Can’t wait to read it and not despise Onestar anymore, like when I read Tigerheart’s shadow and began to like both Tigerheart and Dovewing more.
Same, I really hate Onestar but I hope this redeems him!

Would have made sense as there does not seem to be any novels coming out this year, which I am really sad about…. Wonder what we will get instead?

I think it looks better with the red. it just matches with his pelt better
Two words: Vote. Red. Why, you may ask?
A) Because it signifies hos dark past with Darktail and his turning bad-ish after he became leader!
B) Because it matches his pelt better, like Tinylight said!
C) While blue does look good, too, it seems like a repeating theme with its color: Moth Flight’s Vision is a dark shade of blue; Crookedstar’s Promise has a deep indigo cover; SkyClan’s Destiny has a dark blue cover; Yellowfang’s Secret as a blue-ish dustcover; So, even if the blue candidate is lighter and brighter, blue is still very common in SEs, but RED on the other hand, is less common. The only two SEs with red for the main cover are Bramblestar’s Storm and Firestar’s Quest. This is the biggest reason I have: WE NEED MORE COLOR VARIETY!!!!!

i agree with you on B and C. unfortunately red lost. -_- though, i think crookedstar’s promise is more of a dark purple than indigo. but yes, blue in general is overused/overrated.

This is real. THIS IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING. We’re getting book on ONESTAR. I think this will determine the fate of the character as the fandom views him. I hope he gets a good redemption, or at least that we can get reasonable explanation on why his character went so downhill after the Mudclaw issue.

I’m excited for the release of this book! I may dislike Onestar with a passion but this may at least change my opinion on him.
Also blue looks better than red imo

I’m afraid they’re going to try and keep Whitetail as Onestar’s mate and apprentice- It’s super gross and creepy
Maybe they will do it where they are almost the same age, and right when onestar is made a warrior white tails mentor dies, and he’s the only one without an apprentice? And they right it so that it’s awkward because they are basically the same age??
I feel like that’s the only not that creepy way to do it
