We are delighted to have so many talented and prolific writers on BlogClan, but the amount of fan fiction posted in comments has increased so much that we do not have the time or resources to moderate it all in a timely fashion. So, here goes, and apologies in advance if this is upsetting:
Fan fiction comments will not be moderated on BlogClan.
This means comments containing fan fiction will never make it out of moderation. They will languish there, unread and unmoderated, for eternity.

Brambleclaw’s neko fanfic ( i always loved the family vibes from arc three. im starting from around the third arc so hollykit, lionkit and jaykit are born. so technically brambleclaw and squirrelflight are married lol:)
chapter six: Brambleclaw’s POV
i walk in, back from work. i pull off my shoes and hear the tiny footsteps of my kids. Hollykit reaches me first, her green eyes so much like her mother’s. “daddy!” she says excitedly, “i won!” she adds, and i place her on my knees, “won what?” i ask her, tweaking her nose. “the race” she tells me, while i see lionkit and jaykit following. Squirrelflight stares at Jaykit, a bit nervously as he swats her hand away. “i can walk by myself, mommy” he tells her. i hug them, my heart swelling with love for them. Lionkit looks at me, his yellow hair fluffed from pillows. “did you wake up from your nap?” i ask them, and get up, holding them all. squirrelflight nods. “yep-” but hollykit interrupts “mommy sung us this song that granny sandstorm sung her!” “really? can you sing it for me?” i ask hollykit, joking. “sure!” she says and clears her throat.
“between the here, between the now.
Between the north, between the south.
between the west, between the east,
between the time, between the place.
From the shell, the song of the sea,
neither quiet nor calm.
searching for my love again.
my love”
hollykit sings while jaykit and lionkit giggle. “that’s all i remember” she says. Squirrelflight smiles, “that was good” she says, picking up Lionkit. “pfft!” he snorts. I hear a beep on my phone and answer the call from Firestar. “hey brambleclaw, Sandstorm wants you all to come for dinner- round seven?” he asks. “sure” i tell him and end the call as he says bye. “Firestar wants us to come for dinner” i tell my family. squirrelflight nods. “okay- ill get the triplets ready” she says, while hollykit climbs on squirrelflight”s back and jaykit follows. i sit on the sofa, thinking about how grateful i should be for this amazing family, until i feel a small head on my lap. “hey lionkit- you getting ready?” i ask him, fist-bumping him. “yeah- can i wear your badge for a bit?” he asks, his amber eyes shining. “sure,” and i give it to him to try.
chapter seven: Hollykit’s POV
(note: i am british so i say granny lol)
i bang the car door shut and jump out, and see granny sandstorm swinging on the gate outside the house. i run to her, jaykit and lionkit following. “Hello granny!” i say, hugging her. Sandstorm laughs and picks us all up. “how are you?” she asks us all. She waits for our parents to come out the car, and hugs squirrelflight. “how are you sweetheart?” she asks, and it’s quite weird to see my own mother acting like a child to her own mother- hugging her, eyes closed in bliss. “i wonder why none of your kids had ginger hair-” sandstorm laughs but squirrelflight looks deadly serious. “ginger hair is a rare gene” she says, then she smiles “Im technically a unicorn” she adds. Brambleclaw walks in the Front-yard too, “how are you sandstorm?” he asks, she replies with “great brambleclaw- Firestar’s in the garden with Leafpool, they’re making Burgers!” sandstorm says and lionkit and jaykit yell “BURGERS!” and run to the garden, while i roll my eyes.
“did you know, granny, when im older i want to be a Nurse- like auntie Leafpool” i say. Sandstorm grins, “really?”. “Really!” i answer.
we eat our burgers, sitting in the Garden. “Ashfur doesn’t really seem that exited for duty anymore, right brambleclaw?” Firestar asks my father. Brambleclaw’s face falls. “yeah, i guess,” he says, “come to think of it, he hasn’t been ever since squirrelflight’s been on Maternity leave” he adds. Squirrelflight tipped her head to one side, “i was thinking coming off it, maybe next month?” she asked. Sandstorm shakes her head, “your kids are barely two- who would you leave them with?” she says. Leafpool grins, “Ferncloud? after all she does come for an ultrasound every year” she jokes. “wow” Squirrelflight laughs.
i smile at my family.
we’re all happy- i hope we stay that way.
im carrying it on tommorow- im rlly busy today guys sorrryyy!

Prologue
Lightning flashed and rain poured around the fighting cats. Screeches and yowls sounded around the clearing. A silver tom dashed from cat to cat, tending to their injuries. Suddenly a shriek arose from a small secure den to the side of the clearing.
“Hillheart’s kits are coming!” A mottled gray tom screeched at the silver tom. “Help her, Volewhisker!”
Volewhisker looked at the sky. “This is a bad time to have kits.” But he followed the mottled gray tom towards the den where the shriek had sounded.
A large brown tom dashed down the clearing. “Volewhisker, Rainstar was badly injured! He needs help!”
Volewhisker looked at the brown tom. “Woodclaw, go get Grasspaw. Hillheart’s having her kits.”
Woodclaw tore impatiently at the ground. “You know he’s on his last life!”
Volewhisker dipped his head. “May StarClan light his path.” He lifted his gaze to the stars, eyes filled with sorrow.
Woodclaw slumped to the ground with wistful eyes.
“Go help with the battle. They need their leader.” Volewhisker hurried away. “And Hillheart is having her kits.”
Woodclaw gave Volewhisker one last desperate look, then hared down the slope and dove into the fighting cats.
“CloudClan killed Rainstar!” Woodclaw screeched as he clawed mercilessly at a tortoiseshell warrior. The tortoiseshell screeched in pain and tore away. Woodclaw lunged for a pair of warriors fighting one StormClan warrior.
“Rainstar! Rainstar!” Woodclaw yowled his leader’s name to the storm raging above with each blow he landed on the CloudClan warriors.
His Clanmates took up the call and fought harder.
“Rainstar! Rainstar!”
A calico she-cat yowled, “CloudClan, retreat!”
Bloody CloudClan warriors tore from their angry StormClan opponents and raced away, disappearing over the slope. Woodclaw watched them go, then yowled, “Rainstar! Rainstar!”
The grief-stricken StormClan took up the call and chanted their fallen leader’s name to the flashes of lightning. Volewhisker slid out of the nursery, eyes tired.
“Hillheart has delivered three healthy kits: two toms and a she-cat.” Vinewing darted into the nursery. Before his eyes three kits squirmed and mewled besides Hillheart’s belly.
“What shall we name them?” Vinewing looked at the kits with pride in his gaze.
“The small black one is Pigeonkit.” Hillheart stroked her kit alongst its flank.
“I think the silver one should be Streamkit.” Vinewing nudged the silver kit towards Hillheart’s belly.
Suddenly the sun broke through the storm clouds and one shaft of light shone down on the gray-black tabby.
“And this one is Shinekit.”
Chapter 1
Shinekit squirmed against Hillheart’s warm body. He was hungry and moved towards Hillheart’s belly. A paw slapped his face. Pigeonkit! The littermates were always hungry and often competed for milk. Shinekit moved closer to Hillheart and used his hind legs to push Pigeonkit away.
“Now, let your sister have some milk.” Hillheart gently pushed Pigeonkit back towards her belly. Meanwhile, Streamkit clambered over both of them and onto Hillheart. He was the firstborn, and opened his eyes before his sister and brother.
“When are they going to open their eyes? I want to play with them.” Streamkit squeaked. Hillheart mewed softly, “In their own time, Streamkit. Why don’t you encourage Streamkit and Shinekit to open their eyes?” Shinekit mewed in protest. I’ll open my eyes when I say so. Shinekit drew up from Hillhearts belly. He tottered to the side of the nest and breathed in the air. For some reason, the air was cooler and fresher on the side of the nest. Curious, Shinekit stretched open his eyes. Wow! There was a giant gaping hole in the warm den. It was big enough for all three kits to squeeze out of. He turned around and gazed at his mother and littermates.
Streamkit had so many stripes! And Hillheart was so big! Shinekit looked at Pigeonkit. She was so small, a nd completely black. “Hillheart, I opened my eyes!” Shinekit bounced towards his mother.
“Congratulations! Now you can see everything!” Hillheart mewed. Streamkit bounded over to Shinekit.
“Wow! Your eyes are so blue!” Streamkit said. Shinekit looked at Streamkit.
“And yours are amber!” The two kits looked at each other for a while more.
“We should be best friends!” squeaked Shinekit.
“We are already littermates.” Streamkit pointed out. Another squeak sounded behind them.
“Can I be your friend too?” Pigeonkit had opened her eyes.
“Pigeonkit!” Streamkit and Shinekit mewed in unison. “You opened your eyes!” Pigeonkit nodded.
“Your eyes are amber! Like mine!” mewed Streamkit.
“And mine are blue!” Shinekit added. Pigeonkit bounced with excitement. Streamkit turned to Hillheart. “Wow! Hillheart’s eyes are blue, like Shinekit’s!” Hillheart purred.
“Your father is coming to visit you kits today. Make sure you are all groomed.” The kits squealed with excitement. Shinekit knew that his mother was usually deputy, but his father filled in for Hillheart’s place as she raised kits, which made him important. Shinekit began licking his chest fur, and out of the corner of his eye, could see that his littermates were doing the same.
The entrance to the nursery rustled. Shinekit looked up. Vinewing! But the cat wasn’t Vinewing. It was Pondeye. “What are you doing here, Pondeye?” asked Streamkit. Pigeonkit and Shinekit bounded over and sniffed Pondeye. Hillheart mewed a greeting.
“I’m expecting kits.” Pondeye sat down in a nest next to Hillheart’s.
“Oh, cool! We’ll have denmates!” Shinekit circled Pondeye.
“They aren’t coming until one more moon.” Pondeye started grooming herself. Shinekit’s tail drooped with disappointment. He wanted to have more friends.
The nursery entrance rustled. Vinewing? A large tabby tom padded in.
“Vinewing!” The littermates clambered over to their father.
“Give us a badger ride!” squeaked Pigeonkit.
“Okay.” The kits squealed with excitement. Pigeonkit climbed onto her father. Shinekit wanted to be better than that, and leaped onto Vinewing’s shoulder. But he fell short and flopped to the ground. Vinewing purred with amusement. Vinewing lifted Shinekit onto his back.
“Thanks,” Shinekit mewed, embarrassed. Streamkit climbed onto Vinewing and sat behind Pigeonkit and Shinekit. Vinewing ducked out of the entrance and walked into the camp. Wow! The camp was huge, and cats were everywhere. A large brown tabby tom with a scar on his left flank greeted Vinewing. “These are yours?”
Vinewing nodded. “Kits, meet Thornfeather. He’s a senior warrior, and he is the brother of Woodstar, which makes him important.” The kits, on top of Vinewing, looked at Thornfeather. Even standing at his tallest, on top of Vinewing, Thornfeather was still taller than Shinekit. Cats began to cluster around them. They were meowing congratulations and were purring in amusement. Shinekit jumped off of Vinewing. He looked at the cats gathered around him.
“Hi. I’m Shinekit. It’s my first day out of the nursery!” Shinekit hoped the cats would like his introduction. Purrs broke out and Shinekit heard lots of comments about how cute he and his littermates were. Streamkit and Pigeonkit followed and introduced themselves. A large brown tom emerged from the crowd. “Welcome to the Clan, kits.”
“Who are you?” asked Streamkit.
“Shhh!” Shinekit hissed. “He’s Woodstar!” Gazing at the large brown tom, he added, “Right?” Woodstar purred.
“You are very right.”
Shinekit puffed out his chest in pride. Streamkit was wandering to a cat with a long tail. The cat was sitting besides Vinewing. Quickly, Shinekit scampered over with Pigeonkit on his heels.
“Who are you?” Pigeonkit looked at the tom.
“I’m Grasspaw, medicine cat apprentice.”
“So you are from StarClan?” asked Shinekit.
Grasspaw let out a mrrow of laughter. “No, but I share dreams with StarClan.” Shinekit suddenly felt very tired and saw his littermates were too. He looked at Vinewing and said, “I’m tired.”
Vinewing wrapped his tail around Shinekit. “Go back to the nursery, then.”
The kits padded over to a den. One by one, they padded inside. But this didn’t smell like milk! Instead, a bunch of leaves were in a pile in one side of the den. Further down a tunnel led to a small cave where more leaves were stored. There was a small pool in the back of the cave.
“I don’t think this is the nursery.” Streamkit declared. Volewhisker suddenly barged in.
“Of course this isn’t the nursery. It’s the medicine cat den.”
The kits rushed out to see every cat amused. They scampered over to the next den. Vinewing bounded over and nosed them away. “That’s the apprentices’ den.” He guided them over to a smaller, sturdier den. The exhausted kits clambered in and climbed over to Hillheart. “What happened?” Hillheart mewed.
“We went in the wrong den.” Shinekit licked his fur. He lay down in the bottom of the nest and snuggled closer to Hillheart. Pigeonkit and Streamkit started squirming and vying Shinekit for the warmest spot.
“Hush, kits. Go to sleep. You aren’t doing yourself any good by fighting.” The kits stopped squirming. Shinekit felt a surge of triumph as he settled into the nook of Hillheart’s belly. One day, I’ll be leader. And I will do anything I want.
I expect the full edition to be out by January, if not late December.

This is not meant to be taken seriously. This started when autocorrect turned Spotfur into Spitfire, and my friend (Phoenixflame) came up with this:
Spitfire advanced on Rootspring, spitting fire from her eyes.
“Why are you doing this to me?” asked Rootspring.
“I am forever bitter,” Spitfire spat. “My fool of a mother named me Spitkit. I mean, what kind of name is that?”
Roopspring shrugged. “I don’t know, maybe you spat a lot as a kit.”
“Bristlefrost must have been more of a fool than I thought to have that train of thought,” Spitfire spat.
Rootspring felt a stab of grief at the name of his deceased mate. According to Squirrelflight by the Gathering, this very cat had killed her. Spitfire. Wait. What?
“What?” Rootspring said, mind reeling. “Bristlefrost was you’re MOTHER?!!!” No. Because if Bristlefrost was Spitfire’s mother, that meant. . .
“Yes, Dad,” Spitfire spat. “I’m here to kill my precious father. Sorry your precious Bristlefrost never told you in life. Or, apparently in death, either”
epic. just epic.
ROFL
Thanks. 🙂 I was too. 😉
you should make more of these type of articles 🤣🤣
I’ll let Phoenixflame know. 🙂

“Oh, not again, not again,” a gray tom said from StarClan, his amber eyes flashing. A flame colored tom stepped into view, with the gray tom’s mate, a pretty silver she-cat, and the flame colored tom’s mate, a sandy colored she-cat. “It worked out fine for us, Graystripe,” the silver she-cat meowed. Graystripe looked at her. “Really, Silverstream?” Graystripe meowed, “Did it really?” “Okay fine it wasn’t the best, but at least Feathertail and Stormfur lived!” Silverstream meowed. “Look, the she-cat has four healthy kits, and a ThunderClan cat is the father, no big deal!” the sandy she-cat meowed, “I don’t know why you are making a fuss about such a little thing.” “It’s not a little thing!” a black she cat appeared from the shadows. “Hollyleaf,” Firestar meowed, “you were not invited to this meating…” “We took her along,” Lionblaze growled, stepping out of the shadows with Jayfeather, Dovewing, and Ivypool. “Fine,” Firestar meowed. Bramblestar, Feathertail, Crowfeather, Tawnypelt, Alderheart, Twigbranch, Violetshine, Bristlefrost, and Rootspring came in. Rootspring still had markings from the rockslide that had killed him. Bristlefrost was staying away from him, as she had never loved him. “Well, the white kit could complete the prophecy,” Jayfeather meowed. “A swan from the mist will save us all.” “And she is named Swankit,” Dovewing spoke up. “Well, it could be a different cat!” Hollyleaf broke in, quick to correct Dovewing. “I agree with Dovewing,” Ivypool meowed from her position next to Bristlefrost she bared her teeth at Hollyleaf. “Put your squabbles aside!” Firstar meowed, “Swankit is obviously the cat we need.” “I still think it’s something else. Perhaps the kits Ripplewaters is expecting could be them?” Hollyleaf meowed. “No,” Firestar meowed, “Swankit is the cat we need.”
Chapter One: Another Ordinary *cough* Day In The Life of Me
Dear Ms. Holiday,
We are pleased to inform you that you will be continuing your studies at Lyon High School (LHS). School begins Monday at eight-’o-clock. Contained is a list of everything you will need.
All students please note that no pets are allowed on campus due to the ‘no pets in schools’ rule in the city and the allergies of certain classmates.
Good wishes!
Stephanie Arden
Headmistress
I stared at the letter. I couldn’t believe it. Me, Dria Holiday, the girl who had ruined (and been knocked out at) her own parents funeral, was going to the school everyone dreamed of going to.
“Hey, Dria!” My cousin Loyal walked in, his wolf ears twitching.
“Oi, knock!” I shouted at him. It was my usual way of greeting him.
He rolled his eyes. “Did you get in?”
Now it was my turn to roll my eyes. “No, Loyal, I was the only person in our family to not get accepted into LHS.” Loyal rolled his eyes again. I shook my head and looked down at the letter, already thinking about what I would need to pack. Lyrical, my other cousin and Loyal’s twin, burst into my room. “I’M IN!” she shrieked. I once again rolled my eyes. “Hasn’t anyone in this family ever heard of knocking?” I asked.
“Oh yes, we’ve heard of it.” Loyal stated. “It’s just that we choose not to use it.”
I set my letter on my bed. “I’m going to see if Sonali got in.” I say, reaching for my phone. “Sonali?” Loyal questions, quickly fixing his dark hair. Lyrical and I both snicker. “Re-lax Loyal, I’m just texting her.” I laugh. “Yeah,” Lyrical agrees. “You can flirt with your crush later.” Loyal turns red. Sonali is my best friend, so naturally she knows about Loyal’s huge crush on her. She told me she actually likes him a bit, but I know for a fact that she’s currently crushing on Dylan Keppo. Lyrical and I don’t care, though. It gives us plenty of ammunition to tease Loyal with. We’ve been teasing him about Sonali for actual years. Or, in other words, ever since he started crushing on her in second grade.
I lean back against my pillows running my hand through my dark red hair. I pull up Sonali’s contact. Did u get in? I text her. No surprise, she texts back right away. Yeah. U? I text back with: What do u think? And she replies with, Oh, u poor thing. I can tell she’s joking.
Suddenly, a new message pops up on my screen. Hey, do u want 2 come over today?
Sure. I text back. I’ll be right over.
Aunt Emmy calls up to us. “Lunch is ready!” All three of us race downstairs. Aunt Emmy’s cooking is legendary. She can make a turkey sandwich seem like a part of a gourmet meal. Today she’s going simple: sandwiches and potato chips. I quickly snarf down my tuna sandwich and chips, then I yell “I’m going to Sonali’s!” and grab my skateboard before dashing out the door. Once I’m outside, I immediately hop on my skateboard. There’s an awesome hill between me and Sonali’s house, even though she lives relatively close to me. I push off with my foot and let gravity do the rest. The wind blows my hair back, but a bit gets caught on my nose ring. I brush it off, pushing off of the ground again to get going faster. I laugh out loud. It’s so nice to be able to forget the troubles being a teenager brings. I look around at the city of Senikeia. It’s the capital of the Magist world, Zercona. Looking around at all the people bustling around on foot, and on bikes and cars, you’d never guess that there was a war going on. I dodge a street light, my striped tail almost catching on it. The bottom of the hill is coming up. I almost smile thinking of all the times I wiped out coming down it. I reach the end and slow down, making a sharp turn around the corner. Four houses down, I stop. Sonali’s waiting for me outside, her nose ring glinting in the sun (long story about when we got those). I walk up the stairs, and Sonali pulls me into a hug. “Easy Sony, you don’t want to strangle me right before school.” I laugh. She pulls away. “Really Dria? I barely hugged you at all. I’m so excited we both made it in!” Sonali’s huge snowy owl wings, which she is famous for at school, are nowhere in sight, so I assume she has temporarily hidden them. A lot of people in Zercona are merged with birds, so a lot of them have huge wings. They can temporarily get rid of them so they don’t get in the way of doing normal things like riding in a car or swimming. It takes practice, but Sonali has told me it’s beyond worth it. “Hey, do you want to go to the stables?” Sonali askes. I laugh. “Sure.” I say. “Though it’s amazing how I always end up wearing jeans the day you suggest going horseback riding, even if it’s a surprise.” Sonali laughs. “It really is.” She grabs her skateboard and shuts the door behind her. I can tell she’s been wanting to go riding. She has a rule against changing clothes in the middle of the day unless it’s needed, and she’s wearing jeans and a white t-shirt. We skateboard out of the city a bit, until we come to Sarah’s ranch.
“You girls again?” Sarah laughs. Her golden leopard ears twitch. Sonali and I just smile. “Well, take your pick girls!” Sarah half shouts, gesturing to the horses around her. She’s really energetic and fun, which is why Sonali and I love her. Each of us head straight to our favorite horse. Sonali’s is an ice stallion named Storm. Mine is a lightning stallion named Trio. We saddle them up, and Trio’s body crackles with electricity. I never got why humans were so strange. Humans ride on flesh and blood horses. How barbaric do you get?! That’s like riding your best friend! Us magists ride on elemental horses. They look like real horses, but they’re formed from the elements of the universe- like the very first Magists. The same is true for dogs, cats, hamsters, etc. Sonali and I swing into the saddle, and we race off towards the arena. We lope the horses around the ring, but as amazing as the steady thrum of Trio’s muscles underneath me feels, I can’t help but think of how hard the next four years are going to be, even without a war. I also can’t shake that feeling I’ve had since that morning- the feeling that someone is watching me.
(this is directly copied from my drive)

Short Chapter that kinda portrays the family:
Chapter Two: Loyal Nearly Kills My Computer
The next day contained a lot of packing. A lot of packing. Books, pillows, earrings, everything we wanted at school had to get packed up. I filled my turquoise suitcase with clothes and toiletries, then I shoved my shoes into my red duffle bag. I ended up shoving some of my books into the duffle bag as well. The rest of the books I put into a smaller duffle bag, which I then proceeded to throw a bunch of random stuff into, including scissors and nail polish. I had a small shoulder bag that I filled with small things: headbands, earrings, necklaces, etc. I put my computer, my notebooks, my writing stuff, my water bottle, my earbuds, and my phone, plus all my chargers into my backpack. I brought all of my stuff out of my room and downstairs, and then I went back to make sure I hadn’t left anything. Loyal was walking downstairs so I asked him to take my backpack down. As I was scanning my room for anything I might’ve forgotten, I heard a thump, and Loyal uttered a curse word. Lyrical and I both rushed out of our rooms to find Loyal in the middle of the stairs, my computer at the bottom.
“Loyal! What happened?!” I demanded racing down to my computer.
“I don’t know!” He replied. “It just fell out!”
I flipped my computer open. The screen was dark. I tried pressing the power button, but the computer stayed dark. I would have uttered a curse word myself if Aunt Emmy hadn’t been standing right there. I tried every way of turning my computer on, but it stayed dark. I knew it was at full battery. I had checked it at least three times! I stared at the dark screen.
“Loyal, you killed it!” Lyrical screamed, while Loyal uttered the words, “Is there a computer doctor or something?” Aunt Emmy just stared in shock.
“Loyal! I needed this for school!” I screamed. “I’m sorry!” Loyal said, looking guilty.
Uncle Rick came in through the door. “What’s going on?” he asked, taking in the chaos.
“Loyal killed Dria’s computer!” Lyrical shouted at her father. “And the first day of school is tomorrow.” I added. It could’ve just been that my computer was just old, but I had gotten that computer literally three months ago. “Can you fix it?” Aunt Emmy asked her husband. Uncle Rick grabbed the computer. “The doctor is in!” he said with a joking smile.
Within an hour or so, my computer was fixed and stowed safely inside my backpack. It turned out that Loyal had just dislodged something inside the computer. But, as I later told him, he was so lucky he didn’t kill my computer. We went to bed, all three of us dreaming about the next day. Oh, and me having learned the valuble lesson to never trust Loyal with anything priced above fifty dollars.
UNCLE RICK
When I read that I immediately thought of Rick Riordan.
That is where I got it from. I was seriously like ‘well, hes only going to appear in, like, one chapter, so….’
The first chapter of The Fight to Get Back is out!
Chapter one-
The fish throne
As I got dressed, I put on my aqua hoodie with a cat and dog on it. I had copies of the same clothes, so I wore the same thing everyday. I slid the metal door to the eating room. Those walls were made out of metal. My room had spikes that are cushioned on the walls, ceiling, and floor. Ray was sitting at my table. The other tables were for other kids. I heard there were 4 other kids here, but I knew everything about them even without meeting them. Ray, Rame, and Zack told me everything about the other kids, I’m not aloud to meet them until we go to school together. “Hey, Omni!” Ray called to me putting her hands behinds her head tilting her chair back. She had short black hair and black make up on. She wore a pink shirt with a moon on it, and black leggings, and white tennis shoes. “I toasted you some bread.” She said. “I know how much you love butter, so I slathered a bunch on there for you big day.” “Big day?” I ask. “Yup. You get to meet the other kids!” Ray exclaims.
After eating my bread, that had like 17 buckets of butter on it,(seriously, there was more butter than 4 pieces of butter combined!), Ray walked me into living room. The was a red couch, a huge tv, a fireplace, a blue rocking chair, a crimson colored wood chair. The walls were a white color, no metal, no cushions. I felt Ray’s hand push against my back, signing me to move on. “Sit on the couch. I need to get more chairs.”” Ray pointed to the couch, and went out the door in the back.
Ray returned with a white smelly chair and moved it in front of the tv. “What’s that?” I ask wrinkling my nose to the smell of it. “Rame’s fish throne.” Ray replied sighing. “Fish? I don’t see fish.” I said confused. “It’s made out of fish bones,” Ray said, fluffing a fish pillow. “And this is made out of fish scales, and Rame put fish guts and a fish organ in this pillow.”
I make a face. I wanted to throw up. “Disgusting.” I say sticking out my tongue. Ray put the fish pillow on the throne. “I know.” Ray exclaimed, copying me. “Zack and me had to help her make it.” “That is super sad.” I say sarcastically. “Oh, be quiet. Rame will be here soon.” Ray exclaims and rolls her eyes. The door that we came in, opens. A girl walks in. She has a white blouse on, her hair is a very light blonde, pale skin that is very clear, and gray, almost silver eyes. She’s grinning really wide. “Hi!” She exclaims to me. “I’m Artemis! Who are you?” She sits down on the couch next to me.
This makes me a little uncomfortable. I’ve never sat next to someone so polite. The only thing I’ve sat this close to, was Carslo, my stuffed cheetah. I only need someone else to come in and break this awkward moment. “You two,” Ray calls to us. “Stay here. I have to help Zack get the others.” Then she walks out the door. “So, what do you like to do? I heard your great at drawing.” Artemis says. “Y-yeah I like to draw. I also like to write.” I murmur.
A couple minutes after Artemis was explaining what she liked to do, three other kids walked in with Ray, Zack, and Rame. The kid who sat next to Artemis, had tan skin, green eyes, a red sweater, jeans, and short dark brown hair. The kid next to her, had a black long jacket with a bunch of pockets. The kid also had tight black braids, dark skin, black pants, and cool blue eyes. Everyone scrunched up together on the couch, so the last kid could fit in. The last kid had dark skin, dark amber eyes, and an orange ponytail. The kid also had dark blue shirt with jeggings.
“So,” Rame starts off. “You all will be going to school tomorrow, so we thought you could get to known each other. Everyone say your names.” As much as Rame is a grouch, she can be nice sometimes. “I’m Mynx.” The kid with the all the pockets says. “I’m Artemis.” Her voice sounds nice and kind. “I’m JP.” The girl on the other side of Artemis says. “Name’s Carlina.” The last kid says. “I-I am…” I murmur realizing it’s my time to say my name. “Omni.”
“Don’t touch anything.” Rame says, while she and Ray leave with Zack right behind them, we get left alone for a while. “That chair smells disgusting.” Mynx says. “It’s made out of raw fish bones.” I say with my elbow digging into the couch and my head in my hand. “The pillow is made of out fish scales and has fish guts and organs in it.” “I glance at everyone. They’re all staring at me wide-eyed. “What?” I ask. Carlina stands up and taps the bones.
“Weirdly, how old this looks, the bones are pretty new.” Carlina notes. “And how would you know?” Mynx asks. “Are you like, a animal show off?” Ae stands up and leans on the throne. “Can we open the pillow?” JP asks inspecting the pillow. “I wanna know what fish the bones came from.” Artemis exclaims and starts look around. I sit straight up, watching the chair wobble. “Guys! Stop messing with it! It’s gonna break!” I yell at them putting my hands out. Everything crashes, people, the chair, and the pillow opened. I put my head in my hands, shaking my head.
“What did I tell you?!” Rame yells at us. “I told you not to touch anything! Then you broke my throne?!” “Sorry.” Carlina murmurs. “Oh had no right to touch the only thing I cared about in this room.” Rame snaps. “Take these kids to school.” She points at Ray and Zack. Zack is touch the screen thing. He’s always on the screen thing. It’s the small one. The other is flat screen, and connected screen. I also think the tv is a screen. I’ve only watch one show on it, it’s was called, Jurassic Park, it had these animals called dinosaurs. But they sent us to collect things for school.
…………………………………….
I open my eyes to see a building made out of bricks, it’s roof is blue, and has 3 floors. There is a ocean full of kids and adults, streaming through roads, and kids running around like their life depended on it. “You’re here.” Zack says, looking back at us with his arm around the head rest. “Get going.” He presses a button on the door, with makes it open going up. Mynx, And Carlina get out first. Then JP and Artemis. I sigh, and get out of the car.
“So, we have dorms during school, just not on the weekend?” Carlina asks. “Strange.” “I think it’s a too long drive for them to pick us up between every day.” JP says. “That makes the most sense.” I nod. “Omni, just shut it. I’m tryna read this map.” Mynx says, and inspects the glowing map. “So we have seven periods, and our first should be level two, third building.” “Wait- THREE BUILDINGS?!” I exclaim. “They already have three floors! What more do they need?!” I throw my arms up. “Let’s just flipin’ go to the office to get our cards.”
“So, what’s your first period?” Artemis asks. “Mine’s math.” “ELA.” Mynx replies. “Writing.” Carlina says. “Science.” JP frowns while saying it. Everyone stares at me. “U-uh,” I quickly read it. First period: Art. “Art.” “Remember to look at the school map.” Mynx says, and walks away with everyone else.
So, I start heading to the third building. When I get there, it’s already start time. So I race into the art room. The teacher gives me a look. “Sit down at an open desk.” She says. I make my way across the room, with kids glaring at me. I sit down at my desk, and look at the teacher. “Looks like everyone’s here.” She says, with her computer in her hands.
“My name is Ms. Roheadez. Please read your card from the office, I’ll give you ten minutes to figure it out.” The teacher starts typing away on her computer. So I start to read my card.

Dorm roommates:
The way we do this, is that we use the people you know, and put them in! So your roommates are: Artemis, Carlina, JP, and Mynx Hargladder. Have fun!
After classes, it was lunch time. After I got food, I started looking for my roommates. A kid starts walking towards me. “Hi.” They say. “Can you watch my cat for me?” “Sure?” I get confused, but I take the cat. Where’s that twowalker going? The cat says. “To be honest, I don’t even know.” I meow. I didn’t realize I could meow words, that the cat understood. What? A twowalker understanding me?! The cat meowed. This day is the strangest. But while you understand me, can you tell my twowalker that they need to clip my hair. “Okay.” I meow.
Once the kid came back, the cat and I have been in conversation for awhile. “Oh, thanks for watching him.” They said. “Actually, it’s a her, and she’s pregnant.” I correct. “She also wants her fur clipped.” “I didn’t know you were a cat genius. But, don’t show off, it’s just rude.” The kid says. Don’t leave me with this idiot! The cat exclaims reaching out for me. “I wish I could keep you.” I mew. “What?! You talk cat?!” The kid’s jaw drops. “Uh, yeah. Isn’t that normal?” I ask. “No! You weirdo!” The kids yells at me. All the kids in the lunch room stare at me. “Just leave everyone alone weirdo!” The kid yells at me and walks off. I didn’t know speaking cat was illegal. I think.
hoped you liked it!
If your confused about after Mynx does or says something and you see, ae, aem, or aer, those are Mynx’s pronouns 🙂
I stan.
I like it! It’s really good!
The next chapter will be in Mynx’s POV!
So, it will be everyones POV?
Yes
Chapter Three: We Meet The Perky Fox Principal And The Mean Hyena Girl
The next day, all of us got up super early. We grabbed our stuff and hopped on the bus. Normally, I would skateboard, but, as I discovered a few years ago, it is impossible to skateboard with any kind of luggage beyond a backpack or a small bag. It was a really long ride, but when we got to the school, everyone was wearing different things. Some people were dressed in pants and sweatshirts, while other people were wearing shorts and swimsuits. We walked up the main path, then I heard someone call my name.
“Dria!” I looked up. Sonali was swooping down on her huge snowy owl wings. People oohed and awed as she landed and folded her wings behind her. Loyal nervously fixed his hair. I ran up to Sonali and gave her a hug. “I love your hair.” I said. Sonali’s hair is in two french braids, the white tips blowing in the breeze. “Thanks,” she said.
“Hey! Dria! Sonali!” We hear a shout behind us. It’s our friend Tasmin. Her black bear ears dance as she runs up to us. Lyrical and Loyal run ahead. Tasmin is carrying three duffel bags and a backpack. “Taz!” Sonali and I shout simultaneously. We both run up to hug her. Tasmin lives towards the other side of the city, so we really only see her during school.
“It’s so good to see you guys!” Tasmin exclaims. A bell rings. We look up and make our way into the school. The main entrance is amazing! It’s white with gold trim. It looks a bit like a hotel lobby. There’s a front desk in the middle of the room. Everyone’s eyes widen as we look around. Kids are mingling all around the room. I catch a glimpse of some girls in skinny jeans and tank tops sending everyone nasty glances. “This place is amazing!” Sonali exclaimes. All three of us have huge grins on our faces. A woman in a black suit is standing in the middle of the room- I assume it’s the headmistress, Stephanie Arden. She has auburn hair with fox ears sticking out, and I catch a glimpse of a bushy tail as she turns around. “Alright, students!” she calls out as she steps onto the desk. Everyone stops and looks at her. “You should have received a schedule in your acceptance letter. Today, you will attend homeroom only. The rest of the day will be dedicated to settling in. Classes will not begin until Wednesday. Any luggage you have will stay with you until you can put it all in your dorms. Come see me at the front desk after homeroom for your dorm assignments. Now, off you go!” She jumps down from the desk and people begin moving around the main hall again. “Let’s head to homeroom, guys.” Tasmin says. We all have Mrs. Wavedale for homeroom. As we walk down the hallway, the girls I spotted in the main hall run into another girl walking the same way. Tasmin runs to help her up, while me and Sonali face off with the girls. The lead one has hyena ears and tail, and she’s wearing jeans and a purple tank top with gold designs. She’s talking to the girl she shoved to the ground. “Oh, hon, you really should watch where you’re walking. It could get you into trouble!” She turns to me, Sonali and Tasmin. “Oh, sweetie, who dragged you through the trash?” she asks sweetly. I can tell she’s talking to me. “What about you?” Tasmin shoots back. “Were you born that scruffy or did your parents hate you?” I hide a smile. All three of us are great trash-talkers, but Tasmin is the very best. The girl glares at us. “Where the heck did you guys get those jeans?” she asks. “Were they fifth hand?” This time, she’s talking to all of us. I’m wearing a red tank top, Sonali has on an orange t-shirt, and Tasmin is wearing a tye-dye shirt, but we’re all wearing jeans. The girl is getting ready to say something else, but I cut her off. “Now, now, there’s no need to treat yourself like that!” I say with false sympathy. Her eyes widen so she looks like an owl with a makeup addiction. “You’re a huge brat.” she says, getting in my face. I get right back in hers. “And you’re a frog faced blob of camel spit with a bad makeup addiction.” Her eyes widened even more. I’m seriously getting ready to hit her over the head with my skateboard when the bell rings.
“See you later, hon.” Is the last thing she says to me before sauntering over to her friends and waltzing off. We grab our stuff and head to homeroom.
Big things are about to happen………
i feel like all popular mean girls say ‘hon’
Totallly did not get that from Drew Tanakalots of inspiration from rick riordam 😛
Shinepaw does not have a completely happy life, as viewed in the preview of Shinestar’s Legacy. Here’s a small peak at Chapter 6.
Woodstar shook his head. “We got our territory back, but-” his mew was cut short by a desperate wail.
“Vinewing! Don’t leave me!”
Shinepaw whipped his head, horrified, towards the medicine den. That voice was Hillheart’s.
Choking back sobs, he raced towards the medicine den, with Pigeonpaw on his heels. Shinepaw dashed into the entrance, and saw Hillheart and Streampaw laying next to a broken, bloody body. The body of his father, Vinewing.
Shinepaw’s eyes stretched his eyes wide. Horrified, he whispered, “No… How could this happen?” Pigeonpaw collapsed, and Shinepaw lay next to her, trying to comfort his sister.
Volewhisker edged around the grieving family and hopped out of the den, tending to the other warriors’ injuries.
Shinepaw turned his head towards his mother, who was still pressing her face into Vinewing’s cold fur. Unable to bear the pain he also lay next to Vinewing, hoping to keep the body warm.
“How could you leave me?” he whispered.
Woodstar appeared in the den, eyes dull. “Let’s bring his body to the center of the camp, then we can sit vigil for him.”
Hillheart got up, staggering, and nudged Shinepaw and Streampaw away. The littermates watched as Hillheart helped the Clan leader drag their father’s body out of the den.
Leafthistle bounded towards them. “Come and get some fresh ki- Vinewing?” Her eyes clouded with grief, and Shinepaw remembered that Vinewing was Leafthistle’s mentor before Shinepaw was even born.
Leafthistle helped Hillheart and Woodstar set Vinewing’s body in the center of the camp. Cats began coming over and mourning the dead cat.
“You were a good friend,” Pondeye mewed, eyes sad.
“You always cared for me.” Lionflame, Vinewing’s brother, crouched by Vinewing’s body.
Shinepaw, Pigeonpaw, Streampaw, and Hillheart settled beside Vinewing.
“You were a great father to your kits,” Hillheart murmured. Shinepaw felt another wave of grief as he remembered all the times he had played with Vinewing, all the times he hunted alongside his father.
Pigeonpaw sniffed and whispered, “He was so fun to play with.”
Streampaw added, “And to hunt with.”
Shinepaw, finding his voice, mewed. “May StarClan light your path. May you find good hunting, swift running, and shelter when you sleep.”
His Clanmates repeated the saying.
“May StarClan light your path, Vinewing. May you find good hunting, swift running, and shelter when you sleep.”
As one, the Clan mourned the death of the brave warrior as the moon climbed the dark, silent sky.
So you see, this isn’t a book where the main characters are happy for life. Instead, Shinepaw will later become sadder. And then a bunch of things happen.
HOW COULD YOU DO THIS?
Actually cool chapter
actually its part of the chapter, but thanks XD

ha lol ok
“This way,” Brokenstar called to the two young kits as he led them through the forest.
Marigoldkit and Mintkit gazed around with wide eyes. This was the first time they had been out of the camp.
“Everything is so…big.” Marigoldkit whispered.
Mintkit nodded. “And it smells so, so…”
“Hurry up!” Brokenstar snapped from up ahead.
If the kits had been only a little older and more experienced (inasmuch as a kit can be experienced) they might have wondered why Brokenstar seemed so eager to get them away from camp. After all, kits went out training all the time. Not as young as they were, but still.
But they weren’t, and so they didn’t.
“Where are we going?” Mintkit asked when he and his sister had caught up to the ShadowClan leader.
“Training,” Brokenstar replied.
“I know! But where? Are we going to train with the other apprentices?” The little gray kit asked eagerly.
“No,” Brokenstar replied.
“How far away from camp are we going?” Marigoldkit interjected anxiously. “Brightflower says we’re too young to go out of camp yet.”
Brokenstar hissed. “Who is Clan leader, me or Brightflower?”
Marigoldkit blinked. “You. But-”
Brokenstar interrupted. “And do you want to be evaluated to see if you are ready to start training or not?”
“I do!” Marigoldkit assured him. “But-”
A slightly older, slightly more experienced cat would have known not to argue with Brokenstar, especially when he got that look in her eyes. But Marigoldkit was very young, and she didn’t.
“Then follow me!” Brokenstar swept the two kits ahead of him with his tail. They walked on for a while, the silence broken only by Brokenstar’s occasional exhortations to walk faster. But they (mostly) didn’t mind. They couldn’t wait till they were able to start learning how to fight and hunt. Besides, they were too distracted by the sounds and smells they had only heard of until now. They heard the rustling of leaves, the call of birds, and was that a mouse?
Mintkit leapt.
“I almost got it!” he wailed.
“‘Almost’ catches no prey,” Brokenstar meowed shortly. Then he added, “But if you were a little bigger, you would certainly have caught it.”
Mintkit glowed.
It was true; even now, as a small, still-nursing kit, Mintkit had come so close to catching the mouse that he had a drop of its blood and a few strand of its fur stuck to his tiny claws. As a warrior, he would be a great hunter.
“Come on,” Brokenstar called to the kits as they inspected the mouse hairs on Mintkit’s claws. “You can explore later.”
“We weren’t exploring,” Mintkit started to squeak, but was interrupted by Marigoldkit asking, “What’s that smell?”
“Fox,” the ShadowClan leader replied.
“What’s a fox?” Marigoldkit wanted to know. “Where is it?”
“Not nearby.”
“Are we going to hunt it?”
“No.”
“What are we going to do?” Mintkit piped up.
“You,” Brokenstar growled, “are going to be walking very quietly until you can’t smell anything else besides fox scent.”
“Why?” Marigold asked.
Brokenstar gritted his teeth. “Because it’s part of the test.”
Marigoldkit’s mouth opened slightly. Then she and Mintkit walked as quietly as they could for some time.
Finally Mintkit whispered loudly, “I can’t smell anything except the fox.”
“Good.” Brokenstar paced around, sniffing.
“What do we do now?” Mintkit asked. “Do we fight each other?”
Marigoldkit shied away from him. “I don’t want us to fight each other.”
“Not for real,” her brother assured her. “Just to see if we’re any good.” He turned to the ShadowClan leader. “Right?”
Brokenstar paced closer, his claws unsheathed. Mintkit had never noticed how big his claws were before. Why hadn’t he ever noticed that before?
“…Right?” he mewed again, uncertainly.
“You should know,” Brokenstar meowed softly, “that I am truly sorry about this. You would have been strong warriors, fine hunters and fighters.” He nodded to the mouse hairs still stuck to Mintkit’s claws. His hushed tone was somehow more frightening than if he had raged and yowled. “You would have made ShadowClan strong. But that mangy old medicine cat keeps getting in my way, keeps trying to stop me, so I have to stop her. It’s the only way ShadowClan will be as strong as it was always meant to be.”
“What do you mean?” Marigoldkit would have asked, but her mouth was dry. Around them, the forest was silent, as if the surrounding wildlife expected something terrible to happen and was hiding, except for Marigoldkit’s heartbeat pounding in her ears and for her brother’s fast breathing next to her. They huddled close to each other. An odd, terrifying light burned in Brokenstar’s eyes. This wasn’t how training was supposed to be, not at all.
“I regret this,” Brokenstar told them. “But it must be done, for the good of the Clan.”
He locked eyes with the kits.
Then he lunged.
this is really good, and kind of sad too 🙁
Thanks.
