The Clans are really shaken up, and everyone goes missing. The five main characters are spread out, and they have to find each other, and everyone else. I’m pretty sure near the end of the story, they should reunite and become BlogClan again.
Does that sound good? I was thinking we could tie in things like people going inactive, since that could be a cool reference 🙂

Which one sounds better?
So I think there should be around 25 or 30 chapters, since that’s how long a normal Warriors book is. But since it’s a standalone book, it could be more like a super edition? I dunno. I’ll write the prologue, and chapter 1 if no-one wants to. Does anyone want to volunteer to write a chapter?
I could write a few, although since I’m currently bogged down with multiple projects, it’s going to take some time.

I’ll be able to help with chapter planning, artwork, etc. as I don’t really want to use any other platforms 🙂 I’d still really love to help as I adore writing! First up, who will be the main characters?
We could even create a graphic novel if people have the time! (Like TSGN!) 😛
So far, the people who have signed up to be main are Briarpaw/cloud, Freepaw/flame, Faithpaw/leap, Sparkpaw/tail, Goldenbee, and Frostwillow. I need one from each Clan, so sadly we’ll have leave one out 🙁
Luckily, all the main characters are from different Clans, except for Frostwillow and Sparkpaw, who are sadly both from ShadowClan. So, we’ll have to choose between Sparkpaw and Frostwillow. Frostwillow is a medicine cat, if that changes anything. And the one who doesn’t get to be a main character can still be an important side.
A graphic novel would be awesome! I’ll definitely keep that in mind 🙂
Ok – Maybe choose the one with the most wildly different personality to the other characters :). Maybe about 5 chapters in I could plan a graphic novel if that’s fine with you? 😛
After a while, I’ve decided that Sparkpaw would be the best fit! But Frostwillow will still be an important side character, since it felt mean to make them a flat out side character after asking to be a main 🙂

Okay, so I submitted my form on the fanfic organization form and kicked SHadowclan, so can I do SKyClan instead? Or whatever clan is available is fine? Also can I be a main too? Oh yeah, I could also help with chapter planning, that’s my specialty!
No I’m late um I could write a LOT of chapters! 😀 I tend to get a really big writer’s block after 3 or 4 chapters though 😛 Thing is who would do what? Like like how would who do wha- I mean how do we do this do we get a wiki page and paste things on do we need a planning page how do we know what happens during the chapter how will these work if we only have 10 or 20 characters ahhhh
Since google docs reveal emails and stuff, I feel like it would be best to use a wiki page! We could plan the whole thing both on this page and the wiki page. And I’ll put the storyline somewhere else, so no-one can look at the wiki page and get huge spoilers. After it’s planned, all we have to do is get people to write each chapter, and we’ll be done! (That makes it sound a lot easier than it actually is lol)
I think we’ll get more characters along the way! I want to incorporate the mods somehow, but they haven’t signed up so idk 😛

What do you think the conflict should be? Ngl I really want to be the antagonist, but I’d be fine either way 😛
I reckon the antagonist sees all these cats, alone and hungry, and
a) starts recruiting them to rebuild BlogClan, but has bad intentions or
b) starts killing them because they have been so frustrated at them for whatever reason for all these seasons.
I like option a, but I think I could tweak it a bit! I want to make it sort of like a Clear Sky situation, where the antagonist has good intentions but does terrible things but has good reasons and learns in the end. But I kinda want drama and make it so the antagonist never learns in the end, like Scourge 😛
I also kinda want to combine the two options? There can definitely be some deaths, if the Blogclanner is okay with that of course 😛 I think we could tie in inactivity this way, with deaths? I dunno, it seems like an okay-ish idea?

Hmmm, maybe the antagonist went through the same thing many moons(like the clans disappearing and being alone), and is now bitter and resentful. He takes advantage of the remaining cats, manipulating and turning them on each other, and then taking over as leader.
That actually sounds really interesting! I like the backstory idea, and it allows for lots of drama >:)

– maybe get a few more title ideas (optional)

How about we start with actually assigning chapters to people? At the same time, we can get more people to write the story and decide on a specific plot! But if you like the vagueness of the current plot, we can keep it how it is 🙂

So I remember quite a few people volunteered to help write. Does anyone want to write chapter 1? Nothing exciting should happen yet, usually books start off slow with the first few chapter being used to introduce the characters. So, you can volunteer if you like slow-paced stories I guess 😛

Alright, I guess we can decide on a detailed plot for chapter 1. I think this is the chapter where we meet everyone, nothing interesting happens yet but some suspicions arise with signs and such. What Clan should the POV be from?
So I have an idea for a more detailed plot. Four years ago, the five clan leaders met together and made a deal with “Starclan” (actually the Dark Forest in disguise.) For 13 years, the Clans would be prosperous. Prey would run well, no battles would be fought, etc. However, at the end of 13 years, they had to sacrifice one cat from every clan. But, the current clan leaders are unwilling to do this, so “Starclan” traps them in the Dark Forest. The cats that are left alive are the ones that were meant to be sacrificed, and the Dark Forest makes a new deal. If the 5 cats can bring back their clans in 3 moons, everything will return to normal and the DF will leave them alone.
Tell me what you think! Is it good?

That’s a really good idea! At the beginning, there are 5 peaceful chapters dedicated to the 5 Clans, and then at the end of chapter 5 it’s a cliffhanger where the good part starts to happen >:)

I had an idea – what if we made the story so that it didn’t have a finish? Like when new members join BlogClan and new stuff happens, we can add them and also along the way add interesting new chapters?
That’s a great idea Free! Although it would be more difficult, and we’d have to make up more sub-plots and minor characters and things like that.

does anyone want to write the prologue? the prologue could be where the dark forest cats first make their deal (i stole this from blazestrike hehe). it would have a lot of action, so if you want to write action but are too impatient to wait then the prologue is perfect for you!
also, we need someone to write chapter 1. this should be where we introduce a clan, you can choose whichever of the 5 clans you want to introduce. just use one of the main characters as the pov, and you’re good to go.

-The story begins on a dark, quiet night
-Then, the five clan leaders meet in a clearing
-“Starclan” comes to warn them that the deadline for their payment is tomorrow morning
-They discuss
-they decide not to sacrifice their cats
-“Starclan” gets mad and warns them them that their punishment will be extreme
-They shrug it off.
-Then they leave.
i like it, it’s nice and straightforward! i think the meeting should be in the prologue, since it’s kinda mysterious and it happens before the main events of the story. maybe there should be a little more action? i dunno, i kinda like how it is already.
i can write the prologue if no-one wants to. does anyone want to write the prologue? you can go with blazestrike’s storyline.
