So I’m trying to breed a 5IV male Magikarp for a Masuda Method project I was going to do (I already had a perfect female one), but at that point I was just trying to get a 5IV male, not a shiny.
First egg I hatch was, I kid you not, A SHINY MAGIKARP.
Sadly it wasn’t a perfect male (it was a 3IV female), but it’s still pretty cool to look at (also, I had the Shiny Charm on me, but still, first egg?) (the Magikarp was also my second shiny I found myself in Sun)
I’ve had so many shiny magikarps at this point they’ve lost all meaning. Casual playthrough? Shiny magikarp. Wonder trade? Shiny magikarp. Chain fishing? Too many shiny magikarp XD I love shiny Garados though so I guess it’s okay? 😛
Starting to get the same thing here: hatched a 5IV shiny Magikarp recently (and also contributed to the (super easy) Global Mission) 😛 At least it’s good in the Battle Spot 😀 (It’s also in a Lure Ball 😀 )
I have no shiny Pokemon…yet.
It’s so hard to meet one in Pokemon Go.
I’m jealousMy Pokemon Go hasn’t released breeding…not even trading. 🙁

The other day, I caught my first shiny and it was a Gumshoos……….
I take it back, Gumshoos is actually my second shiny. My first was Yanma….
Shiny Gumshoos is obviously the best shiny 😉 My first shiny was an Onix but I lost it when I reset my copy of SoulSilver.
Same, my first S&M shiny was also a Gumshoos 😛 My first ever shiny, though, was a Shiny Gurdurr in Victory Road, Pokemon X. But I lost when I reset the game.
My next Shiny: Gurdurr, I kid you not 😛
Does anyone think it’s weird that I caught a Dragonite right next to a pokestop and it was a high level?
So uh I’ve never played Pokemon in my life (save for that one time when I was 5 or 6) but I’ve been hearing stuff about the Lavender Town theme for years so today I looked it up expecting something like the catacombs theme from Kirby 64 but it actually sounded really good???
I honestly don’t mind the original Lavender Town music, but it is a little creepy 😛 I’ve seen way too many videos on it for it to be that scary.

I just went on Battle Spot…
accidentally using my Battle Tree team.
I facepalmed so hard 😛
And strangely right after the team selection process (the part where you decide which Pokemon in your team are going to battle) the game seemingly freezed on a white screen while the music kept on playing… ??? I was able to get back to Festival Plaza by disconnecting, though.
I’ve had a similar white screen happen to me but on ORAS. I think it was because of a connection issue because something like that happened on wonder trade too.

But now I’m paranoid that I looked like a really salty disconnecter 😛 Oh well, I probably didn’t look so bad since it was before the battle started. I’d hate to be that type of guy.
For whatever reason, I seem to get lucky fairly often through Wonder Trade and receive shinnies….I’ve received a shiny Eevee that’s now a Glaceon, a shiny Ploitoed and a few others that I can’t seem to recall at the moment………. Oh and I recently received a Lugia……
My best shiny from wonder trade was either my shiny Honchkrow, Darkrai or Kyurem. I love them all 😛
I like Honchkrow, but I think the bright pink kinda throws off the whole design of shadiness and crime 😛
I also don’t trust those shiny legendaries 😛
I don’t use the legendaries that often mainly because they might be hacked and I don’t want to get reported everywhere 😛 at least they’re pretty to look at, haha

I find most things from Wonder Trades quite dubious, especially shinies 😛 I only really trust things that look like breedjects or wild Pokemon 😛

People called it Stone Miss for a reason, kids.
Luckily I did win the game later, looked like the guy forgot to give the Charizardite Y to his Charizard, and I also dodged a Focus Miss, so I guess it’s fair 😛 But I am actually considering replacing Stone Miss with Rock Slide since I already have a way to deal with Mega Salamence, so I don’t really think I need the extra power.

But usually I just play Battle Spot (I don’t see as much evasion/luck-based strategies as people seem to think there are.)
