What is Whispering Shadows?
Whispering Shadows is my Warriors OC comic series. Iโm still working on it and Iโm very passionate about the characters and plot because it is (loosely) based around something that happened in my life and the characters are based of off people I actually know!

The story takes place on an island in the Pacific Ocean (most likely Hawaii). It will focus around my 3 original clans WaveClan, MountanClan, and PetalClan. The main protagonist will be a WaveClan warrior named Shellfrost.

Plot
The Oceans Song- In WaveClan Shellpaw, Gullpaw, Gingerpaw, Seedpaw, Nightpaw, and Reedpaw become apprentices. Shellpaw is apprenticed to Driftshine and Reedpaw becomes the medicine cat apprentice (the rest are warriors). A few weeks later Shellpaw, Gingerpaw, Seedpaw, and Nightpaw go to the gathering and meet Rosepaw, Shadowpaw, Jadepaw, Sagepaw, and Foxpaw. They are all good friends at first before separating into different cliques a litter later on into their apprenticeships. Even though they arenโt all good friends they are all accounted together as the โnew popular apprenticesโ. Even though Shellpaw is in a โgroupโ with Seedpaw, Nightpaw, Rosepaw, Sagepaw, and Shafowpaw she doesnโt necessarily like them and often talks about them behind their backs with her friends Gingerpaw, Foxpaw, and Coralpaw (one of the older apprentices). Shellpaw and her mentor Driftshine have a good mentor-apprentice bond. Shellpaw is good at hunting, swimming, and fighting in water, but she needs work on fighting on land. Shellpaw is kind of embarrassed about this. Shellpaw and her sister Gullpaw donโt have a good relationship. They often argue and get into fights. Shellpaw thinks Gullpaw is the most annoying cat ever. Meanwhile her relationship with her parents is okay, she feels like they favor Gullpaw and always criticize her (Shellpaw). WaveClan has always had conflicts with MountainClan (and some with PetalClan) so there are some border fights. WaveClan is currently the strongest of the 3 clans.
Blood Tide- WaveClan is effected by red tide which weakens WaveClan a lot. Lots of WaveClan cats die due to this. Meanwhile Seedpaw and another WaveClan apprentice named Stormpaw seem to be in mate like relationship. Stormpaw decides to end their relationship because his mother died and he wants to focus on a family and his warrior ceremony is approaching. Because of the red tide WaveClanโs deputy died and Driftshine becomes deputy. Shellpaw, Gingerpaw, and Coralpaw/flower often talk poorly about the other apprentices behind their backs. Shellpaw and her friends seem to talk about Seedpaw and Nightpaw the most even though Seed and Night arenโt that mean to them. Seedpaw and Nightpaw are slightly stuck up though. WaveClan is struggling a lot because of the red tide and the clan is noticeably smaller and weaker.
The Broken Clan- The red tide is finally gone but WaveClan is weak and broken. The other clans especially MountainClan (they have had a rivalry with them for a very long time). Shellpaw and her generation will become warriors at the end of the book. Shellpaw is very nervous about this because she regrets not living in the moment during her apprenticeship and is very nervous about being a warrior. Shellpaw continues to talk poorly about the other apprentices until her mother overhears her conversation and lectures her on her behavior. She feels really bad about how she treated the other apprentices. One day at training Driftshine sees that Shellpaw looks upsets and she asks her whatโs wrong. Shellpaw tells her about how she said rude things about the some of other apprentices. Driftshine comforts her and tells her that she is still a good cat one one of the nicest cats sheโs ever met. She tells Shellpaw about how when she was an apprentice she was unpopular when she was an apprentice because she was so mean. Shellpaw is very surprised because Driftshine is so nice. Shellpaw and her generation become warriors. Shellpaw is given the name Shellfrost.
Mountain and Ocean- WaveClan is now fully recovered from the red tide but they have lost a lot of warriors and ate not as strong as they were at the begging of the series. Shellfrost continues to be acquaintances with Shadowblossom, Sagefeather, Rosethorn, Foxspring, and Jademist. They talk at gatherings and sometimes secretly meet up at night to talk. Meanwhile Nighttail and Seedstripe are jealous of eachother and often get into arguments. Itโs hinted that Nighttail is toxic to Seedstripe. Shellfrost is enjoying being a warrior. Seedstripe has depression . Meanwhile WaveClan and MonitionClan are on the verge of war. Shellfrost as a small crush on Seedstripe. The two she cats start to become better friends.
Path of Death- Shadowblossom and Sagefeather are exiled from MountainClan for attempting to murder Foxspring. Rosethorn wants to leave MountainClan because she feels like she has no friends left. Nighttail is also very upset about the exile because she was also close with Shadowblossom and Sagefeather. The cats who were involved in the attempted murder besides Sage and Shadow were Rosethorn, Nighttail, and Seedstripe. They are not exiled even though some cats want them to be. The exile is all everyone can talk about. An apprentice in PetalClan is murdered. PetalClan blames it on WaveClan. Throughout the book Seedstripe and Shellfrost are becoming better friends. They become mates at the end of the book. Seedstripe and Nighttails relationship is going downhill. Some cute (mostly in PetalClan) are mysteriously getting rabies. Foxspring runs away because she no longer feels safe in the Clans.
The Perfect Storm- The clans are now all on the verge of war. Meanwhile the medicine cats are having visions of a terrible storm and more cats are getting rabies including Jademist. When the storm is about to strike WaveClan has to evacuate because they live on the beach but they canโt evacuate safely because of rabid PetalClan cats and aggressive MountainClan cats. The clan is divided because half thinks WaveClan should attack the other clans during the storm and the other half thinks they should evacuate. The WaveClan leader Torrentstar is on her last life so the WaveClan cats think she will die in the storm and Driftshine will become leader. Foxspring returns to MountainClan. When the storm comes WaveClan is forced to evacuate but they end up being attacked by the other 2 clans. They are now at war. When the battle starts Sagefeather and Shadowblossom attack and they also have rabies. Nighttail and Seedstripe get into a huge fight and Nighttail attacks Seedstripe. Shellfrost is forced to kill Jademist. Many cats die including Driftshine. Foxspring kills Shadowblossom by pushing her in the ocean. Sagefeather runs away after watching Shadowblossom die. Rosethorn and Nighttail chase after her. The battle eventually ends with the death of Shddowblossom. Seedstripe and Shellfrost go back to WaveClan camp which is ruined because of the storm. They find out that Driftshine lost a lot of blood and is about to die. They are heartbroken. The two she cats go say goodbye to her and sit with her white she dies. The book ends with and epilogue 6 moons later where Shellfrost and Seedstripe get apprentices.

Not sure if I should post in the Fanfiction page but whatever. So, what I’ll do is to have the Warriors title be flipped, so the titles are now the opposite of the original. Later, I will tweak the plot to make it match the opposite title.
The Prophecies End:
Into The Household – After losing the battle with RiverClan for Sunningrocks, Spottedleaf receives a prophecy, ‘Ice will destroy the clan’. Bluestar doesn’t understand this, and sends an apprentice, Graypaw, to the twolegplace, to find help, and tells Redtail to organize more hunting patrols. Tigerclaw was disbelieved that a kittypet will help them, but doesn’t object. While Graypaw was searching the Twolegplace, a twoleg takes him to a Twoleg Den, where he meets a she-cat named Shiny. Desperate to escape, Graypaw and Shiny both escape from the Twoleg den and travel back to ThunderClan, where Shiny receives an apprentice name, Icepaw. . Graypaw, Ravenpaw, and Icepaw become warriors, Graystripe, Ravenwing, and Icefrost.
Ice and Fire –
Forest of common knowledge – . Icefrost kills Redtail without anyone knowing, and blames Tigerclaw, who witnessed the murder, for it. Tigerclaw attempts to fight Icefrost, but Bluestar dismisses him. Tigerclaw attempts to pick up Darkstripe, Dustpelt, and Longtail, but all of them refuse.
Falling Storm – Icefrost sees Bramblekit and Tawnykit, Tigerclaw’s kits, and tries to threaten them that their father is evil, but Goldenflower protects them from her words. Bluestar appoints Icefrost as deputy, and receives Cloudpaw as an apprentice. . At the gathering, Tigerstar has become leader of ShadowClan and Bluestar is angry at this, mentally shutting down.
A ‘Safe’ Path – Icefrost lured dogs into ThunderClan territory so she can kill Bluestar and everyone who disagrees with her leadership, and finds Tigerstar on ThunderClan territory and takes away one of his lives. Tigerstar escapes, and Icefrost wishes he never became leader. Icefrost finds out that Swiftpaw is angry that Cloudtail became a warrior before him, so she attempts to murder him by sending him to find out what was eating the prey in Snakerocks, which she had a pack of them waiting, but tells him that she will convince Bluestar to make him a warrior. Swiftpaw accepts, and Brightpaw wants to go with him, who Icefrost also tells she will receive her Warrior Name as well if she goes with him. Tigerstar attempts to check ThunderClan territory everyday in hopes of catching Icefrost alone, but while checking the territory, he finds dogs attacking the two apprentices Icefrost attempted to murder. Tigerstar pulls the apprentices away from the dogs, and the dogs turn on him. Swiftpaw joins in the fight, but is killed, along with one of Tigerstar’s lives. Brightpaw quickly returned to camp to say that Swiftpaw is dead, and Icefrost quickly interrupts her and says that Tigerstar lured the dogs into Snakerocks. Longtail blames Icefrost for his former apprentice’s death, because she was the one who sent him there, but Icefrost says that Tigerstar takes most of the blame. Later, Tigerstar catches ‘Icefrost’ alone at nighttime and attempts to kill her, but later realizes it was Brindleface after fighting into better lighting, and tries to explain the truth, but Icefrost appears and tells Brindleface to not believe him, drags her by the scruff toward an area near camp, and kills her, after realizing her body can be used to lure dogs into camp. Icefrost returns and tells Bluestar that Tigerstar killed Brindleface. Icefrost lures the dogs into camp successfully, but is attacked by Tigerstar so the lead dog can catch up to her, but she escapes. Bluestar had fallen into the river and swallowed a lot of water. Tigerstar later leaves ShadowClan and leaves it in the paws of Blackfoot, the deputy, returns to his home clan, and tells the whole clan the truth. The whole clan is shocked, except Darkstripe, who says that he was a great cat the whole time, and the whole clan decided that Icefrost should be exiled. Tigerstar becomes the leader of ThunderClan, appointing Darkstripe as deputy.
The Brightest Hour – Icefrost, as a rogue, finds BloodClan and tells them that if she takes over for a while, Scourge can take over leadership again and own the whole forest. Scourge agrees with the offer, and they stand backup for Icefrost so she can take over ThunderClan again, but actually, she was attempting to just kill Scourge in the battle so she can take BloodClan herself. All the clans reported rogues with spiked collars at their borders, and Tigerstar decides that he must merge the clans together to protect them because Leopardstar, Tallstar, and Blackstar all reported a numerous amount of rogues patiently waiting at the border. All the leaders decide to side with him, and Icefrost calls an immediate attack. Icefrost attempts to murder Scourge in the battle, but underestimated his fighting skills, so he kills her. Scourge moves on to kill Tigerstar too, but Darkstripe attacks him. Scourge calls all of his cats together and leave, and says because Icefrost attempt to kill him as an act of betrayal, everything else she said were probably lies too, and leaves, but actually settles in between the twolegplace and unclaimed land as BloodClan again.

Stonestar gets angry that Shyeye and Mossflight, both she-cats, declared they will be mates. Goldenfrost disagrees with him and supports Shy x Moss. Stonestar banishes Shyeye and Mossflight for being lesbian and Goldenfrost for supporting them. After Softheart dies in her kitting, Mossflight and Shyeye offered to raise them, then Goldenfrost finally returns to ShadowClan.

Later, Mistybrook, who was mentoring Spirepaw, murdered him so Dawnpaw could feel like her daughter, Berrypaw. Mistybrook gets exiled, and Berrypaw continuously spars with Dawnpaw with claws unsheathed, and often overpowers her. Jaguarstar decided to exile her own apprentice, and Mistybrook mentors Berrymoon, attempting to drive her evil. Before that could happen, a StarClan warrior comes in her dreams and tells her to go back to ThunderClan. By the time she went back, Dawnpaw was already Dawnfoot, and her enemy. Jaguarstar assesses Berrypaw and she passes, becoming Berrymoon.

Lightpaw refuses to take her advice, preferring to practice battle moves with her mentor, Barkstream, instead. Russetspeckle gets greencough, and the medicine cat tells her to collect catmint. However, Lightpaw refuses to collect catmint for her. Russetspeckle and Sandystripe both die of unknown causes, and Snowrush refuses to speak to her, thinking its her fault that Russetspeckle and Sandystripe are dead. Later, Palepaw comes back to Lightpaw in a dream telling her to be a medicine cat. Lightpaw says she can’t be one, as her apprenticeship was running too long. Lightpaw tells her she has to or else Snowrush will die. Finally, Lightpaw obeys her and becomes the medicine cat apprentice, learning to overcome her laziness and untidyness. Snowrush finally starts to talk to her after receiving her medicine cat name, Lightsong.

I have this idea of something that I think would be really cool. We could all write a story together, but not in the way you think. We would each write a sentence in the story based on a previous sentence.
For Example:
Person 1: Brambleclaw walked up to Squirrelflight.
Person 2: Squirrelflight looked at Brambleclaw and ran away.
Person 3: Brambleclaw cried and hid in the warriors den.
The system would work like this, and to make sure things donโt get to crazy, there will be a form where you pick your sentence number. (The sentences can be more detailed than what I wrote ๐ )

Eaglepelt, a StoneClan warrior, feels the same and soon becomes fast friends with Frostedwillow. But their friendship won’t last forever…
Speckletail, a LeafClan warrior, doesn’t see why the two can’t just share the mountains. But there is talk of LeafClan joining the war, and Speckletail isn’t sure what to think.
And Stemwhisker, a BriarClan warrior, is completely oblivious to the fighting, since BriarClan doesn’t converse much with the other Clans. But Stemwhisker sees that something is going on, and he wants to find out what.

The story is about a bunch of teens being kidnapped by a mad scientist and him fusing them with animal so that they are hybrids. Then the scientist puts them into the wild to survive. There are three camps with different way of living. Hunters: A tribe that lives in the mountains that only accepts people fused with Predators. They are mostly hostile to other camps.
Lakesiders: They take in almost anybody but are very fond of People fused with Aquatic Animals. They live on an Island in the middle of the lake in The Valley. They are very intelligent.
Warriors: The Warriors accept everyone that is able to survive their membership test. They are decent enough to the other camps but have a very strict policy of not crossing into their territory which is in the Forest.

Oh yeah, I’ve already nearly filled two journals– one of them an inch+ thick ๐ Most of the things in both notebooks are for this same novel. ๐
Well the thing I’m having hard time with is adding a dash of realism.
Instead of them being like “We need to do this, this, and then that” and “Well that dude wasn’t my real father oh well!!!!!”, I’m trying to make the characters more realistic ๐
Basically less just running through the plot like they rehearsed it, if you know what I mean. ๐
I’m gonna go be frustrated with my clueless resolution now.

More description would help with that, I think. With more like, maybe their heart hammering, or “She didn’t know what to think” “Dread settled in her stomach” “Frustration tingled in the tips of her paws” things like that. Extra thoughts might help too, “No.” She thought. “This isn’t real. It can be happening”
