A little rebranding!

 

R.I.P. Pokemon Go

From 1st May 2021, fan fiction comments will no longer be moderated on BlogClan.

    • I do it a bit, but I can never really stick to one team, and I’m pretty bad at teambuilding, and breeding takes a long time, and my DS’ battery is dead, so I guess the answer’s no 😛

  • As a new player I have two questions.
    Should you max out the combat points on your Pokemon before evolving them or just evolve (if you can) no matter what their CP level is?
    Can you go back to the same pokestop repeatadly to get more balls or do you have to visit a multitude of other ones in-between?

    • I recommend not evolving any Pokemon until you get to a higher level, because the Pokemon you will find at around level five are much stronger than the ones you’ll find at level one or two. If you plan on playing a lot, save those candies for when you’re around level ten or fifteen when you will actually find Pokemon with competitive potential. As for combat points, it really doesn’t matter when you max them out (as far as I know.) I usually wait until they’re fully evolved, just to make sure they’re worth maxing out.

      Once you visit a Pokestop, you aren’t able to get more items from it for a set amount of time (possibly fifteen minutes or half an hour.) Visiting other stops doesn’t affect this amount of time.

      • Thanks Sunnystripe but now I am really confused!
        Have visited 2 different stops. First was several days apart and the second about 24 hours apart and didn’t get anything on the second visit to either?

        I am level 6 and have transferred a lot of Caterpie, Weedle, Pidgey and Rattata (and as a result have ran low on balls) which seem to be the common ones in my area to get the candy, have also caught several standard Pokemon such as Machop, Drowzee and Eevee where their CP was a lot higher than one’s I had caught earlier. Have also caught a couple of evolved such as Pigeotto and a Golbat which has a lower CP level than a Zubat I caught the day after.

        • Uh oh! Either that was a glitch or you didn’t do it right. It took me like ten tries to actually figure out how to get items from a Pokestop. You need to be within range, and you need to spin the circle thing. To me, none of that was obvious at all. XD

          Yeah, for Pokemon that are common in your area, it’s fine to evolve them at an early level because you’ll be able to get more candies easily. But for the uncommon ones, it’s smart to wait as long as you can to make sure you won’t encounter a stronger Pokemon.

          Anything else you’re confused about? I don’t know everything, but I might have some answers. 😛

  • I’m extremely excited, because I just caught a fully-evolved, 400 CP Flareon; caught a Pikachu; and hatched a Jigglypuff. Today has been a good day. ^-^

  • Is Pokémon Go fun? I tried to download it but my iPod is being extremely annoying. Oh and how do I change my logo thingy from hello-kitty?

      • It is extremely fun, but you may not be able to play it with an iPod, since the game needs the internet in order to work, and I don’t think iPods have data…? At least, mine didn’t, but the newer ones might be different.

    I almost cried when ash almost died (hey that rhymed! And again!) being turned to stone. Too bad his memories got wiped from his brain. Pikachu took those slaps like a boss 😛. “I will remember this possibly forever, but I think it’s best you don’t remember.” Or something like that.
    I highly recommend it for Pokemon fans. It’s awesome. I only watched il up to 63, and no banned episodes.

    For me, I like Squirtle, Cynaquil, Treecko, Chimchar, SNIVY, Froakie and Litten. 🙂
