Spirit just backed into a corner, shaking with fear, and wouldn’t say any more. Then a pure white cat with black ears jumped up onto the fence. “You saw Cody. He’s the…. villain around here. Don’t mess with him or you’ll live to regret it.”

How to play: I give you four hex codes (and images of the colors to use the eyedropper tool if you need them), and you use all of these colors to make a cat. You must use that shade, but you’re allowed to use black and white for outlines and shading/lighting.

I just realized that I took these at a weird angle. I tried to do it at a normal angle, but my shadow kept getting in the way, and it looked a lot more unclean that way, so it’s just going to be at a weird angle.
I don’t mind. As long as I can still see the picture.

yeah, i posted the link on the art page a couple of days before you asked that, actually. i left for a bit and was mostly inactive but my contest is still running, since this round only has 2 entries
clearly there are no new entries, i’ll go ahead and end it. eve won, congrats eve! that concludes my art contest. feel free to claim the secret page.

Moon-
Moon slinked through the shadows of the Twolegplace. She paused, sniffing the air for dogs or other hostile cats. But what she didn’t sniff for was Twoleg. She was snatched up from behind, legs dangling awkwardly in the air. The Twoleg murmured a strange word to her, probably to reprimand her for trying to escape the den with its overwhelming smells and sights. -Mouse dung!- she thought, trying to wriggle free.
Spirit-
Spirit wandered amiably through the yard of her housefolks nest, then jumped up on the fence with a mew and swish of her tail. “Hello Moon!” she called out, seeing her neighbor pass by in the arms of a Twoleg. Moon just growled in response. Spirit sighed. Poor Moon. She never was quite right for the role of house pet. She had been adopted when she was found laying in Spirit’s yard, her paw bleeding. She never talked about what happened that day when she was found, but Spirit didn’t ask. She was happy to lay in the shade of the willow tree in her yard, never questioning her role in life.
Ember carefully pounced up onto her fence, “Hello” she meowed to Spirit, “I’m Ember, what’s your name?” She had only just arrived a couple of days ago, and was tired of lounging around inside.
“I’m Spirit.” she mewed in reply. “Its nice to meet you. Would you like me to give you a tour of the neighborhood?” She swished her tail, waiting for an answer.
Ember nodded enthusiastically, “ok!”
Spirit-
“Alright lets begin!” She jumped up onto the fence and leaped down on the other side. “Follow me.” She led Ember down an alleyway, pointing with her tail to a large building. “That’s what Twolegs call a restaurant. See those scrapcans over there? The Twolegs throw out SO MUCH delicious food there.” She padded in the other direction, toward a cluster of houses. “Right there is a dog’s nest, so avoid that den. He has a reputation for chasing cats, and the thing is HUGE. Next to it is some cats who live in the street that aren’t very friendly. Avoid them.” Spirit skirted around a Thunderpath, beckoning Ember with her tail. “Right there is Moon’s house, but she doesn’t talk much. She was found in my nest with her paws bleeding, and was adopted.” Spirit continued showing Ember around the part of the city they lived in, until it got too dark and they had to head home.
“this place is so cool!” Ember meowed, “how do you remember all the turns?” She jumped, eyes wide with fear, as a car rumbled past, and dashed behind a building.
“Hmm.. muscle memory, I suppose. You’ll get the hang of it.”
Spirit meowed kindly. *Ember then jumped behind the building*
She padded after Ember calmly. “Don’t worry. The housefolk here would never run over a cat. You’re perfectly safe here.”
“Don’t be so sure about that.” a cat meowed from the shadows. “I’ve seen some things you could never imagine.”
“What things?” Ember asked curiously, “Who are you?”
“Lets just say that the things I have seen would turn your fur white.” the stranger mewed. Spirit realized she was shaking a little bit. “And” the stranger continued, “who I am is something that you two pretty kitties wouldn’t want to know…” Spirit’s tail bushed up in horror as she realized who this intruder was. She turned and raced around the corner and kept running until she got home.
Ember bounded after Spirit, “Who was that?” She gasped, trying to catch her breath.
*sorry I’ve been on vacation*
Spirit-

Ember glanced around nervously, “I should be getting home” she meowed, “My house folk will be worried.”
-Saffron
Saffron padded across the pebbly street, joining her brother Thorne on the other side. She glanced nervously at the neighboorhood. “Are you sure this place is safe?” they asked. Thorne’s brown tabby tail bushed a little bit, but his voice was steady as he pressed against her. “I have a good feeling about this place,” he meowed, steering her forward. “No Twoleg will harm us here. As long as we keep a low profile, we’ll be alright.”
Remy turned a corner and ran straight into them, “Sorry” he meowed apologetically, “I’m so sorry, are you two all right?”
