Hello! My name is Willowdawn, and some of you might know me for lecturing characters I hate! Today I am going to be screaming about the worst ships in warrior cats, and why!! (in order and only canon ships)
10. FernIvy
Mostly because I hate Ivypool, with all my heart and I am quick to defend Dovewing AT ALL COSTS.
Anyway, no one ever noticed this, but Fernsong and Ivypool are actually cousins.
Fernsong’s father is Lionblaze, whose mother is Leafpool, whose father is Firestar, whose nephew is Cloudtail, whose daughter is Whitewing, whose daughter is Ivypool.

I also do not like this ship because Ivypool kinda didn’t pay much attention to Fernsongs or her kits.
9. GrayMillie
I could go on for HOURS about this ship.
Millie was very aggressive and rude to cats who tried to HELP HER, and she was really lazy and just watched as she let a beloved character, Honeyfern, die for no reason for her stupid daughter.
Then, Millie would reject all of her other kits, and when Blossomfall was HURT, she yelled at her.
And Graystripe never did ANYTHING about it.
8. SandFire
because this is a very overrated ship, because Dustpelt deserved better #DustpeltDeservedBetter, and because…
Sandstorm: Ew guys its a squishy soft fat lazy little kittypet lets pick on him because why not hes so annoying and smelly and a horrible hunter and hes weak and buts into every Clans business and hes mean and starts border fights for no reason I bet he orders mcdonalds every day helpppp
Firestar: can we kiss?
Also because Firestar was WAYYYYYY YOUNGER than Sandstorm like bro isnt it kind of wierd that youre like sixteen and a sever-year-old is crushing on you like bro thats a little odd.
7. IvyHawk
EEEEEEHHHHHHH its just hes a very very very good character that was really well-written and clever and strong, while Ivypool was selfish and whiny…those two just dont belong together. Also you cant have kits with a dead cat.
6. MothLeaf
Not that I hate lesbians it just that I don’t really like this ship, I mean Mothwing deserved someone who didn’t lie to everyone, risk it all for one boring man and get like three cats killed on the way.
5. DoveBumble
I LOVEWING DOVEWING, IM NOT SAYING I DONT LIKE HER IM JUST SAYING I DONT LIKE THE SHIP.
Anyway, Bumblestripe was very clingy and creepy around her, and everyone was pressuring her into loving her. Like bro, how would you feel if your friends were forcing you to love someone you didn’t love? Someone did a very good job of explaining this so search “defending Dovewing” and click on every single one until you find it!

Mostly because I support IceLion and because I don’t like how Cinderheart replaced Cinderpelt almost IMMEDIATELY.

TigerDove is awesome!
I don’t like every other one because the Fandom loved Silverstream, Graystripe, Millie, Crowfeather, Yellowfang, Lionblaze, Leafpool, Heathertail, Mapleshade, Appledusk, Jayfeather, etc for cross-clan romances…but hate DoveTiger? I’m confused.

Great article! However, I disagree with some of these. DoveXTiger was really toxic, and Tigerstar manipulated Dovewing and wasn’t the best to her. Fernsong and Ivypool were third cousins iirc, and Ivypool did love and care for her mate and kits, she just didn’t have the time to stay in the nursery. Also, FireXSand wasn’t like that, Sandpaw/storm fell in love with Firestar first, and they weren’t that different in age, a few moons at most.
But hey, we can each have our own opinions 🙂

Yes I totally despise FireXSand SO much, but… they were close in age. Firestar and Sandstorm were apprentices at the same time and Firestar became a warrior before Sandstorm did so.. I don’t know how they wouldn’t be at least near the same age?
Also I would Pick BrambleXSquirrel over AshXSquirrel, only because Ashfur was an obsessive maniac who.. basically became a psycho.. I mean he tried to kill Squirrelflight’s “kits” so.. I would pick Bramble over Ash any day.
Other than that, I agree with all of these 🙂

i personally think fernivy is a great ship. they are cute together. and also, they’re like, second or even third cousins. idk why but westerners just really frown upon cousin relationships… i def agree with graymillie tho, good job on the explanation. age works a lot differently with cats, tho i’m not the biggest fan of sandfire, and anyways, dustpelt fell in love with someone else. i think the fandom just hates dove-tiger because they were able to have their relationship without a cost. and i guess dove is just really annoying to the fandom. great article, with very different opinions than what i usually see. but one question, who is the ice in icelion? is it icecloud?
Great article, but I disagree with a lot of things. First of all, FernIvy are third cousins, and it is perfectly legal almost anywhere in the world to marry your third cousin. They just aren’t that related to you.
I feel like everyone unfairly judges Millie’s entire personality and all her relationships based on a tiny portion of Omen of the Stars. She could’ve handled herself way better, yes, but that doesn’t mean that she was a horrible mate at all. She was overprotective and handled herself badly in a bad situation. That’s not enough to say that she was a toxic mate or say she was an all-around bad mother. And idk what you were talking about with Millie letting Honeyfern die. Honeyfern died a noble death saving a kit. Briarkit was not stupid for letting Honeyfern save her, that doesn’t make any since. And Millie couldn’t have saved Honeyfern after she was bitten, or kept her eye on Briarkit 24/7.
SandFire was not stupid at all. Firestar didn’t just ask for a kiss, he literally saved Sandstorm’s life from falling to her death in a gorge. And Firestar was half a year younger than Sandstorm at absolute most. They were apprentices at the same time, and they became warriors at almost the same time. That age gap is not at all comparable to a sixteen year old and a seven year old being mates. They weren’t even mates until a decent while after they were both warriors.
Ivypool was not selfish and whiny. Sure, she was a bit jealous and wanted attention, but then she risked her life for her Clan every day in her dreams and hardly complained about it. And she is clearly loyal and mature other than her spite for DoveTiger. I don’t ship Ivypool and Hawkfrost either, but for different reasons. And kits aren’t everything about a relationship.
I don’t even know what your talking about with Mothpool. Leafpool didn’t get anyone killed, she just fell in love, and it happened to be against the Warrior Code. Leafpool loved Crowfeather, and that doesn’t mean that she’s a horrible cat.
I somewhat agree with what you said with DoveBumble, but Cinderheart and Rosepetal weren’t forcing Dovewing to be with Bumblestripe, they were just advising her to give Bumblestripe a chance. And sure, Bumblestripe soon turned out to be a bad mate, but Dovewing was right to at least give him a chance.
I really am not sure what you are talking about with LionCinder. But with the thing about the cross-Clan ships, a lot of the ships you said were bad were actually really good in my opinion. And I do like DoveTiger.

There was a whole thing in Omen of the Stars where Berrynose sad that he still thought about Honeyfern every day, just didn’t show it because he also loved Poppyfrost. Truly Berrynose loved them both.
i hate millie so much oh my gosh– she is horrible to her kits like you mentioned before and it drives me up the wall. berrypoppy is definitely one of the worsts like hello????
Great article! But I disagree with a few of your points. In number seven you said ‘Also you can’t have kits with a dead cat.’ Not every she-cat needs to have kits. Also I hate TigerxDove. Although I completely agree with PoppyxBerry, HoneyxBerry is so much better. In my opinion IvyxFern is a pretty good ship. But I totally agree with your points about GreyxMillie.
