Drizzledrop analyses Firestar!

Hi, it’s Drizzlepaw/drop! I am going to find the cat of the month, not based on my favorites, but based on actions. We are going to review a few cats, and this is going to take a few days to think of, so see you soon… Every month, starting the month I write this, I will write a cat of the month. Because I can’t really be sure when my article will be published, this is the cat of the month for november.
Okay, I’ve got a few. Firestar. Yellowfang. Bristlefrost. Snowtuft.
Their actions have been throughout the whole series, that is why dead cats are here. I’ll start with Firestar.
Firestar:
Firestar is a remarkable cat. He was one of my favorite cats in TPB, well, him and Sandpaw/storm were. Let’s go through a timeline of all I can remember from TPB.
First, Rusty talks to Smudge, has such a bright side to him, tells Smudge he’ll be okay. He was a great friend to Smudge.
Next, Firepaw joins the clan, he is a great friend to Greystripe and he’s kind and gentle to Ravenpaw. He has a crush on Spottedleaf, but a middle school one. Things happen, and I’m sure Firepaw was a good cat then, but I forget! XD!
After that, Firepaw gets enough info to know Tigerclaw killed Redtail. He also finds out the clan thinks Ravenpaw is a traitor, and Tigerclaw secretly wants to kill him. But at the same time, Brokenstar attacks the camp for the first time. Spottedleaf gets killed protecting kits, and after ThunderClan protects camp, ShadowClan retreats, and the clan blames Yellowfang for the missing kits and dead Spottedleaf. After that happens, the clan all stays in camp to not get attacked in low numbers. Bluestar sends Firepaw to go help Yellowfang get the kits back. Greypaw and Ravenpaw tag along, but they quickly help Ravenpaw and bring him to Barley’s farm. They rescue the kits, drive out Brokenstar, and blah blah blah.
Finally, Fireheart fetches WindClan and brings them home with Greystripe, and secretly help feed RiverClan.
I’d keep going, but I’m going to expand on other cats.
Yellowfang:
Yellowfang was grumpy, and some Yellowfang haters may only see that, but she is, overall, super kind, and would forever do things for her clan. Well, the clan she was in for the time. In ShadowClan, she wanted to be the best warrior she could, although that was impossible because of her curse. She was a good medicine apprentice under Sagewhisker. When Sagewhisker died, Yellowfang was helpful. She also handled the Raggedpelt/star problem very well. She quickly raised Runningnose so she knew when Brokentail became leader, there would be two medicine cats ready for anything. She tried to help ShadowClan and speak against Brokenstar. That got her kicked out of the clan. Then she met Firepaw, and she had a little fight with him. Then Firepaw fed her, and the clan took her hostage blah blah blah. When kits went missing, she saved them. Then, she saved Cinderpelt when she was hit by a car. Yellowfang died saving the elders from a fire in the forest. Yellowfang did lose some votes when she told Jayfeather to let Flametail die, because it wasn’t his time to die.
Bristlefrost:
I don’t think this cat is going to win. Here me out. Bristlefrost is a good cat, she saved Rootpaw from drowning, she did many good things. But she also, unintentionally, did bad things. When Bramblestar’s body was taken over, Bristlefrost found out faster than most, yet she still stayed more loyal than the rest of the clan. She spied on her clanmates to see if they were breaking the code. I know, she could have gotten in trouble for saying no to Ashfur/Bramblestar, but when she found out, she could have acted like the rest of the clan, and that most likely would have saved lives. If Bramblestar/Ashfur didn’t have a loyal cat like Bristlefrost, he may not have asked a cat to spy on their clanmates. That’s all I have for her!
Snowtuft:
I swear, for the longest time I keep calling this cat Snowbush. Odd. Anyway, let’s start. Snowtuft died during a battle, I don’t remember the details, but his backstory is not important to win cat of the month, because the Erins haven’t really expanded on that. Snowtuft is a Dark Forest cat, and he found Rootspring in the forest, and Snowtuft recognized he wasn’t supposed to be there. He helped Rootspring and Bristlefrost find were Bramblestar’s real spirit is, and he helped the three cats escape the dark forest. That’s all I can remember, but this cat saved a future generation, and he saved the leader. At least, it would have been a future generation if Bristlefrost didn’t die…
All of those cats did good things, but I’m going to cut Bristlefrost out. Sorry Bristlefrost Bristlefrost wasn’t as good as the other cats I mentioned. I’m also cutting Snowtuft out, because we don’t know much about what he did, so all I can remember is him helping the three cats out of Dark Forest. Now… this is a difficult decision. Firestar and Yellowfang were both awesome cats who did awesome deeds. Both cats died protecting their clans, Yellowfang from fire, and Firestar from the Dark Forest battle. But… the winner is Firestar! Firestar didn’t do bad things, but Yellowfang did some annoying things (and bad) in StarClan!! I hope you like being cat of the month, Firestar!
