hi I’m blazestar the founder of blazeclan!! and I’m here to share my 10 least favorite warrior cats! so sit back and enjoy my first article as a member of blogclan.
10. jake- yes I don’t like firestar’s dad shocking right. here’s why I don’t like him: he’s scrouge’s dad too. he left firestar alone with his mother and littermates. there I got it out.
9. nightheart- yup from starless clan.(spoilers) he left thunder clan for sunbeam. he didn’t take a name given to him by sparkpelt and he is a black cat(also one of my oc’s names is nightsky/ nightstar so how does that work out?)
8.dustpelt- yeah he may be ferncloud’s mate but I absolutely hate him. he bans birchfall from the family along with dovewing. he was rude to firestar when they were paws. and almost ruined firexsand.
7.yellowfang- its not just her name. she killed her son. shes so predictable. she tried to kill firestar and that would have led to the destruction of the prophecy as we know it.
6.stormfur 1- I just hate bluestar’s dad ok. he went out of camp when he was very ill. leaving young spottedpaw to look for him with her mentor at the time(she was a warrior) he’s just so stubborn.
5.bluestar- shes insane. shes the cat who gave up her kits leading to stonefur’s perish when tigerstar took over riverclan. she had mental issues and she chose a cat that tried to kill her even though firestar warned her.
4.leafpool- shes a rat what can I say. she had kits. shes the cause to cinderpelt’s death and bristlefrost too. she was very boring. (I actually skipped the chapters with her pov) and she didn’t even try to live after the rock-slide.
3.daisy- sorry daisy lovers. shes just a queen. she sits around all day and does nothing at all. very fussy over the kits and what they do.
2.appledusk- read maple shades vengance before you comment. he blamed mapleshade for the death of their kits. mated with reedshine who had shellfur who had crookedstar and oakheart etc.
1.tigerstar 1- here he is my most hated. he tried to kill firestar and bluestar. his son is hawkfrost who tried to kill firestar and bramblestar. he almost killed sandstorm. and the horror he killed spottedleaf!
so that was my top 10 least

Yellowfang killed her son because that son was Brokentail, the most evil cat in the forest, and she couldn’t hurt a fly after she was driven out due to sickness and hunger. I will say though that her post-arc-one self was not my favorite version of her.
Leafpool wasn’t the cause of Cinderpelt’s and Bristlefrost’s deaths. Cinderpelt was killed by badgers and Bristlefrost drowned in the blood-mud. (Blud? Mood?)
Appledusk, while definitely a bad cat, at least had a right to say that Mapleshade messed up, because she did. She caused her kits’ demises by making them swim through a flash flood instead of, I dunno, the BRIDGE THAT ALREADY EXISTED!
Also, StormTAIL is Bluestar’s dad, not Stormfur.

For Nightheart, he left his Cln because he wanted to be with his true love. He rejected ‘Flameheart’ because it didn’t describe him at all. I don’t blame him for any of that.
Yellowfang killed her son because he had just killed several kits, forced cats into awful battles, and betrayed ThunderClan. He had to die. She tried to kill Firestar because she thought he was a threat to her.

Bluestar gave up her kits so Thistleclaw wouldn’t lead her Clan to its doom. This is a debatable choice, but you can’t blame Bluestar for Stonefur’s death. He would’ve died some other way, or possibly sooner, if Bluestar hadn’t given him up. Also, having mental issues isn’t a crime, and shouldn’t be a reason a character is bad. And she truly trusted Tigerclaw, and however much she respected Firestar, she still wouldn’t do anything about Tigerclaw because Firestar said so.
I can’t really think of a good reason that you could argue that Leafpool killed Bristlefrost.
Daisy does in fact help the Clan. Kits are a lot of work, especially when a cat has warrior duties to attend to and sleep to get. She doesn’t like fighting, so she helps with the difficult task of taking care of the ever-active kits. She does not just sit around.
Nightheart had every right to change the name Sparkpelt gave him! First of all, his Clan expected him to be just like Firestar even though he had never met his great grandfather, and two he left his Clan for Sunbeam because they weren’t treating him fairly, but he did return because he realized that his Clan needed him and would respect him as his own cat.
Dustpelt doesn’t really “ban” him from the family, it’s more like he excluded him, and he had reasons to do so. First of all, Birchfall was training in the Dark Forest, and once the great battle in The Lost Hope, no one trusted the cats who trained in the Dark Forest because they turned against their Clans. I do agree it was wrong because Birchfall did end up fighting for his Clan, but he still had the right to not trust him.
Yellowfang didn’t just kill her son! He helped Tigerstar try to kill Bluestar and he was a dangerous cat that apprenticed kits too soon ending up in their deaths. If she didn’t kill him, think of all the awful things he could’ve done. It was the right choice for her to kill her old son. But I really don’t like her attitude towards everyone.
Just to be clear, Bluestar had mental issues after Tigerstar tried to kill her. And she had to give her kits to RiverClan because if she didn’t, Sunstar might have chosen Thistleclaw as deputy, and that would’ve been the end of ThunderClan.
I agree that Leafpool shouldn’t have become mates with Crowfeather, but she wasn’t the cause of Cinderpelt and Bristlefrost’s death. But just saying, I don’t really like Leafpool all that much.

I think by telling Squilf about the dream that made Squilf choose Bramble instead of Ashfur? And Bristle died because of Ashfur. idk lol
I hate to disagree with you, Blazestar.
1. Jake technically couldn’t have stayed with either of his mates because he had a family too! His owner[s?] let him outside with females, multiple females, so what do you think would happen? And what if he had stayed with his Nutmeg? Then Scourge never would have happened and Tigerstar could still be reigning terror over the Clans! Or if he had stayed with Quince Scourge might have stayed with his kind, understanding father instead of turning evil. Either way, Tigerstar would’ve won if Jake hadn’t done what he did.
2. Nightheart isn’t in my top ten favorite characters, but you need to give the poor guy a break! A formerly illegal relationship now legal and just the thought of romance for him, (he’s basically a kit still), is a lot. He’s a black cat, and a black cat named Flameheart in hopes that he would become the second Firestar, seems kinda unfair. His mother was having a mental breakdown when she named him, and I don’t blame him for wanting to change it! Oh, and I don’t LIKE how he keeps leaving Sunbeam for weeks, but StarClan doesn’t seem to care.
3. I LOVE DUSTPELT!! And before he loved Ferncloud, he loved Sandstorm, so of course he’d try to ruin the FirexSand-ship!! And it makes sense why he’d disown Birchfall and Dovewing. One sided with the dark forest and the other decided that Bumblestripe was too lame for her and left her CLAN (when it was still illegal) for Tigerheart. He and Ferncloud raised many litters of strong warriors that the made the Clan proud. So, I think he’s great. (And he got funnier the older he got!)
4. Yellowfang is kinda predictable, but I don’t get how you don’t love the grump elder of her!! I will forever miss her rude, but playful comments and her love for Cinderpelt. Oh, and she killed her son because he was even worse than Tigerstar EVEN THOUGH HE WAS BLIND!!!!!!!!!!
5. Daisy may sit in the nursery all day, but don’t forget how she trudged three annoying kits all the way to ThunderClan because she wanted to keep them safe from humans. She allowed her kits to become warriors and has helped countless queens with their kits. Daisy is honestly underrated.
I agree with you about all the other characters. I despise Leafpool. I think Bluestar was mentally unstable. Stormfur was just bratty. Tigerstar was pure evil. AND DO NOT GET ME STARTED ON APPLEDUSK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, yeah, that’s my commentary. I agree with you on half the cats and on the others, I don’t. 🙂

But it’s still very creative, and I love the reasoning!
I fully respect your opinions, and your reasons are valid, but I’ll have to disagree with quite a few of them ^^
Jake- I don’t think we have enough evidence to say that he left Firestar and his parents. It could be true, but it might not; Jake could have died prior to Firestar’s birth, or a few moons into his life.
Bluestar- I feel like it’s unfair to blame Bluestar for the death of her son. Back then, she couldn’t have possibly predicted that Tigerclaw was evil- much less take over a whole Clan and prosecute any half-Clan cats. As well as that, she didn’t listen to Fireheart about Tigerclaw because he didn’t have much very reasonable evidence apart from ‘Ravenpaw told me’, etc.
Leafpool- She wasn’t responsible for Cinderpelt and Bristlefrost’s deaths. In the end, when she died in the rock fall, she was already beyond the help of healing herbs. She didn’t have a choice like Squirrelflight. Her fate had already been sealed by then.
Daisy- In the eyes of many readers, some of the only ways to serve your Clan is to hunt, fight, heal, or share with StarClan. But at the same time, it’s equally important to nurture a Clan’s young, as they are the Clan’s future. Daisy wasn’t useless; she was very kind, for instance, she played with Flamekit and Finchkit when Sparkpelt was depressed after Larksong’s death.
Appledusk- I don’t like him, but him blaming Mapleshade for the death of their kits is slightly understandable- Mapleshade was the cat who made her kits cross the river despite the obvious flooding.
Anyways, this was a great article <3 I definitely enjoyed reading it!
great article! but I disagree on many of these, brokentails death was a good thing, he was evil, and considering you hate tigerstar him dying should definently be a good thing, and how was yellowfang supposed to know firestar in the first place? she was starved, and probably crazy at the time, she later proved to be a great medicine cat and served an important place in thunderclan, and how did leafpool kill bristlefrost? and how did she kill cinderpelt? was leafpool the badger? did I miss that?
