This page is entirely dedicated to BlogClan’s Allegiances.

Here, you can:

talk about the allegiances
campaign to become a senior warrior
ask for vouches
look for a mentor/apprentice (limited to twice a week)
(If you have an issue with your current purrsona, please submit a new form so that Viperfrost/Goldenfawn can correct any errors/ommissions at the beginning of the following month)

In alignment with the new changes to the Senior Warrior campaigning platform, please be aware of the following rules:

For Senior Warrior Campaigners

You can announce that you are running for Senior Warrior ONCE, in a short message such as “Hey, everybody! I’m running for SW and I’d appreciate it if you vouched!”. Afterward, you may remind others than you are running ONCE PER WEEK, again in a short message such as “I’m still running for SW and I’d appreciate any support!”. Placing reminders in your name or signature is still fine. 🙂 Please separate your 1) reminder and 2) question about how many vouches you have into two different comments. Any mod can mod your reminder; only two of us can review your vouch question.
You may no longer post lists of reasons others should vouch for you, since the merit of your actions should hopefully speak louder than words.
I (Viperfrost/Goldenfawn) will keep track of how many valid vouches you have and update the Allegiances accordingly. If you’d like the number of how many valid vouches you currently have, you can post that question below ONCE PER WEEK.
To be elligible to run, you must have been active for twelve months total. In the past, you would have had to be active for twelve months in a row. Activity is determined by if you’ve commented at least once per month for each of those twelve months.

For Vouchers

You may no longer “vouch nag” (A.K.A. post lists of reasons one should vouch for a campaigner on behalf of that campaigner).
If you would like to show support (“Vouch for So-And-So!”) or say that you’ve vouched for a campaigner, please do so beneath their announcement or weekly reminder.
If you would like a list of who you’ve vouched for, you can ask below ONCE PER WEEK. Please note that asking who you’ve vouched for is different than asking who you’ve validly vouched for and may produce different answers. 🙂

Vouch Requirements:
1. The vouch must be three or more complete sentences long.
2. The vouch must be legible. Caps lock and intense exclaimations are not your friends.
3. The vouch must include three or more objective reasons, with support, regarding how the candidate benefits the community as a whole.

People usually get caught on the third requirement. I’ll give you an example of what one of these “reasons” would look like.
One NOT VALID reason: “Goldenfawn is very nice and friendly and I love them, they’re the best!!!”
One VALID reason: “Goldenfawn is very kind, warm, and outgoing, They’re always around to be a listener or to offer a shoulder to someone in their time of need in the BlogClan Community.
What makes this valid? You have the first sentence as your thesis. It’s your main point and your reason. It is followed up by another sentence that backs up your claim. You’re providing objective reasons about benefitting the community; you have to explain HOW the candidate carries out the reason you gave. It’s one thing to say someone is nice and quite another to explain why you think they’re nice. As a general reminder, you’ll need three of these reasons in your vouch (so three main points and three explanations of those points).

    Hello, Coldheart (or Coldie),
    I’m Whisperpaw and I noticed that you are looking for an apprentice. I know you probably have, like, a million offers to mentor some of the lucky apprentices waiting for their own apprentices, being the amazing person you are, but I would like to ask you as well. I am a fairly new member of Blogclan and have been reading your articles ever since I first came across this website. You may not have noticed me before this but I have written a few of my own as well! I’m kind and funny(I hope), but can also be very shy and sarcastic. I like reading books like Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, and (of course) Warriors, but also love Star Wars and Marvel, though I’m not a fan of DC or Star Trek. I am VERY stage fright and Claustrophobic, but also can’t stand bees. I try to be as active as I can everyday! I hope we have some of this stuff in common! I would love to be your apprentice, but if you don’t choose me, that’s fine. I hope we will be able to be friends! Bye!

    I’m Fleckedpaw/minnow, also known as Minnie or Min. Any pronouns are okay. I’ve been a part of the blog for five-ish months. I play the piano and the violin, I like to sleep and I like to write. I also like to draw but I’m better at drawing humans than cats. I like autumn. I don’t have any pets.
    I’m not good at talking to people but I’m relatively active here on the blog and more active on the discord server. I speak french, english, and chinese, though i’m not great at the latter. I read Harry Potter, Six of Crows, and Shadowhunters. I make bad decisions. I like musicals and I’m a Slytherin. I would also be in ShadowClan if I were in a clan.

    I am now looking for a mentor! Here are some things about me, I guess

    My favorite animal is a Quetzalcoatlus, second favorite is probably a fishing cat, and third favorite is a pigeon. Favorite color is periwinkle, it’s the most underrated color. I like reading, but only when I’m not forced, which is why I’ve been procrastinating on my reading assignment the whole summer break so far. I also love writing, and I’m writing a warrior cats fanfic called The First Nightmare and an original book about my cats. I have two cats, their names are Cookies n’ Cream and Hershey, and I’ve fostered a dog named Charlie (who peed in the living room). I love nature and exploring, sometimes it’s because of the adventure and sometimes it’s because of the tranquility. I love science stuff like dyson spheres, wormholes, and nuclear pasta, though it’s only a hobby and I’d never consider myself an expert at that stuff. I also love the 3rd Life SMP, the Dream SMP, the Hermitcraft SMP, and the many other SMPs that I watch subconsciously. I’m planning on starting a Minecraft series after the second half of the Caves and Cliffs update is released, so around December. I love art, especially drawing cats since I think I’m the best at that. I skipped a grade, I’m not saying which, but I’m young for the grade I’m in. My favorite character in Warriors is Jayfeather, second favorite is Mapleshade, and third favorite is probably either Mothwing, Hawkfrost, or Goosefeather. My least favorite is either Foxheart or Thistleclaw. My favorite book in Warriors is either Tallstar’s Revenge (just pure perfection), Into the Wild (for nostalgia and great writing), or Mapleshade’s Vengeance (for the theme/lesson). Though I kind of love and hate Mapleshade’s Vengeance at the same time. I’m very active on BlogClan, so I’m looking for an active mentor! I look forward to finding a mentor 😀

  • Hey guys !!! Maple here !! I’m soon going to be an open mentor as my dear apprentice Red is leaving me.
    So that means I’m open to taking on some apprentices. I’ve gone a little inactive for personal reasons so here’s some stuff about me.
    I’m a huge fan of Star Wars, Marvel, Merlin, Killing Eve, and many other things I can’t remember right now. Basically I get obsessed with stuff very easily aksjdhf. I’m also a keen artist and writer. I really love Dungeons and Dragons as well !
    I’m LGBTQ+, being asexual, lesbian and genderfluid, and I really love talking about my identity and helping others understand LGBTQ+ identities a little bit better

    I’ve always historically had a close bond with my mentor and two previous apprentices so I’d really love to be able to talk to my new apprentice in some way. So it would be preferred if you had discord to contact me, but if not then that doesn’t mean I’m not going to considre you for my apprentice !!!!

    I’m still in need of a mentor for whoever wants me!
    Please tell me if you’re available as I really would like to share a bond with someone on Blogclan. I love reading, writing-as according to my teachers, I’m a talented writer-and aspire to write my own book as well as to become part of the Erin Hunter team someday. I also love to draw and sing, but I’m very stage fright, so I tend to hide in a shell and not show off, hence the name “Whisperpaw”. I hate tight, enclosed spaces like tunnels and consider myself severely claustrophobic, as well as circles because I can never draw one perfectly. My Fursona has a thick, soft coat of pale silver fur, dark grey patterns, thin black stripes, white patches, grey flecks, and blue eyes. I try to be as active as I can when I’m out of school, which is often. I’ve written two articles on Blogclan(if you want to check those out) and have three coming out soon. I’m very active on the Hug Page, trying to help everyone and sending my Bible verse of the day. If you’re interested, please tell me as soon as possible!

    I am the leader of WaffleClan, which is like the App Army but with waffles!

    I’m Frostshine, also known as Frost or Frost That Shines on Petal.
    I play violin pretty well, I love to write and read, my favorite books are Harry Potter, PJO, and of course Warrior Cats.
    Pronouns are she/her. I think I’m a Ravenclaw or a Slytherin, and my favorite Clan is ShadowClan.
    I’m fairly bubbly and fun, but I also have a gentle side. I’m sometimes a bit too bubbly though, which gets me in trouble.
    If you like a cat who’s quiet on the outside but fun on the inside, and loves to hunt, I’m your cat!
