You were just minding your own business, as usual, when all of a sudden, you aren’t.

A cloud of smoke appears, devouring you whole. When it clears, you see a huge apartment building right in front of you. Where are you, you wonder, and why are you here?

You walk cautiously to the door, which looks new. Hmmm. You open it curiously, peeking inside. An arm grabs you, pulling you in.

…………

Inside, a young teenage girl is attached to the arm. She smiles at you, greeting you and calmly telling you that you were chosen to live here with her for six months.

“Six months?!” You shout loudly. “What?! Why me?”

She simply tells you that you were chosen, then leaves the room. You follow her, afraid of being alone in the slightly creepy house-apartment-building.

She walks into a living room, with several others. She sits next to a teenage guy, who is slightly taller than her, you note.

“Hi there, friends. My name is Rose, and this guy is Carl,” she says, grinning widely and gesturing to the guy next to her. “You guys are gonna live with us here for six months.”

“Wait-“ Another person questions them, obviously.

“Don’t worry, it’s only six months. No time will pass on Earth. Unfortunately, you are unable to return until the time is up, so sorry if you are asking to leave. Anyways, it’s time for bed now, so why don’t you go up to your rooms?”

As you head up there, you ponder your situation. Who is Rose, really? And Carl? Why were you chosen? One thing’s for sure, this’ll be a loooooong six months.

Life With Rose is a slice-of-life roleplay where your character has been summoned to live temporarily with Rose and Carl for six months. Lots of weirdness ensues, of course, but there has to be a reason for the summoning, right?

Oh, and fictional characters may or may not appear. Hey, what’d you expect?

Some ground rules before we play:

1. All posts must be BC-appropriate, of course.
2. Romance is allowed, but keep it PG for the kids, guys.
3. No godmodding or using other’s characters unless you have permission.
4. Fictional characters are only to be played by me unless you are told otherwise. They won’t be really useful for the plot, anyways. 😛
5. Not really a rule but we will progress through the RP in weeks. The rule part is that you must post at least once a week, or else your character will be “frozen” until you RP. 😛 hopefully that wasn’t too confusing
