After like a month of debating with myself………I’ve decided to reopen the forms for Shattered Souls.
Like 99.9999999999999999999999999999999% of you guys will not have any idea what this is but it’s an old blogfic I did in October and it was terrible…. I recently decided to rewrite it and I’m pretty excited for this
(in case you’re wondering I’m going to be alternating between chapters of Bloodlust and Shattered Souls)

I knew for a fact that I wasn’t safe.
Not with these powers, I wasn’t.
Nobody had to know that I had them. They wouldn’t: I was careful with them.
Why wasn’t I safe? Simple. The government hated us. They thought we were too powerful to live. They thought that one day we would snap and massacre everyone who had ever done something to hurt us. They thought we were going to take over the world and destroy everyone without powers.
Angrily, I kicked a small stone out of my path. The movement did nothing to ease my fury, with an empty, hollow clattering sound and skittering to the ground an unsatisfying distance away. That’s just what they want us to think.
They want to be more powerful than us.

Hello, everyone! Based off of my snippet from a few days ago, I have decided to actually make it into a Blogfic. The chapters won’t be that long; only about 1,000 words or so each, and the overall Blogfic should end up to only be about ten chapters, because I’m pretty bad at carrying out a long, full-fledged project. Anyway, I’ve always wanted to do a Blogfic-type thing, so here we are!

By the year 2053 life on Earth was considered perfect, there was no war, no poverty or hunger. sexism and racism were unheard of. Medical and technological science had advanced tremendously. Officials claimed we’d reached “Utopia”. Humanity thought nothing bad could happen now, they couldn’t have been more wrong.
On the summer solstice it happened. Hundreds of explosions scattered across the globe, massive waves of unforgiving and hateful energy, killing billions and permanently changing the way of life of the rest. Beautiful cities that once touched the sky are now left in rubble. No family was left whole. Anarchy was the kingdom and fear was king.
After the dust had cleared and colonies were forming a new threat appeared,the Aberrations, once human or animal, now twisted monsters driven by instinct and the need to kill. But even in darkness there can still be light, The Gifted. Children born with the ability to bend, break even, the natural law. Many are blind to the light and see the gifted as monsters too, they scorn them, cast them out. Others horde them as weapons or sell them. Things will get better, but first they will get worse… much worse.

She escaped with the help of another one of the Gifted, but they died in the attempt to escape. But Cheetah did make it out. And she’s been running from them ever since.
