  • Rainstar stepped out of her den and looked out into the foggy morning. She shook out her pelt and sniffed the fresh air.

    • Silverpaw-
Silverpaw yawned and rolled over in her mossy den. Her blue eyes opened, glancing around the misty den and she sighed. With a quick push, she was up and on her feet, giving a slight shake to get the bedding out of her grey pelt. She turned towards the entrance and willed her body into motion, padding out into the clearing and pasting on a smile when she noticed Rainstar.

      • Rainstar noticed Silverpaw and acknowledged her with a nod.

    • Honeypaw watched them wistfully, before walking over to Rainstar “Do you need me for anything?” she asked, hopefully. She hadn’t made any friends since moving to the apprentice den

      • “Sure! Why don’t you go with Hailstorm and Streamsong on the Dawn patrol. That is, if they ever wake up. Hailstorm! Streamsong!” Rainstar shouted toward the warriors den.

        • “Hailstorm? Streamsong?” Rainstar walked to the warriors den and gasped. “Their gone! All of them! Their just, gone!!”

            • Honeypaw immediantly started darting around the camp, “They aren’t in camp!” she cried. Her eyes started to fill with fear, “What happened?!” she wailed

    • “Everyone, stay calm.” Rainstar jumped up onto a tall rock. “Every cat who is in camp right now, please come under this rock and call out your name.”

  • “OK then, every cat come with me. We are going to find the lost warriors!” Rainstar took a last forlorn look at the deserted camp, then padded through the brambles into the forest.

    • ~Rainingmist~
Rainingmist dashed out of the Warriors’ den and sprinted after Rainstar. “I’m so sorry, how could I have overslept at a time like this!” she apologized frantically.
“I’ll try my best to find a trace of them,” she promised solemnly.

  • As she neared the end of Mistclan territory she smelled a faint scent. One she had smelled before. “Get down!” She hissed to Honeypaw and Whirlpaw. “Stay alert. We don’t know what’s ahead.”

    • ~Rainingmist~
Rainingmist’s ears pricked and she sniffed the air. She gave Rainstar a small nod to let her know she’d detected the smell, too.
She crouched down beside the others, flattening her ears so their tufted tips wouldn’t give her away.

    • Rainstar waited alertly as a fox slinked out from the undergrowth and trotted out into the open. It stopped and lifted its snout, and Rainstar prayed it wouldn’t smell them. Then it shook its head and walked onto Sunclan territory. When it was out of range Rainstar let out a sigh of relief and turned to the others. “Rainingmist.” She said urgently. “Did you see or hear anything strange in the warriors den last night? It seems that our clanmates have disappeared.”

      • “Not that I can remember,” Rainingmist replied, tail drooping with disappointment. “Wait…” she stopped, her whiskers suddenly twitching as she grasped a faint memory, “I think I felt someone trod on my tail!”

    • “Swanheart” Rainstar called out to the Queen. “Where have you been? With that fox around, you can’t go in the woods alone. Especially because of your kits.”

    • Rainstar sniffed the fresh morning air and jumped up to the highledge “May all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here for a clan meeting,” she called.

(Sorry I’ve been inactive I’ve just been busy this summer)

    • “I have decided to choose a deputy.” She spoke loud and clear. “The new deputy of Mistclan will be Suncliff. Suncliff, I know you will be a great deputy and one day a great leader.” She looked at suncliff and waited for her response.

  • Rainstar crouched lower as a fox slinked out from underneath the brambles. It trotted into the open and lifted it’s head. Rainstar prayed that it wouldn’t smell them, and after a few seemingly long moments, the fox dropped it’s head and continued on, heading for Sunclan territory. Once it was out of range Rainstar let out a sigh of relief and spoke. “Rainingmist, did you see or hear anything last night in the warriors den? It appears that our clanmates have disapeared.”

      • “That was a fox. You must never approach one because they are very dangerous and can gobble up apprentices like you in one bite.” Rainstar stopped noticed Honeypaws frightened look. “But don’t worry, we have strong warriors that will protect you. Or we did have warriors….” Rainstar trailed off and shifted her gaze toward Rainingmist. “You said you felt something trod on your tail last night… did you smell a cat, or maybe a badger, or fox?”

        • “I felt a faint whiff of a wild animal… although I do admit I thought I was dreaming. Whatever stepped on me felt too light to be a badger. I think it could have been a fox,” Rainingmist said thoughtfully.

          • “Ok…..” Rainstar paced around a bit and thought. “Well, I think the best solution is to follow the fox and see if we can find it’s den- maybe the lost warriors will be there!” She looked to the small band of cats for their opinions.

            • Suddenly Rainstar smelled a familiar scent. “Everyone!” She called. “I think I just got a whiff of some of our clanmates! Follow me!” Rainstar rushed back in the direction of camp

            • Minnowpaw had just woken up. She saw that lots of cats were missing, so she went to find the patrol. Eventually, she caught up with them. “Wha…what’s going on?” She stammered nervously.

              • “Minnowpaw!” Rainstar was overjoyed to find one of her lost clanmates. “Where were you! Nevermind, you can tell me later.” She then explained that most of the warriors had gone missing and they were trying to find them when they had run into a fox. “I then smelled a warrior in the direction of camp.. and that’s where we are going now!” Rainstar ran ahead.

                • “Rainstar,” Minnowpaw mews. “I was late because last night I stayed up late to look at the stars, and I over slept. Anyway, while I was looking at them I think I saw a flash of reddish-brown fur!”

  • Troutwhisker stumbled groggy out of the warriors den and stretched opening his jaw wide showing yellow poking teeth.

  • Once Rainstar reached camp she saw Troutwhisker. “Troutwhisker, I thought I smelled you!” She mewed. “Do you know where the others are?”

    • “We still don’t know where the others went” said Honeypaw, worried for her mentor, “anything could have happened to them”

    • “Let’s follow the fox’s scent trail… maybe that will lead us to the other warriors!” Rainstar said. “They could have been captured..or worse.” She shuddered at the thought of not having a clan anymore.

      • Mintwater and Copperstream burst into camp, frantically looking around. “Where is everyone? What happened?”
Mintwater gave an apologetic nod to Rainstar. “We were out hunting late,” she mewed.

        • “Thank Starclan you came back! Our other warriors have gone missing! We saw a fox on our way out to look for them and We are going to try and follow the fox’s scent trail. Mintwater, will you stay here and watch bubblekit? Copperstream, Honeypaw, troutwhisker, and minnowpaw, come with me. We’re going to find that fox’s den.”

          • Mintwater nodded and herded Bubblekit into the nursery. “But Mintwater! I want to go with the patrol!” Bubblekit complained.
Copperstream quickly padded behind Rainstar and began nervously twitching his tail, waiting for the patrol to leave.

              • Whirlpaw paced nervously around the medicine den. She had chosen to say behind because she was a medicine cat apprentice.

    • Rubbing his eyes, Scorchdash raised his head. “Where am I?” Then he remebered. “I went hunting last night when I couldn’t sleep! I must have nodded off anyway!” Rushing to his paws, Scorchdash started to make his way back to the camp, to find it empty except for a few cats.
