Hello, enchilada-and-apprentice soup consumers! I tested out a new style! [spoiler title=”Spoiler box explaining what’s new about the style”] First off, the people who read and/or mod the allegiances know that my purrsona is dARk blue-gray. I made it lighter because it contrasted too much with the light colors of BlogClan and hurt my eyes. If you want to see the dark version and kill your eyes, be my guest. Anyways, so… This style is rounder, and I embraced the pixels. The nose, inner ears, toe beans that you can’t see, and eyebrows reflect the eye color. I used less natural colors, too. I used less gray and more blue when normally I would desaturate the blue and darken it. I made it 5x more cartoony, and maybe even a little chibi. The face got smaller and the eyebrows got to have a full outline when I would normally only give them a partial outline. Tiny paws. Bigger flecks. THICKER. This style reflects the body type of my purrsona far better than my last, where everyone is thin or average, no thick. If you managed to read this much, good for you, and thanks. For the motion in her wings and feet, I used a select tool to copy parts of my drawing and then pasted them on with low opacity.
This is one of my first attempts at drawing a shadow, and I used the same tool for that and then colored it in gray.
