Yikes, I thought Darktail was a Clan cat all along! I hate how he led Billystorm to his death and I already ship Hawkwing and Pebblepaw 😛 Duskpaw’s death was so sad and literally Hawkwing and Pebblepaw are in the exact same situation. I feel really bad for Leafstar. I also noticed in the allegiances that Fallowfern lost her sight – wonder how that happened? Also, what do you think the animals are? I’m thinking maybe wolves but I don’t know. I found Duskpaw’s obsession with kittypet food really cute and I wish he’d been able to meet Cloudtail at some point 😛 What do you think of the prophecy? It almost matches up with the one in the TAS prologue, but not quite. Sparks sparks sparks… Sparkpelt but more Alderheart 😛

But yeah, most of what you said was what I was thinking too! I think that those animals are raccoons though, or ferrets. And also, what Pebblepaw and Hawkwing said when they lost their loved ones were pretty much exactly the same. 😛
When Hawkwing was convinced Darktail was going to save them all, I was just like, “NOOOOOO DON’T DO THAT YOU DON’T KNOW HOW WRONG YOU ARE!”
I liked Duskpaw from the start…it was a big shame he died DX
The other animals are likely raccoons. As for the spark of the burned out fire, I am fairly sure it is in reference to Alderheart. He is Firestar’s grandson and a medicine cat. And the prophecies for both the VOS books goes right along with the one in HJ.
I think that Mintfur might be Mistfeather’s mate though it could be Honeytail…). I also think that Hawkwing’s littermates could be Blossompaw and maybe Parsleypaw and his parents could be Plumwillow and possibly Sparrowpelt….I don’t know, what do guys think?
Hawkwing’s littermates are Blossompaw, Duskpaw. and Cloudpaw and his parents are Cherrytail and Sharpclaw.

I read the beginning of Hawkwing’s Journey online. There it is confirmed that Hawkpaw from Ravenpaw’s Farewell and Hawkwing are the same cat. Let me tell you that lots of tragic things happen. For example…Billystorm and Duskpaw die in the first 8 chapters 🙁

I think that Violetpaw’s and Twigpaw’s parents are going to be revealed. I do not think it is Hawkwing’s. I find Darktail more likely as their father or Mistfeather and his mate. I know Mistfeather’s mate is dead, but there is a possibility she didn’t die and had her kits far away, then somehow died.
I am getting this book the day it comes out, I hope!
She could have been injured severely and Mistfeather thought she was dead, but she was alive and then died getting her kits? Or she died getting the kits and Mistfeather abandoned them for some reason…idk xD
I don’t think that’s how she died because they never found her body. She was probably weak and had no one to hunt for her, so she got attacked by those foxes or got run over, something. If she was a SkyClan cat I feel like she wouldn’t be stupid enough to venture onto the thunderpath, so I think that their mother was attacked by the foxes from TAQ or perhaps she even fell into a deep part of the tunnels and hit her head or drowned.
Crossing the Thunderpath isn’t a matter of being stupid, sometimes it’s ncessary to go hunt or to travel soemwhere, Clan cats do it often enough when they have to. And if a car comes along, there isn’t always enough warning. It very well could be how she died.
Or she could have gotten carried away by a car..
Man. Erin Hunter killed off or made the following cats leave:
Sharpclaw, Bouncefire, Echosong, Firefern, Rileypool, Billystorm, and Duskpaw. I will not reveal if there are more…yet 🙂

At least we know now that Hawkwing and Pebbleshine are the parrents of our lost SkyClan kits.
Sad that it was so obvious. Would have been more of a surprise if they were two of Mintfurs litter or something like that.

The names are beautiful though, but many of the cats with awesome names die. I like Finpaw. Thats a cool name.
I could see that. But then that would mean Pebbleshine died. Possibly on her own journey to find the other Clan cats? Less than 24 hours until I can get my hands on the book. The suspense is killing me.
Do we find out who Mistfeather’s mate is? And who are the mates of the queens in the nursery? Oh, and what’s Bellapaw’s warrior name?
