Hi! My names Slothclaw and in this article I’m finding out who Crowfeather loved more.
Crowfeather is one of those characters tossed around with mates.
Somehow I feel bad for Breezepelt because farther went through many mates and Breezepelt just wants his farthers attention and love. It does seem like Crowfeather likes his first litter more. But in the end all he needed to do was accept his son in Windclan.
1.Feathertail
Yes it is Feathertail Crowfeather’s original love of his life and died saving the tribe from Sharptooth. Crowfeather really was really depressed when she died and could never forget what happened. It seemed as if Crowfeather was just about to ask Feathertail to be his mate because they seemed so well together.
2.Leafpool
Leafpool, mother of the three and the one who broke the medicine cat code. Leafpool and Crowfeather where mates for a couple of moons before she left him to become a medicine cat once again. I feel like they didn’t exactly belong together because if Leafpool truly loved him she would run off to Windclan with him. But she didn’t so he probably doesn’t love her as much now.
3. Nightcloud
The dark black She-Cat who Crowfeather adored mother of Breezepelt. (Warning spoiler alert of Crowfeather’s trial)! From my point of view I don’t see Nightcloud and Crowfeather as a couple. Nightcloud might seem like a good mate but she totally disrespects Crowfeather. She is mixed with sweet and sour at all times. In Crowfeather’s trial Crowfeather risks his life at the twoleg place where Nightcloud was bought. Then at the end she ditches him! After all he’s done for her.

For me I honestly think Feathertail would have made a good mate… If she hadn’t gone to Starclan though Hollyleaf, Jayfeather, and Lionblaze would have never been born which means that Tigerstar the first would have ruled the forest. But Feathertail treated Crowfeather with respect and she was like a mate to him. She never made him her rival. She just treated him with respect. But you may have other opinions and that’s fine with me but I think Crowfeather truly loves Feathertail more.

Great Article, but I disagree.
Leafpool does truly love him, the pair showed signs that Crowfeather would choose her in the last book of the Broken Code. In fact, in Enter the Clans it says:
Feathertail understood me, and she listened to me. Her eyes were the clear blue of her river home…But(listen to that “but”) then I met Leafpaw. She was patient and kind. Her voice was like water flowing over pebbles, and her scent had hints of wildflower in it.”
Then Crowfeather goes on to talk about how he struggled to hide his feelings, and how Leafpaw thanked him in a sweet, natural way. Then he says the scene about the cliff, and then he says the part that convinced me he wasn’t going to choose Feathertail:
“The future was terrifying, but we would face it together…our pelts brushing, our tails twined. Our hearts in love, forever.”
He didn’t say that about Feathertail. He just gave her a paragraph, and then for 11 more paragraphs he talks about Leafpool.
I haven’t read Broken code yet…
That right there is is Crowfeather falling in love with Feathertail the second.
Even if she does not love him more then her clan her family and the warrior code I think he does also he and she constantly think about eachother even once she’s dead read crowfeathers trial and alitm for cute and heart broken stuff
Great article, but i have to disagree. First of all, one of the Erin’s actually confirmed that if Feathertail had lived, her relationship with Crowfeather wouldn’t have worked out. Also, there was WAY too much ship teasing in Squirrelflight’s Hope and ALitM to say that he’ll choose Feathertail. Besides, she’s in the Tribe of Endless Hunting half the time and thats half the time she won’t be able to spend time with him

uh what? have we read the same books? leafpool DID love him, but her destiny was to be a medicine cat. in warrior cats, characters cant really escape their destiny, and instead must embrace it with open paws. plus crowfeather clearly loves leafpool more; feathertail is more of a school-crush while crowfeather and leafpool have, or had, a full on relationship. they both loved each other, but agreed it would be best if they split.
Remember when Crowfeather was trapped in the cave with the mountain lions? If Crow x Feather was a high school crush relationship she would have not tried to save him from the mounatin lion. Dying in order to save who you love is certainly not just a highschool crush.
But that was her destiny to save the Tribe (Ack, I sound so cringe saying that). Also, I’m quite sure it was confirmed somewhere that Feathertail would have chosen Reedwhisker instead. I also don’t know if there’s any confirmation that Feathertail loved Crowfeather back.
Just my opinion tho- Please don’t kill me or anything

But I disagree. I just like LeafXCrow better. They spent more time together.
Actually Leafpool and Crowfeather only dated each other for 2 moons and only met up 2 times before running away together. Feathertail was with Crowpaw on the journey which took at least 3 moons. They both slowly developed feelings for eachother over that time instead of randomly liking eachother like Leaf x Crow.
I agree, CrookedLarkEye. FeatherXCrow seems more healthy and meaningful. I think LeafXCrow is ok, but Crowfeather seemed happier with Feathertail.
Crowfeather actually tried to hide his feelings for awhile, so it was not rushed. They didn’t just like each other out of the blue.
And I always base my rating on ships based on how much they loved each other, not how long.
Crowfeather loved both Leafpool and Feathertail equally its just he spent more time with freathertail.

I disagree. We know Crowfeather loved Feathertail, But I’m not sure if it’s ever explicitly mentioned that she does, But I’m not sure Feathertail loves him back. I’m pretty sure the writers (I think) mentioned Feathertail would have become mates with Reedwhisker if she had lived. I mean, We know she was nice to him and all, But we don’t know (Unless I missed it) if Feathertail actually loved him.
But either way, Great article.
