I watched Spy X Family this summer and LOVED it. Absolutely hysterical. I’m invested. Then i watched Death Note with my brother. L was amazing. Funky little gremlin. Absolute heathen. He was a freak but he was funny about it. That was like 4 days ago lol. Now I’m working through Attack on Titan. I can’t watch a lot because I like to watch with my brother, and he’s in college. Sadness. But like?? My unhinged theory was right?? My unhinged theories are never right??
My friend’s favorite character is Levi. So far he’s had like 3 minutes of screentime, did some cool flips, and dipped. I hope he pops up again soon??
Next up after AoT is Jujutsu Kaisen, i think. Any other recommendations?

Does anyone here watch Delicious in Dungeon (or ‘Dungeon Meshi’ as it’s known as in Japan) or read the manga that it’s based on?
For those who haven’t watched it, it’s about a group (or ‘party’) of adventurers who fight monsters in a dungeon and one of their members gets eaten by a red dragon and two of the members decide to leave the party after the fight, so the remaining members of the party decide to return to the dungeon to save her, but they don’t have much food or money left as the one who got eaten by the dragon cast a spell before she got swallowed up to save the other party members by transporting them outside of the dungeon, leaving their bags and belongings inside the dungeon, so the leader of the party comes up with an idea: they will return to the dungeon to save the leader’s sister from the dragon’s stomach, and while they explore the dungeon floors they will cook and eat any monsters that they come across and fight, much to the disgust of the other party members (Eating monsters? No way!). But how will they know how to cook them properly and which ones are safe to eat? Maybe they need a new party member who knows all about monster cuisine…
If that description intrigues you, then I recommend that you watch it (if you’re over the age of 15 since that’s the age rating on Netflix because it contains some infrequent minor swearing). It’s a (mostly) lighthearted fantasy show that teaches you about how the dungeon works as an ecosystem and all of the monsters within it, plus there are some exciting action scenes and some brilliant animation done by Studio Trigger! Think Dungeons & Dragons or a fantasy RPG that is also part cooking show. 😛
The DAN DA DAN opening theme is a banger, enough said. 😛

DAN DA DAN episode 7 should win an Emmy, it’s that good.
The animation, the music, the adaptation of the story from the original manga… it all comes together to create a beautiful, moving and touching piece of art.
It’s a masterpiece that nearly made me cry, and it’s very hard to make me cry. 😛

in the one piece world their last names come first, so his name his parents named him Luffy, and his last name is Monkey 😛 still weird though XD

Has anyone here seen Haikyuu? I’ve slowly been getting through it (high school student taking wayyyy too many AP classes does not leave much time for anime) and I LOVE it. I’m not a sports person in any way shape or form but I just love the characters so much. The Karasuno boys are so silly and make me laugh way harder than they should lol. I just want someone to yap with me about it. Also, if you have seen it, what do you think about the art style change for season 4?
Yessss. I don’t watch much anime anymore, but Haikyuu is still one I remember with nothing but fondness. I am definitely glad I got to experience the story and all the characters. They were all very special and full of magic to me and still are. If one day we discover a universe where anime is real, I know its Haikyuu I’ll visit first 😛
I barely noticed the art-style change in season 4, tbh 😛

I like Studio Ghibli films! I believe that nearly all of them are on Netflix right now and I’ve watched Kiki’s Delivery Service, Princess Mononoke, Pom Poko and The Cat Returns so far on there, along with half of My Neighbour Totoro, though I have watched Spirited Away and Ponyo years ago. 🙂
