I really hope Bramble and Squirrel die this arc, they’re both slowly becoming unbearable to me lol

Bramble became unbearable sooner, but it seems to also be happening to Squirrel now.

I want either Spotstar(been a while since we’ve had a young leader, but she’ll need an app.), Cinderstar, or Twigstar

Also, Tigerstar2 should die this arc, I want Cloverstar

On this rant, I guess I should list off all characters I want to be dead/retire this arc.

    Kill:

    ThunderClan –

Jayfeather: I mean like Alderheart can take over and he’s been alive for 15 years already. He’s only a month older than I am!

Lionblaze: I want him to like die in a battle he started, also he has way to many kids who never do anything 🙁

Squirrelflight – I already said it above but she’s getting ruined for the sake of the plot and I don’t like it. She’s getting Onestar’ed and I’m gonna hate it. I know she had this whole thing in her SE about not dying, but that was like 3 years ago so I think she can die now.

Bramblestar – I want him to die as an elder(if he retires as leader, because he has like 8 lives left) due to a reckless plan Nightheart made. He is getting better from ruined to I can stand him a little, but he’s a first arc cat so he needs to go soon.

Brightheart, Brackenfur, and Cloudtail – They don’t due anything, Thornclaw is already a WAY more exciting elder and he’s only been an elder for one book. I don’t mind keeping Thornclaw alive for one more arc because I’m interested to see how his views will shape the younger generation of the clan. Also, I forgot about Brackenfur lol

  • PART 2

A few uninteresting or annoying warriors, I’d prefer:

    – Whitewing or Birchfall (Boring, don’t do anything)
    – Cherryfall or Molewhisker(let one of them get a forbidden mate tho so that PoppyKin/DaisyKin lives on)
    – Bumblestripe (He just sucks and I don’t like him, plus we already have a better version of him because of Thornclaw)
    – Blossomfall (Annoying, and doesn’t do anything. Actually I wonder if she’s gonna team up with Berryheart, those two would make a great team lol. She can team up with Berryheart and then die)
    – Thriftear, Eaglewing, Honeyfur, Hollytuft, Leafshade, or Plumstone (At least 2-3 of these cat need to die, I don’t care who)

    RiverClan –

Brackenpelt – Only because her name is boring, sorry c(:

Any warrior who isn’t Fognose, Podlight, Icewing, Minnowtail, Harelight, or Splashtail – Fognose, Splashtail, and Podlight were on the Reedwhisker patrol so they’ll be important. I want either Harelight or Icewing as leader(because then there would be two Harestars lol) and Minnowtail and Mousewhisker need to become mates.

    ShadowClan –

    Pouncestep – Unimportant

    Hollowflight – Same as Pouncestep

    Tigerstar2 – for Cloverstar 😀

Tawnypelt – Either die or retire some some younger BG characters can do something
Also she’s a first arc cat

Yarrowleaf, Snowbird, Scorchfur, Sparrowtail, Stonewing, Grassheart, Oakfur, and Whorlpelt – Some of these cats can die or retire, I literally can’t remember anything about these cats from the past arcs.

    • I hope they thriftear or plum stone, they have a fun scene in Graystripes vow and are best friends!

Also Sparrowtail is sunbeams father so I hope he doesn’t die either.

      • Typo, I hope the don’t kill thriftear or plum stone

    • I’m quite fond of Whitewing after Sunnyfall’s video about her, so preferably i’d like her to stay alive. But, also, i don’t want her to go to the elders den while Cloud plus Bright are still there.

    • I agree with getting rid of Tiggerstar(that was not a typo; I think that would be a funny name to call him) and beginning Cloverstar’s reign

    • I also want Icestar! She was starting to become interesting in BC and then they just threw her on the background again!

  • PART 3

    SkyClan –

Frecklewish, Hawkwing, and Leafstar – Look I LOVE Leafstar but she’s been the leader for so long. Hawkwing can maybe live, but just as long as he doesn’t become the leader for like the next 2 arcs. Two medics are too much for SkyClan, it is better to let one die and let the other one have some spotlight.

Macgyver – Retire because he’s one of the only former Daylight warriors remaining, but he’s also kinda old and I think being an elder might give him the chance to tell cats of Daylight Warriors so SkyClan can bring them back.

Sparrowpelt, Dewspring, Plumwillow, Harrybrook, Sagenose, Blossomheart, Cherrytail, Cloudmist, Rabbitleap, Wrenflight, Reedclaw, Mintfur, Needlesplash, Tinycloud, Palesky, Bellaleaf, Quailfeather, Pigeonfoot, Gravelnose, Sunnypelt, and Nectarsong. – Half of these cats need to die because SkyClan has so many unused BG characters. If they killed off at least half it might be easier to give the rest of the clan exciting character traits.

    WindClan –

Crowfeather – Old, Second arc cat.

Any of their warriors are up for killing, it’ll make it easier for WindClan to have more interesting characters. They haven’t had one since like Breezepelt who was introduced more than 10 years ago.

And that is my list. Not all of these cats need to die, but if at least 3-4 cats die in each book I think it should be easier to make the clans feel more alive with actual cats in their clans besides just some names. Maybe they can have another yellowcough/greencough thing, that hasn’t happened in a while. Some don’t even need to die, they just need to like leave the clans or something.

  • REPOST because it was the last post last page

I hope there are some scenes of Finchlight and Sunbeam interacting in the next book because I think Finchlight x Sunbeam would be so cute.

Finchlight could maybe help with Sunbeam’s self-worth issues and be a positive influence on her/and her mental health.

To be honest I just want Sunbeam to get some better friends, but also Sunbeam x Finchlight would be cute

    Ship name question:

    A) Finchsun
    B) Sunfinch
    C) Finchbeam
    D) Sunlight
    E) Other(Specify)

I personally like D the best

      • Yeah, I wanted evil sibling Finchlight too. I’m not sure if we’re gonna get it, but if not then it be cute for her to form some relationships outside of her own clan

        • I kinda hope Finchlight doesn’t end up being a villain because I really like her so far.
A cross-clan relationship might be cute though! 😀 I’m thinking FinchXGray might be interesting to watch unfold as they’re both the protagonists’ siblings so we’d get to see how Flame/Frost feel differently about parallel situations.

          • That does sound cool! =)

            Raise a glass to freedom

    • Sun x Finch does sound like it could be kinda sweet 🥺

      Raise a glass to freedom

  • what i want to happen in this arc; PART 1

    thunderclan:

I want both bramblestar and squirrelflight to die so we can see a new leader!!!!! we have had the same 2 for like, 6 series!

personally, i think an Ivystar or twigstar would be nice

leafstar has been the leader for a while, If We could have a hawkstar and his deputy would be dewspring maybe?

All the thunderclan cats that need to die already:

    bramblestar
He has been alive since the first series…..

    Idk about squirrelflight…
she is just getting old, and I feel like there is not much potential left in her.

    Thornclaw
he is just Soooooooooo old….. (and p.s, for anyone who didn’t realize, he is 8 YEARS OLDER than blossomfall!!!!)

    cloudtail
he just doesn’t have any more potential or anything he could do for the clans anymore. he is also very old

Is brackenfur still alive? yea him. he needs to go. he’s done.

Some Characters that desperately need development:

-whitewing (turned into a mom-like character)
-Lionblaze (Stopped being more level-headed for no reason, just suddenly becomes bossy?)
-sparkpelt (her character used to be more interesting, but now it just feels like she is moping over larksong and flickerkit)
-Twigbranch (we never see any of her, and she still has potential! she is still young!)

    • 1: Thornclaw is not 8 years older than blossomfall.
2: Sparkpelt has post pardum depression.

    • Oooo yes I really want Twigbranch to have kits. She NEEDS them. Poor Finleap has been waiting a while…
      Sparkpelt: What Ladybugpaw said.

  • For some reason I suddenly want Nightheart to get into a forbidden relationship with a loner/rogue. Only cross-clan relationships were addressed in the code change, and the Clans still have a negative and stereotypical view towards loners and rogues. Nightheart getting into a relationship with one and changing the Clans’ views would be absolutely awesome.

    • That actually does sound like a cool idea! And it honestly sounds like something Nightheart would do. Unfortunately, I personally think this arc is dead set on him being with Sunbeam.

    • I so agree, I actually have a theory I posted on the forums last week so I’ll post it here.

Nightheart leaves the clan after accidentally killing Brambleclaw(retired) due to his recklessness.

He leaves the clan borders due to his guilt and meets with this apprentice aged cat who say’s they’d gotten separated from their group. Reluctantly, Nightheart agrees to try and help the young cat find their group again. Along the way the two bond and form a sibling like relationship, and Nightheart meets cats whom he befriends along the way. It kinda starts to seem like clan life isn’t the only way to live.

He eventually finds this group, a group of cats who specialize in stealth and typically only come out at night. Nightheart spends a moon and learns to really love this group of cats and their way of living(haven’t figured out what kind of leadership style they should have yet tho). He even meets a cat who he falls in love with, and they eventually learn of Nightheart’s past and convince him to go back to face his past. The group of cats are actually passing by the clan territory sometime soon anyway.

Nightheart makes it back to ThunderClan who is exited to see him, but sadly a lot had changed in ThunderClan while he was gone. Sorrelshine and Squirrelflight died of greencough, as well as a bunch of other warriors. The death of Sorrelshine and his granmother really hurt Nightheart, and Sparkpelt and Finchlight try to comfort him. Nightheart stays for about a moon, wanting to stay because ThunderClan was struggling from the lack of strong warriors due to Greencough. He tries to adjust back to Clan life, but clan life he finds out just really was never for him. In that moon he finally made peace with his mother Sparkpelt and she convinces him to leave because she can see that he isn’t happy in ThunderClan. Nightheart races off to find the group and his story mostly finishes from there.

    • Rootspring was prepared to leave SkyClan for Bris, but that’s only because he was an outsider in his own Clan

Neither Fringewhisker or Fernwhatever were outsiders in their Clan, so they are default the ones who were going to make the sacrifice so their mate was comfortable

      This better change >:(

And no, Nightheart leaving for Sunbeam doesn’t count if it does happen, Nightheart has his problems in ThunderClan. What we need to prove it is a tom who is not an outsider in his Clan to be willing to change.

            • I’m mostly just hoping fore some cute scenes of her working on fitting in- like struggling to hunt forest prey as she tries to dash after it like she would on the moor and then they all laugh about it.
I feel like so much fun small stuff can be done with her story, hopefully they don’t just forget all about her.

              • Yeah, she and Shellfire better become something I ship

I feel like Fringewhisker and Spireclaw will have a pretty rocky relationship, especially with Berryheart being the mother/in-law, so maybe let’s just have Fernstripe’s little mishaps and her slowly learning life in ThunderClan

Thinking of what you said, I’d like a nice relationship with a positive storyline, like Ivypool and Fernsong, rather than the other forbidden relationships we’ve seen so far

                • Same.. 😛 I hope I find them enjoyable.

Not sure how likely I am to get my wish, but honestly what I hope most with Fernstripe is scenes of her attempting to get to know all her new clanmates but being super awkward and just.. not knowing how to fit. When she was an apprentice in AVoS I’ve noticed some hints to her being a socially anxious extrovert and it’s become my biggest headcanon ever because I’d love to relate to her.

Yeah, with Berryheart as a mother/in-law SpireXFringe is definitely in for some rough sailing.

                • That’s a great head canon, I love it! <3

                  Raise a glass to freedom

          • Fernstripe totally seems like a cool character! She better make an appearance… 😛

            Raise a glass to freedom

  • I actually love Bramblestar and Squirrelflight in this book, and I think they were handled really well- so much that it puts a brand new spin on their arc and keeps their character going.
They do act different than they used to, but they’re not out of character as the changes are realistic and explained.
Bramblestar is suffering with PTSD after Ashfur, as well as the fact that his Clanmates now fear him for something he didn’t choose to do.
His state affects Squirrelflight deeply, she is shown as tense and on edge because of all the worry she goes through. She also feels she can’t confide in other cats, with the exception of her daughter, as this is Bramblestar’s personal struggle matters of which she is determined to keep between the family as she respects his privacy in coping.
When Nightheart demands to change his name, Squirrelflight’s first reaction is to protest because of the emotions due to Firestar being her late father, and also because she is so worried of Bramblestar’s leadership being undermined and him being unable to handle it that an apprentice protesting in such a way was seen as a threat by her. Bramblestar, on the other hand, understands Nightheart on a personal level due to being judged for Tigerstar, and he also might have felt the need to compromise as he’s afraid to be seen as unfair due to the whole Ashfur ordeal.
Personally, I’m finding this to be a realistic and compelling, as well as deeply emotional, storyline, and I’m looking forward to see how the two work through their jumbled feelings and struggles together.

    • Yup, I agree!
Bramblestar has been incredibly shallow (in my opinion) and very dodgy beforehand, and it’s kinda nice to see the Erin’s do something realistic with him. I wish we had a sustained Bramblepaw personality up until now, rather than the whole Brambleclaw/early Bramblestar thing. His storyline this arc will be cool to see unfold

    • Kate’s taking a step back from the Blog for now 🙂

But I assume yes, Jayclaw did go to StarClan

  • Kate, how does pushing a branch proof that Fringewhisker is truly loyal to ShadowClan?

I don’t support Berryhearts extreme views but she may have a point about Fringewhisker’s test too easy (Even if that branch was heavy).
